Su Nian gave a weak smile, staggered her head, "I'm fine, I'm really okay."
Luoz looked at her worriedly, but he didn't know how to soothe her. Suddenly, he stretched out his arm and pulled her into his embrace. His chest was warm and strong, seeming capable of bearing all her heartache and sorrow.
Su Nian hesitated, then abruptly pushed him away, "Luoz, you've crossed the line."
Shrugging, Luoz said, "Vivian, I didn't intend to take advantage of you. I just didn't want to see you upset, so..."
"I understand, but I hope incidents like this won't happen again." Su Nian stood up from the sofa and walked towards the door.
Luoz's expression darkened, watching her retreating figure, he abruptly stood up, "Vivian, I'm not in love with you, so you don't have to be on guard against me like I'm a thief. If you don't like me, you can treat me as a brother, or a friend. Over the years, I'll have my own family, wife, children, so you don't have to worry about me pestering you."
