In a split second, Basileus was on top of Armis. His forearm was holding her down by her chest and his other hand was over her mouth, preventing her from screaming.
Rather than being scared, she was pissed. Her pink eyes glared at him with a fury that rivaled the Basillian prince's.
For a moment she struggled but it wasn't hard to tell that her strength was nothing in comparison to his.
"If I take my hand off your mouth and you scream, I'm going to kill you," he said between clenched teeth.
He was bluffing.
After all the time he spent on the deserted planet surrounded by nothingness, he started to have a different view of life and its importance. He swore that he would never kill anyone else unless it was out of self-defense, a means to protect someone he loved, or if it was the former emperor.
