Today, Lu Daiyu brought Su Mo to meet his new manager.
"Miss Tang is expecting you," the assistant said, emerging from the office. "Please, come inside."
Lu Daiyu stood up, placed a reassuring hand on Su Mo's back, and whispered, "Don't be nervous, Sister Tang is a kind and understanding person."
The assistant paused, surprised. He couldn't imagine anyone describing Tang Aihan as "gentle."
Just then, a stern, icy female voice echoed from within the room, sending a chill through the air.
"I warned you those shortcuts would lead to a dead end," Tang Aihan's voice cut through the silence. "But you refused to listen. Now, face the consequences. The company has decided to terminate your contract."
Lu Daiyu hesitated outside the door, unsure whether to enter or wait for the storm to pass. Su Mo gently knocked, and a cold voice responded, "Come in."
Lu Daiyu exchanged a glance with Su Mo, who seemed unfazed by the tense atmosphere. He walked into the room, followed by Lu Daiyu.
