Thousands upon thousands of residents began to leave behind Khepros, some using their magic to float upwards and escape their buildings, trying to be far away from the fight, while others would use their Artifacts to create something suitable to soar across the air. Soldiers and Medics came to help heal the Scarab and reinforce it with some weapons, some of which would implant straight onto its shell to attack back: Gatling guns through Steel Magic, Customized bullets to freeze the water with Gun Magic, even trying to split the sky so that the sun can be visible amidst the heavy storm, empowering the Walking City with the Sun's rays, an integrated magic style in its body to prevent it from breaking again.
Sun Magic.
The barrier was brought back, and now the beast began to fight back, unloading massive hordes of metal down on the Umibozu. The Humanoid, in response, merely sank down into the depths and reappeared right underneath Khepros, picking it up and preparing to make a suplex, letting it crash into the ocean's banks and drown the locals once more. Harvard, as he and the others were being flipped over their heads, their bodies pushed straight into the shell as the velocity shifted, would try to cast two spells, one of which raised the very bank itself, creating a makeshift island in the process, raising panic to the civilians and soldiers. "THAT'S SAVING US, RIGHT?!" Solomon asked, as he'd try to pass some energy to the Card Magician through one of his plagues, converting it into its raw source so he can cast his second spell.
"YEP!" Was all he needed to respond as his second spell came out, shifting the island into that of two massive hands, attaching it into the shell so that Khepros catches itself. It would retaliate with this new wedge by a kick with one of its legs, followed by a flip to make the hands do a double uppercut, nearly knocking its head off, having the body of water be pushed back as a result. The Walking City scampered across the oceans again, arms at the helm, aiming for a hook, then a gut punch, followed by a third uppercut to rip it out. Despite the combo, the water simply rejuvenated back its lost cranium and pushed the City back, letting the head scoop as much water as it could before tossing it at the living kingdom, letting it split into raindrops and shred everything that gets in its path, breaking through the barrier once more, as well as severely injuring the people on the shell. Harvard would have his jaw and one of his arms torn off during such shredding, being nothing left than bone, cleaned to perfection. He'd be quick to regrow his arm and have a spell prepared, as the City tried to retaliate back with the Sun's rays, letting it charge the beast and hold it at the Island Hand's palms.
The Umibozu would anticipate the attack, leaning backwards and parting the seas as Khepros would try to blast it down in a white, hot light, seeing the water evaporate before the populace's eyes. Even though such a creature was downed, because of the Walking City being on such land, it provided the Sea Monk the perfect opportunity to attack, letting the water convulse around it, crushing it back down, changing the water to hands in order to drag it down and pummel it as much as it could. The Islands that made up its arms were being eroded the more the ocean abused such a prosperous kingdom, buildings quickly being toppled, storms being kicked up, catching the harsh winds to trap the city further. Stolas and Zazel would try to retaliate, with more stars being made and the Sigil of Stolas summoning such a behemoth, if anything than to buy them time. A barrier was made around the outer shell to block off the excess water, letting the civilians filter it out and bring Khepros back on its feet. The Umibozu, however, would merely part his body and catch the Summoned Demon with it, using the intense pressure to break its arms and face down, its fingers twitching as it turns back into energy. "How are we going to kill this thing?! As long as we're in the ocean, we're screwed!" Zazel would ask as he'd be horrified by how easily it was able to defeat such a beast.
"It's weak to heat, still. We got SOME form of an answer..." Stolas would state, pausing himself as he'd look around the city's people being desperate to fix their broken land. Solomon took notice and got to work on an idea.
"Stolas, make some more stars for me. I want to try something." He asked, as he'd let Shady take shape thanks to the light. The Avian noticed his shadow and came into the same conclusion, nodding as he'd make more constellations, tapping into the energy within the city to multiply it without needing to burn out his own reserves. In a few minutes, the once lustrous land became swarmed with such constellations: Draco, Pisces, Aquarius, Orion, Corvus. Any constellation that acted as a massive body or can do such flight would take to the skies, their radiance illuminating everyone, their heat wearing down the Umibozu for only a moment. Solomon smirked at seeing such brightness as he'd begin to let Shady take over the water, more specifically at the new shadow being made. The Sea Monk noticed this and would try to attack in order to prevent it, but once such shadows connected, the City would sink down into its darkened depths, unable to be touched by normal means. Instead, it would have the ocean invade as it was leaving, flooding the shadow, trying to ensure some part of itself reaches into the other side in order to attack back.
Its howl was enough of a sign to the people of Khepros that it was getting angrier by the second.
