Chapter 1 - The meeting

Two Alphas In this world, being an Alpha meant power, control, respect. But that was only true if you followed the rules. And the first rule was clear: an Alpha doesn't get attached to another Alpha.

Downtown Tokyo was a mirror of modernity, wealth, and hypocrisy. Behind the immaculate facades of the buildings, the old biological laws still silently reigned. In this ultra-hierarchical society, the Alpha-Omega dynamic remained sacred, indisputable. Even Betas had a role. But two Alphas together... that was an anomaly.

Aru got out of his luxury car, the headlights silently turning off behind him. He adjusted his black jacket over his charcoal shirt. Sober, discreet, elegant. As always. He wasn't as rich as some, but he was part of that silent minority who owned more than they showed. His cybersecurity company placed him at the heart of several major financial networks. He didn't like attracting attention. He preferred the observer.

Tonight, however, he's going to a private party. A modern art exhibition in a high-rise gallery, reserved for the city's elite. One of those places where the most powerful pretend to love art so they can spy on each other better. Aru wasn't going out of passion. He was going because he knew Kio would be there.

Kio Ryuu , Heir to a tech empire. Prodigal son turned provocative artist. Everything he did was watched, commented on, and thought about. His name was synonymous with excess. He obeyed nothing. Not even his nature. He was there, of course. Surrounded by a small circle, wearing a slightly open white silk shirt, a glass of red wine in his hand. His laughter cut through the air like a gentle blade. He dominated the room without even trying. And when his eyes met Aru's... everything went silent. Aru felt his stomach clench. A strange sensation. Instinctive. Almost animal. He approached. Slowly. Until he was only a few steps away.

"You're quieter than I thought,"

Kio said, his voice deep and low, full of light irony.

"And you, more visible than I expected,"

Aru replied calmly. Kio smiled. The kind of smile you don't make. He took a step closer, matching the distance.

"Do you know what you risk talking to me like that here, between Alphas? There are greetings everywhere."

" I'm not here for them."

" Are you here for me?"

Aru maintained his respect. He didn't answer right away. There was a strange tension in the air. No hostility. No desire yet either. Just an instinctive recognition. Two beasts in the same cage.

" I'm here because I want to understand why you're causing such a stir."

Kio bowed slightly, amused. Then, without warning, he slipped in a few words, almost whispered:

"So stay a little longer. And I'll show you."

Aru didn't move. He knew that if he accepted this veiled invitation, he would be entering dangerous territory. But it was already too late. He was trapped by that look, that smile, that presence. And he didn't want to go anymore.

And They no longer wanted to run away.

" You shouldn't be here"

Kio said calmly, a glass of whiskey in his hand. Aru turned his head slightly, without taking his eyes off the city.

"You invited me"

he replied.

"I invited you to try something out. I didn't think you'd come. "

Kio moved forward, slowly, until he stopped right behind him. The air seemed thicker around them. Two Alphas in the same room, alone, was rare... risky.

"You know what people would say if they saw us here"

Kio murmured, his low voice sliding against the back of Aru's neck.

"That we're a mistake of nature. A walking scandal. Two dominants together... It's heresy to them. And to you?"

Aru closed his eyes for a moment, inhaling deeply. Then he turned away.

"To me, this is the only thing that's made sense in months."

Their greetings met. It was as if the air was ignited between them. Kio gently places his glass on a nearby table, then moves closer, until their chests are brushing.

" You're looking at me all evening " he says.

" You too."

Kio takes a hand and touches Aru's cheek. The touch was soft, almost tender, counter to the rising tension. Aru shivered in spite of himself. There was no omega scent here. No sweet pheromone to intoxicate them. Just them. Two pure forces. Two raw desires.

They kissed without warning. It was rude. Hurried. Almost violent. Kio took a step back, grabbed Aru's jacket, and pulled him towards him. Aru followed him without resisting, his hands already slipped under Kio's shirt. They fell onto the sofa. Clothes fell off quickly. Bodies uncovered, skin against skin, muscles tense. Neither of them wanted to give in, but neither wanted to back down. This wasn't a dominator's fight. It was a forbidden fusion. Kio traced the line of Aru's torso with his fingertips, his eyes shining with a mixture of desire and provocation.

" What do you do when you lose control? "

he demanded in a low voice.

" I surrender to those who are worthy "

Aru replied, breathless. Their bodies united in a wave of heat. Their moans melted into the sheets, the cushions, the night. They no longer thought about anything. Not about laws. Not about greetings. Not about what they were risking. Just the moment. Just each other. When everything had settled, they lay there, side by side.

Breathing slowly. Their hearts still beating too fast. Kio broke the silence, his voice tired but sincere:

" If anyone finds out about this... we're finished "

Aru turned her head towards him. Her eyes had never been calmer.

" Then we'll have to give them a good reason to bring us down. "
