The story begins in a world where people are granted blessings from God. These blessings vary greatly, with some individuals possessing weak abilities while others wield immense power.
Our main character, Austin, is a normal boy. He shares a childhood friendship with Sasha, the daughter of the noble of their town.
Their first meeting occurred when Austin was desperately searching for something to eat on the roadside. Sasha's carriage was passing through the town at that moment. Possessing a naturally helpful personality and exhibiting qualities akin to a king, Sasha noticed Austin's plight.
She instructed her carriage to stop and brought Austin back to her home. There, she offered him food. As he ate, Sasha inquired, "Don't you have a family?"
With a sad expression, the boy replied, "No."
Then, Sasha asked, "What is your blessing?"
Austin responded, "I can turn into a dog."
Sasha responded to Austin's revelation of his blessing with a heartfelt expression of sympathy. "I feel sad for you," she said softly.
Austin then asked Sasha about her own divine gift. "What is your blessing?"
With a hint of pride, Sasha replied, "I have the ability to use anything as a blade."
The young boy was impressed by this revelation.
Years passed. Austin grew into a young man of twenty, while Sasha turned into a twenty-one-year-old woman. With the passage of time, their childhood friendship deepened, evolving into a tender and profound love. The following day, the 15th of March, they were to be married.
Sasha sat in her room, radiating happiness. However, her maid, observing her mistress's joy, voiced a question that cast a slight shadow. "My lady, was your father truly happy about this wedding? Wasn't he prepared to marry you to another noble just last month?"
Sasha's smile softened slightly as she replied, "I pleaded with him incessantly, and he eventually agreed because he has grown fond of Austin. However," she continued, a hint of resolve in her voice, "he did not agree to make him his heir, citing Austin's less powerful blessing."
Her maid then inquired, "Who will become the heir after your father's death? Didn't your brother pass away last year due to sickness?"
Sasha's expression turned indifferent as she stated, "That isn't my problem, not after he refused to make Austin his heir."
