Chapter 337 - Chapter 337

Shing!

Splurt!

Under the joint force of slashing and piercing—

The slug-like monster's body was torn open, two massive holes ripped through its flesh, and thick, foul-smelling liquid gushed out like waterfalls.

"It worked! Now's our chance!"

Seeing the damage, Daigo didn't hesitate to act.

"Zepellion Ray!"

"Pure Land's Light!"

Tiga and Guren Knightmon aimed their signature energy attacks at the open wounds.

The two beams converged inside the creature's body—resulting in a massive internal explosion!

The blast was so violent it split the enormous slug monster clean in two.

Streams of green acid spewed violently from both halves of the body.

"Get back!!"

Tiga sensed danger and quickly retreated, Guren Knightmon following close behind. They narrowly escaped the range of the acidic shower.

The explosion scattered the acid like a storm, raining it across the entire battlefield.

Any monster it touched—whether twenty meters or over a hundred—was dissolved instantly, bones and all.

The once-crowded battlefield had become a series of green, foul-smelling craters. Hardly any monster corpses remained—most had been melted beyond recognition.

The terrifying corrosiveness of the slug monster's fluids couldn't be understated.

"Glad we got out of there in time. If that hit either of us… we'd be done."

Daigo muttered, still shaken. But he noticed something else too.

Though many of these creatures were colossal in size, they weren't all that powerful. Those over a hundred meters tall, like the ones earlier, were about on par with Golza or Melba—they could be brought down with the right effort.

That realization gradually boosted Daigo's confidence.

But just then, a new wave of monsters began pouring out of the Blood Pool—too many to count.

One by one, more of those towering, hundred-meter-tall beasts followed.

"How long is this gonna go on…?"

Daigo muttered as he fired more lasers down at the encroaching horde.

The Victory Team's fighters—Swallow I, Swallow II, and the Artdisse—finally reached the battlefield.

"My god! Look at all those monsters… Are those robots too?! What even is this?!"

Shinjō, seeing the scale of the threat for the first time, was stunned, struggling to believe what he saw.

"And they're all crawling out of that pit! What is that thing?!"

Horii was equally shaken. None of the team had ever encountered anything like this.

"Whatever it is, we must fight. If we retreat, what happens to the civilians?"

Captain Munakata suppressed his own fear and rallied his team. They couldn't afford to back down.

"Everyone, I've informed Director Sawai of the situation. TPC's full military arsenal is being mobilized to support you. Until backup arrives—stay alive."

Captain Iruma's voice came through.

"Given the number of monsters… I'm not asking for miracles. Just survive."

Even from her command center, Captain Iruma could feel the oppressive tension in the air.

Could humanity truly stand against this?

She didn't dare think about it too deeply.

All she could hope for now was that her team would live.

"Understood, Captain. All units—engage! Support Tiga!"

Munakata relayed the orders.

Swallow I, Swallow II, and the Artdisse all opened fire, launching lasers and missiles into the Blood Pool and the monsters surrounding it.

Their firepower was enough to decimate any creature under twenty meters. That small success helped lift the team's spirits just a bit.

"Daigo, where are you…?"

In Swallow II, Rena stared at her console, unable to reach Daigo.

She desperately wanted to go search for him—but in this chaos, she had no choice but to keep fighting and pray.

Ultraman Leo Universe

Leo, Seven, and five Chouseishin robots had arrived at the front lines.

By now, monsters had made it all the way to nearby towns, beginning their massacre.

People were running in all directions, screaming. The once-prosperous city was being reduced to rubble—monuments of civilization shattered, buildings crumbling under monster claws.

It was nothing short of hell on Earth.

"BASTARDS!!"

Leo saw the carnage and couldn't bear it. He wanted to jump in and save as many people as he could.

"Leo—wait!"

Seven stopped him.

"Captain! Why are you stopping me?!"

Leo turned to him in disbelief.

"If you go charging in there recklessly, how will you deal with the smaller monsters? One careless move, and you might hurt the survivors!"

Seven warned him, laying out the consequences.

"Leave this to me. You handle the ones that haven't reached the city yet!"

"…Captain."

"Go!"

Reluctantly, Leo nodded. He trusted Seven—and flew off to intercept the incoming wave of monsters further out.

"You five! Spread out and fire from above. Thin their numbers before they breach further into the city!"

Seven ordered the five Chouseishin robots.

They immediately obeyed and flew to strategic positions.

Seven looked down at the thousands of monsters ravaging the streets, as screams echoed below.

"Ultra Psychokinesis!"

He crossed his arms in front of his face and unleashed a wave of powerful psychic energy.

His telekinesis spread like a mist, seeping into every corner of the city.

One by one, every monster within range was lifted into the air and then crushed in an instant, reduced to nothing but bursts of gore.

Only Seven and the King of Ultra were known to use psychic energy with this much precision and force.

Leo, watching from a distance, was awed by Seven's ability.

He knew he himself could never accomplish something like that.

With the city now safe, Leo turned his full attention to the horde approaching.

ROOOAAARRR!!!

Several giant monsters over a hundred meters tall spotted him and charged.

"Leo Kick!"

Without hesitation, Leo launched his signature flying kick—soaring like a meteor into the giants and piercing them straight through.

When he landed, the resulting shockwave flattened the smaller monsters nearby like a tidal wave of force.

BOOM BOOM BOOM!!

Suddenly, a massive robot—over a hundred meters tall—began firing lasers at Leo.

He wasn't quick enough to dodge, and the blasts knocked him to the ground.

Just as the robot was about to fire again, Gantoras slammed into it, toppling it over.

Leo took the chance to leap back to his feet with a kip-up.

He fired his L77 Beam, blasting the giant robot into a rain of scrap metal and explosions.

The shockwave from the blast vaporized even more monsters nearby.

"As long as I still stand—you won't harm humanity!!"

Leo clenched his fists and glared at the battlefield, trembling with fury. The sight reminded him too much of the fall of Planet L77.

He would never let that happen again.
