David groaned as he opened his eyes. The ceiling above him wasn't the plain one from his bedroom—it was ornate, gilded with golden patterns. He sat up quickly and looked around. The room was spacious, adorned with velvet curtains, luxurious furniture, and a large mirror standing in the corner.
"What the hell...?"
He jumped out of bed and stumbled to the mirror. What he saw made him gasp.
The reflection wasn't his. The boy in the mirror had silky black hair and piercing blue eyes. His features were noble, regal even—but familiar. Too familiar.
"No way... this is David Garnaz," he whispered in disbelief.
David Garnaz was a minor character from "Genius Swordsman," a noble born into the prestigious Garnaz family. He was ridiculed in the story for his inability to use a sword or magic properly. A failure. A side character with no future.
"I'm dreaming. This has to be a dream."
But it wasn't. As if to prove otherwise, a chime echoed in his ears, and a blue screen appeared before his eyes.

Before he could process further, the door burst open. A beautiful woman in her late thirties rushed in. Her eyes—sharp, like an eagle's—narrowed at him.
"David, you're finally awake! Get dressed. You're being sent to the Silvermoon Academy of Magic. Maybe they'll be able to fix your incompetence."
He stared, speechless. This was Lady Selene Garnaz—his new mother.
"Uh... okay?"
