Tears fall before words.
As Saidev heard the voice coming through the handset, he opened his mouth to speak but before he could say anything, tears began streaming down his eyes.
Gao Yang stood up, patted Saidev on the shoulder, and said in a low voice, "Don't rush, take your time."

When Saidev uttered his first words with a hoarse voice, Gao Yang walked away, sitting on the ground around thirty or forty meters from Saidev, waiting patiently.
Gao Yang began to feel homesick too, sitting there alone, recalling every little detail about his home and the taste of dumplings.
