Lucas stirred, as his memories came back. They never left, but his muddled brain found it necessary to review what brought about what happened, and brought him to where he was right now, when the fog stopped weighing it down, and it came back online.
The relic came back to his mind, then the last catastrophe. Kaiden, that bastard who looked even more smug than him, had broken the giant halberd, and taken what might have been the most precious treasure in the brown giant planet, bringing about a chain reaction that destabilized the planet's core, and brought about more destruction than any could have stood against.
Really, despite being the first human he had let outside of Earth, Kaiden was really a frigging bastard.
