Chapter 25 - Pay Back the Blood Debt You Owe Our Race

Russell was greatly surprised.

Logically, each time the Flaxan invaded, they were wiped out by him. With such cruel setbacks, shouldn't the Flaxan have delayed their plan to attack Earth?

Why do they seem more radical and aggressive than in the original plot?

"Could it be that in the original plot, the Flaxan believed 'the advantage is ours', so their offensive was neither rushed nor slow, but now after two bloody invasions of Earth, they've become anxious and are hastily trying to figure out how strong Earth truly is?"

Russell went to change into his newly made battle suit and flew towards the city center with Mark. He glanced back, saw the slightly arguing couple, and flew towards the horizon.

"Nolan, why aren't you going? The city needs you." Aunt Debbie at home asked her husband, Omni-Man, to also go and check, lest the two children have an accident.

Having watched the news these past few days, she also knew how formidable the Flaxen were.

"I need to have a serious talk with You about Mark's schooling." Nolan stood firm, arms crossed.

"You... Nolan, You..."

Aunt Debbie was furious.

...

Downtown Chicago.

This time, having learned from experience, when the citizens mourning in the square saw the void crack open with an orange-red halo, they immediately fled for their lives, but they still couldn't outrun the lasers.

This time, three interdimensional portals descended together, and the Flaxan army poured out of the portals like a tide, slaughtering everyone they saw.

The laser rifles they carried were even more powerful, having clearly evolved into something like death rays. When they hit a human body, they no longer just pierced through but directly burned it into a charred lump.

Splat!

Over a dozen tanks rolled in, and a giant steel foot crushed a man who couldn't escape in time into a pulp. The three-meter-tall white mecha figure stepped over him as if merely crushing an ant, looking around disdainfully.

"There's some bad news, everyone..."

The Teen Team received the alarm and rushed over. Robot, riding a hoverbike, scanned the laser guns and tanks in the hands of the Flaxan from afar.

As expected, there had been several more technological iterations, reaching a point that Earth's technology could hardly hope to match.

"Their numbers are too great, and their technology is too advanced. We can no longer contend with them..."

"Oh, is there any new information? Robot, do You even need to say that?" Rex-Splode sitting behind Robot on the hoverbike, said dismissively.

When has a Flaxan invasion ever had sparse numbers and outdated equipment?

"Does that mean we just don't fight if we can't win?"

When he scanned the tall mecha figure filled with oppressive power, and its energy index directly went off the charts, even the usually calm Robot couldn't help but be momentarily stunned.

"I've already contacted Invincible, and he'll be here soon with his Cousin, Infinitoid." Eve, flying nearby, tilted her head and encouraged her teammates.

"No, this time is different, Eve.

Did You see that mecha?"

Among the large army, that tall white mecha, its three-meter-tall pure white armor gleaming with the cold light of alloy in the setting sun, its streamlined shell without any seams or rivets, seemed forged from a single piece of cold steel.

Its faceplate was a single piece of curved, obsidian-like crystal, with no visible eyepieces or sensors, only a darkness that swallowed light.

The army, like a tide, surged past him to capture the streets.

Only he stood still, arms crossed, like a majestic and cold steel god, as if specifically waiting for his prey to appear.

"The energy index it emits every moment is comparable to a nuclear explosion.

This time, even Invincible and Infinitoid probably can't stop it!"

"Let's assume this city is lost. I'll contact Global Defense Agency Director Fury to immediately prepare nuclear bombs." Robot regained his composure, speaking in a calm, almost emotionless mechanical voice.

This was the most rational and restrained method available.

"No, there are still millions of citizens here. We can't abandon them." Eve frowned tightly, unwilling to retreat before fighting.

"Look quickly, Invincible is here! Is that person next to him Infinitoid?" Dupli-Kate, also sitting on the hoverbike, pointed towards the sky above the battlefield.

Two cloaked figures suddenly appeared with speed invisible to the naked eye.

One was Invincible, whom they knew.

The other wore a cloaked battle suit with black as the main color, appearing cold and majestic, his cloak billowing like a robe, and on his chest, a symbol representing infinity seemed branded onto a layer of fresh blood, emitting a powerful sense of oppression.

"It's him. That symbol is ∞. He's changed into a different battle suit." Robot scanned Russell's height, arm length, and other data, recognizing him immediately.

"Here You come, Earthling!"

The Flaxan General, wearing white armor, looked up. From the data refreshed in the mecha cabin's holographic display, he also recognized Russell.

He slowly lowered his arms, like a hunter about to begin his hunt, a sinister smile appearing on his face.

"You, the murderer who caused our race's army to be completely annihilated twice, I will pilot this ultimate mecha, built with the combined strength of our race, to end You!"

Seeing that some people in the square hadn't evacuated yet, Mark immediately swooped down to rescue them. Russell was also about to move, but saw a figure stomp the ground, suddenly attacking like lightning, swinging a fist at him.

Bang!

Russell raised his hand to block, but the next second, caught off guard, it felt like a mountain suddenly crashed into him. The airwave exploded, sending Mark flying and shattering the surrounding skyscraper glass, which rained down.

He was violently blasted away, plowing a dozens-of-meters-long deep trench in the asphalt road before lying at the end.

Smoke and dust filled the air all the way!

Bang!

"Cousin!" Mark was startled and angrily punched the mecha, but unexpectedly the white mecha raised its hand and caught it. With Mark's strength, he couldn't even overpower it.

Mark was greatly surprised.

"Get lost!" A cold electronic voice came from inside the mecha. The Flaxan General, piloting the ultimate mecha, grabbed Mark and threw him away.

Mark was sent flying towards the horizon, like a baseball hit, piercing through two skyscrapers.

Afterward, the Flaxan General didn't even glance at him and went straight for Russell.

Buzz!

Mach rings propelled flames sprayed from behind him. The Flaxan General pushed the control stick, intending to pursue Russell on the ground while the advantage was his.

"Pay back the blood debt You owe our race, monster!"

His massive mecha body suddenly plunged into the smoke and dust. The strong wind carried by his body swept the smoke and dust away, and his giant steel fist struck the air, creating flames, like a falling meteor.

"Are You the weapon the Flaxan prepared this time to deal with me?"

Russell raised a hand to catch the opponent's attack, which carried terrifying power. The force of the man and Robot clashing caused the ground to collapse and crack layer by layer, with fissures spreading dozens of meters across the ground.

A milky white airwave violently exploded, sweeping the surroundings, and the cypress trees along the roads were instantly snapped by Impact.

"You actually caught the ultimate mecha's fist?" The Flaxan General's electronic voice carried a hint of shock. "According to our race's assessment of You, the ultimate mecha's power is far above Yours!"

Their race had a time advantage, with generations dedicated to this, pooling their global strength to build this ultimate mecha, originally intended to easily wipe out the guy who had hindered their advance twice.

"These past few days, my abilities just happened to have grown a bit." Russell chuckled lightly, pulled back his right fist, his muscle fibers tightening like steel cables, and violently smashed it into the ultimate mecha's chest.
