Chapter 1 - The Reign of Rebirth

In the heart of the sprawling metropolis of New Haven, there stood the imposing Evergreen Manor, home to the influential Blackwood family. At the center of this labyrinthine mansion was Alexander Blackwood, a prodigious young man with a mind sharper than the finest blade and a spirit unyielding as steel. Born with an innate talent for business and leadership, he was destined for greatness, a fact acknowledged by all who knew him.

However, fate had a cruel twist in store for Alexander. Behind the gilded facade of the Blackwood family lay a web of deceit, betrayal, and favoritism. His parents, Richard and Elizabeth Blackwood, doted on his younger brother, Ethan, showering him with love, attention, and opportunities while relegating Alexander to the shadows. From a young age, Alexander was treated as an outsider in his own home, tasked with menial chores such as laundry, cleaning, and cooking while Ethan was groomed to inherit the family empire.

Despite the unfair treatment, Alexander remained steadfast in his pursuit of excellence. He poured his heart and soul into his studies, excelling in school and earning a full scholarship to the prestigious Harvard University. While at Harvard, he honed his business acumen, developing innovative ideas and strategies that would have propelled the Blackwood Corporation to new heights.

But just as Alexander was on the verge of achieving his dreams, his world came crashing down around him. On the night of his graduation, he returned home to find his family gathered in the living room, their faces filled with malice and contempt. Without warning, his parents and Ethan launched a vicious attack on him, beating him mercilessly with their fists and feet. Alexander fought back with all his might, but he was outnumbered and overpowered. In the end, he was left broken and bleeding on the floor, his dreams of a bright future shattered.
