Chapter 349 - Chapter 349: The Lost City

"Okay, now what?" Stolas asked as everyone was transported into the shadow's realm, seeing it trickle and leak during its transfer, with the Biblical Sorcerer even witnessing his friend struggling to hold the kingdom for a prolonged time.

"We need to weaken this thing down and run away once it can't fight back anymore. That's...literally the only thing I can think of that can help against this monster." Solomon would answer, bringing curiosity towards the children.

"How the heck are we supposed to weaken THAT!? Even if we put up as many suns as we can muster, it just takes one attack to change the battle in its favor! Not to mention-"

SHIKK

The assailant was still trying to kill the children, a direct hit across Harvard's head, bleeding out from his mouth as he'd ragdoll across the area, interrupting his words as a result. He'd cough out some blood, spitting it off of the side, as he'd try to have his wound close thanks to his Monster Magic. "THAT! That right there! We got two problems we have to juggle if we want to come out of this alive!" Harvard was being a bit lost for words while his brain regenerated, struggling to think of a reasonable answer against the murderer, trying to find him from the darkness, but failed to do so.

"Considering that person's targeting you the most, it doesn't seem like it should be an issue. Plus, it's just a matter of time before the Umibozu gets to him." Solomon commented, as he'd try to reinforce the realm itself, patching any leaks being made, hearing its roar and feeling its heavy fists try to bash its way into the pitch black. "Right now, we have a bigger fish. If any of you has an answer to wear it down, let's hear it!"

"...I mean.." He'd look through his cards for an option, stopping at a monster he hasn't used yet. "...I do have one, but it's gonna take a LOT of space."

"How big is it?" Solomon asked. Harvard merely looked down at the city for the children to understand his meaning. "THAT BIG!?"

"Yeah. It's like a living continent. It MAY end up catching Khepros in the crossfire, but it's definitely something that can work!" The boys look towards one another as they'd see the monster, with Solomon taking a deep breath.

"Just try to summon it at the cusp of the shadow. Once it gets unleashed and brawls, we can have Khepros step back and get out of there." Solomon's warnings would be acknowledged by Harvard, seeing him nod bring a smile on his face. He'd set up his barrier around Khepros, raising it, letting it take shape in the form of the dancing lights. He'd break it down so that only the lights would be present, acting as the anchor to tether his sigil. Stolas would assist further by creating such stars to ease the gap, letting it act as a second layer to fuel the energy further. Zazel would create Asmodeus to remove the water, letting the dragon invade and fly around the city, removing any humidity in the area to ensure the Umibozu wouldn't interrupt it, as well as make the heat harder for any outsiders to intervene, letting the weariness wear down the attacker from beyond their sight. With the energy and the safety available, Harvard would be quick on casting his seal, letting it be made across the lights, having them act as the cost, the sigil glowing green.

A massive hand escaped out of its marking, as Harvard began to chant.

"Urbs antiqua...iterum surge!!"

"Quondam in memoriam...Terrae tuae arescent....et superficies tua apparebit..."

"Viam munit suo corde..."

"Manus ejus...."

"Animam suam...."

"Nunc iterum vivet!!!"

"ARAWAREAUUUU!!!!"

His scream was enough to echo across the realm, as a massive beam of light emerged, one that pierced through the ocean, parting it, pushing the Umibozu back, as the beast came out. A massive land, lava that pooled out of its hands and feet, volcanic mountains on its shoulders, a core of the planet in its center, its gravitational pull enough to drag the Sea Monk closer. It lacks a head, rather having its face be on the chest, one with grisly teeth and no eyes. As soon as it roared, lightning cracked against the sky, as the ocean itself evaporated, now a massive hole around the monster. The Umibozu merely pulled the waves into it, trying to smolder the creature, yet it merely swatted them away and changed it to earth, before blasting the Humanoid back with lava. Khepros was quick to escape, yet Harvard would try to finish his chant as the creature warped the land with each step from its hot sludge.

"Paradisus Caducus!!"

"Antiquus Ruin!!!"

"AT! LAN! TIIIIIIIIIIIIIISS!!!!!"

Once more, the monster bellowed out a monstrous scream, rushing forward to try and grapple the water humanoid and uppercut it straight at his round head, before following it up with a double fisted hammer straight down, splashing the waves, causing a massive ripple and the seas to push Khepros back further. Everyone would be left stunned at seeing the child summon such a behemoth, but even more so, they were stunned that the Umibozu chose to keep fighting.

SHIKK!!

It retaliated with a tendril made out of the ocean itself, slashing against one of the volcanic mountains, cutting at its arm and letting the Lava pool out further, before following it up with a grapple and a slam straight into the water, a Tsunami being formed from the impact. The locals at Khepros merely set up the barrier once more and utilized the Sun Magic in its internal structure to boil and evaporate the water before any further damage was made, making the scarab try to get closer. At first, Harvard and the others were confused, trying to look at them and wonder why they aren't trying to leave. It wasn't until he'd see that the Sea Monk would create a massive wall of water, rising at such speeds that a mere tap would most likely cleave off the city in half. The Umibozu doesn't plan on letting them escape. Rather, it plans on taking down the whole city by its own hand, if it must.

It was going to be a battle worth recording in history. Even if they die, they would want to remember this event for ages to come. They weren't afraid of being trapped by the Humanoid. They were willing to sacrifice their life if it means it falls just as much as they do.
