Norris Moore couldn't quite understand why Charles Green was gripping her arm so tightly. She lowered her eyes to glance at Charles's fingers, wanting to tell him that he was hurting her, but her attention was quickly drawn to the man approaching them.
The man was, without a doubt, too handsome.
Up close, his features appeared even more flawlessly perfect.
Norris couldn't help but stare at him a few times, her heart fluttering uncontrollably.
It wasn't until he came over and stood in front of them that she noticed. The man was as tall and as imposing as Charles, yet he had an intimidating presence, an icy demeanor utterly mismatched with his delicate and refined face.
Norris glanced at him and couldn't help but feel a bit scared, instinctively hiding behind Charles.
She thought to herself that this person must know Charles, and with Charles's appearance here, he had come for revenge.
