"I am sorry," I said, trying to regain my composure. I didn't know how I was going to defend myself against something that my power was telling me was dead, but I would figure out something. "What don't I understand?"
"Our woman was in pain," answered the fourth man. He looked like the one who had kidnapped me and a little bit like Liu Hao Yu, too. Maybe they were related? Could I use the relationship between me and Li Hao Yu to get out of here?
"I understand that your woman is in pain," I replied, trying to get back into the headspace of a doctor. I needed to be a lot more diplomatic towards these four men, but I was worried I wouldn't be able to do it.
