"Pardon the delay, Lady Aquarina," Rose said, curtsing before the Archangel of Water.
"Better late than never," Aquarina said, her stoic tone softening with a faint smile, her eyes flicking to Anis. "Your daughter's enthusiasm is a good omen." She stepped forward, her robes flowing like water, and gestured to the room's center. "Shall we begin your training?"
"We're ready, Lady Aquarina," I said, my voice firm.
She let out a scoff and nodded. I felt like I was about to get a taste of my own training here. The way she carried herself was just like me with my unit.
"Ready or not, you'll learn fast," she said, her faint smile hinting at a challenge, her deep sapphire blue eyes seeming to peer into my soul.
I could start to see why people found me intimidating...
"Summoning guardian angels requires focus—heart and soul."
"And a strong bond," Halim said as he stepped to the center. "Aquarina, allow me to handle this."
