There was something I had to accept and realized while facing the Minotaur.
It was an abomination I could never defeat myself. I nearly died in one hit, and even after throwing most of my fire powers at it, I was still unable to leave a scratch on it.
The best I could do was to stall it. But even then, for how long could i manage?
To the Minotaur, I was nothing more than a pesky ant. It only needed to get hold of me and crush me in its hands.
That was just the painful reality. I still wasn't strong enough to defeat and Grade Four Monster Specie all on my own. Even with all of my diverse attacks.
It was a risk I truly was against taking, but I turned to Don and the others for help.
"You okay?"
A familiar voice drew me out of my thoughts. I broke my meditation and raised my head to see the figure of Lia standing just over me.
Her hair was still silver and her skin still suffused with an underglow. There was a strange influence in the surrounding whenever she moved.
