Chapter 1 - The Silent Storm

The conference room of Black Forge Arms Co. was a fortress of cold steel and tension. Frosted glass walls. A long black marble table. No warmth. No art. Just silence thick enough to choke.

Eight chairs. Eight people. And one empty seat—at the head of the table.

The clock ticked.

The atmosphere inside was restless, even dangerous. These were not ordinary employees. They were the core committee—the backbone of Black Forge, the company that built weapons deadlier than war itself.

Their names were:

1. Kabir Sethi – Chief of Operations

2. Anika Roy – Head of Legal Affairs

3. Zoravar Khan – Head of Global Exports

4. Mira Fernandes – Chief Financial Officer

5. Armaan Khurana – Logistics Director

6. Devika Rawat – International Trade Analyst

7. Aakash Malhotra – Intelligence & Surveillance Lead

8. Rahul Vaidya – Security Chief

And they were in the middle of a storm.

---

Kabir (slamming a file on the table):

"This report says we've been exporting modified rifles to foreign territories that are under arms embargo. Who approved this?"

Zoravar (defensive):

"We've followed all protocols. If something slipped through, it's not on me."

Anika (coldly):

"Then who is it on, Zoravar? Because this kind of export doesn't 'slip through.' Someone signed it off."

Rahul (growling):

"We're risking everything. If the government finds out, Black Forge will be blacklisted. We'll all go down."

Devika (anxious):

"This could trigger an international scandal. These weapons were traced in a rebel camp. Do you understand the consequences?"

Mira (looking around):

"Someone in this room is responsible."

Zoravar (suddenly pointing):

"It was Aakash! He handles surveillance. If this happened under his nose, he either let it slide or helped it happen!"

Aakash (shocked):

"What the hell? Are you insane?! I've been tracking our shipments day and night!"

Armaan (angrily):

"Enough! Pointing fingers won't solve this!"

Everyone fell into uneasy silence.

No one dared to speak again. The tension clawed at their throats. Eyes shifted, breaths slowed. Every second felt heavier than the last.

Rahul checked the time.

Kabir tapped his pen nervously.

Devika fidgeted with the hem of her blazer.

They all knew what was coming.

Because when chaos reached this level… he always came.

---

Outside the towering steel walls of Black Forge Arms Co., the night wind howled like a warning. The company's logo—a black wolf's head—glowed faintly above the building, watching like a silent predator. Inside, the lights were cold. The corridors quieter than a morgue.

And then—

The sound of an engine. A matte black Maybach glided into the underground parking, tires whispering against polished stone.

Reyansh Oberoi stepped out. Black suit. Black gloves. His steps are precise. His face is unreadable. Two bodyguards flanked him, but they didn't speak. No one did. They feared even his silence.

He walked through the private elevator, eyes on the floor numbers.

Ding.

Top floor. The conference room.

A deadly silence fell.

Then—

The door creaked open.

Black boots stepped onto the marble floor.

Reyansh Oberoi had arrived.

The CEO.

The ghost in a tailored black suit.

Cold eyes. Silent presence.

And the room froze.

He walked in slowly, each step echoing like a warning. He didn't speak. He didn't blink. He simply walked to the head of the table and sat down.

Narrator:

Reyansh Oberoi didn't waste time. He didn't care about feelings. He didn't believe in second chances. To betray his company was to sign your death sentence.

---

Reyansh (voice calm but sharp):

"I heard... we have a traitor."

Everyone stayed quiet. No one dared to meet his eyes.

Reyansh (looking at Zoravar):

"Zoravar. You seem eager to speak. Accusing Aakash without proof?"

Zoravar (hesitating):

"I—I just thought—"

Reyansh (cutting him off):

"Don't think. You're not paid to think. You're paid to obey."

Reyansh pulled out a black tablet, tapped once, and placed it in the center of the table.

A video played.

Shipping containers. Custom seals broken. Zoravar's signature on forged documents. A voice recording—Zoravar's voice, making a deal with an arms broker from a sanctioned country.

The proof was undeniable.

Gasps filled the room.

Zoravar (panicking):

"Wait—this is fake—someone set me up—"

Reyansh (coldly):

"You set yourself up. You sold out Black Forge. You put every life in this room at risk."

He stood up. Walked around the table.

Stopped behind Zoravar.

Reyansh (leaning in):

"You think this company is a business? It's a machine. A weapon. You tried to break it."

Zoravar:

"Please... don't do this—"

Reyansh (whispering in his ear):

"If you ever speak my name again... I'll erase yours from this world."

---

Zoravar's face turned white.

Reyansh walked back to his seat.

Kabir (quietly):

"Sir... what should we do with him?"

Reyansh (without blinking):

"Anyone who betrays Black Forge Arms... will be erased. No trace. No body. No mercy."

Narrator:

The committee understood the message. This was not just a company. It was a kingdom. And Reyansh Oberoi was its king. Ruthless. Unforgiving. And absolutely in control.

Zoravar was taken away.

And the meeting continued. As if nothing had happened.

But deep inside each member, a seed of fear had been planted.

And fear... was how Reyansh ruled.
