More massive monsters—hundreds of meters tall—climbed out of the Blood Pool. Some were entirely mechanical, looking like walking robots made of pure metal.
However, each of them had a deep gaping wound somewhere on their bodies—clear signs of having survived Diana's earlier light sword bombardment inside the Blood Pool.
"Damn it… there's no telling when this will stop."
Despite the sheer number of creatures, Diana couldn't help but smile. She didn't mind a battle that never ended.
"Hey, Miss Diana, maybe next time give us a little warning before pulling a move like that, yeah?"
Barry zipped up beside her, half-joking but a little exasperated.
"Sorry… it came to me in the moment. I had no idea where you even were."
Diana smiled apologetically.
"Hey, you're an Amazon? Are Amazons usually this strong?"
Arthur arrived with Neptunemon, curiously eyeing Diana.
"I'm not just any Amazon. Nice to meet you, Atlantean."
"Just call me Arthur. I've got nothing to do with Atlantis."
Arthur waved off the title, not wanting any association.
Meanwhile, Bruce Wayne had finished deploying a vast yellow energy barrier from his Yellow Lantern Ring, creating a large protective dome over the area—ensuring none of the monsters would escape.
After completing the setup, he had Dark Winged Bat return him to the ground. He glanced at the ring thoughtfully.
"Does this thing even have an energy limit?"
It was the first time he had used this much Yellow Lantern energy in one go, and he was starting to feel a little concerned.
Back on solid ground, he joined the others, watching the never-ending wave of monsters emerge from the Blood Pool.
"I'll handle the big ones—you take the rest."
Diana nodded at the colossal beasts.
"…I hate admitting this, but yeah. Only you can deal with those."
Arthur looked at his trident, suddenly feeling a little underwhelming.
"Be careful, Miss Diana!"
Barry gripped the Sword of Hephaestus nervously.
"Everyone… survive. No matter what."
Bruce drew the Dark Knight's Sword, eyes locked on the tide of monsters surging toward them.
"We're probably Earth's last line of defense."
That thought alone weighed on him like a mountain. After years of fighting crime, this was his first battle to protect the entire planet. He refused to lose.
"Alfred, find a way to contact the President. Tell him to prepare nuclear weapons."
Bruce called through his communicator.
"Master Wayne, that might prove extremely difficult."
"Try anyway. If we fail here, everything ends."
As Bruce gave orders, the monsters—giants included—began charging at them.
"RAAAAHHHH!!"
As always, Diana led the charge. She roared with fury as her radiant Sword of Victory lit up, forming a twenty-meter energy blade. She sprinted head-on into the monster horde.
The other three men followed close behind, ready to give everything they had.
...
Tiga Ultraman Universe
Tiga and Guren Knightmon had arrived at the Blood Pool battlefield.
By now, waves of monsters had already emerged, spilling toward human cities in all directions.
"You're not going anywhere!"
Daigo took a deep breath and readied himself to die if needed. His determination awakened a new surge of power in Tiga!
"Zepellion Ray!"
"Pure Land's Light!"
Tiga and Guren Knightmon unleashed their beams, sweeping across the battlefield.
These monsters were under fifty meters tall, and even in large numbers, they fell like weeds before the twin onslaught of light.
"…Huh? My power—it's stronger now?"
Daigo noticed the boost. Still, he didn't dwell on it—he kept firing, mowing down monster after monster.
ROOOOOOAAAARRRR!!
Suddenly, a furious roar shook the Blood Pool.
A colossal beast, over a hundred meters tall, emerged and instantly fired blue lightning from its mouth at Tiga and Guren Knightmon.
"Watch out!"
Guren Knightmon stepped in front of Tiga, raising his shield to block the attack. Then, with a swift thrust, he launched a laser from his spear, piercing the monster's skull.
Just as the monster's head exploded, a massive black shadow soared out from the mist.
It was nearly 200 meters tall, with three heads—a crow on each side and a pterosaur in the center. The sizes didn't match, and it looked grotesque and unbalanced.
All three heads opened fire, spitting blood-red fireballs at Tiga.
"Hyaaa!"
Tiga shot multiple beams to intercept the incoming fireballs. Then, forming an L-shape with his arms, he unleashed a simplified Zepellion Ray, blasting clean through the massive three-headed beast.
But as soon as it fell, another monster appeared from the Blood Pool.
This one resembled a slug, but its bloated gray-blue body was covered in oozing boils, and it was over 300 meters tall.
It opened its maw and launched a putrid green liquid at Tiga.
Tiga and Guren Knightmon quickly dodged, flying to the side to avoid the acidic stream.
As the liquid hit the ground—
—any monsters splashed by it dissolved entirely. Not even ashes remained.
The forested area below, once lush with life, was now a cratered wasteland—completely melted and corrupted by the acid.
The power of this slug monster's acid was terrifying.
"That liquid… is deadly. We have to take it out!"
Daigo sensed the danger and focused.
"Zepellion Ray!"
"Pure Land's Light!"
They fired again—but this time, the rays struck the slug-like monster's skin and didn't penetrate. Instead, the creature's rubbery flesh bounced the beams back into the surrounding monsters.
"What?! It can reflect beam attacks?!"
Daigo was stunned.
"Master, creatures with elastic bodies like this usually can't withstand physical blades!"
Guren Knightmon shouted.
"Then let's try it!"
Tiga and Guren Knightmon flew straight toward the monster.
It immediately started spitting more acid. The two dodged repeatedly, zigzagging through the sky.
Once they reached its side—
Tiga charged energy into his hand, forming a glowing energy blade and slashing at the monster with full force.
Guren Knightmon thrust with all his might.
