Synopsis
Have you ever felt that something is hiding behind the walls of reality? That the world as we see it is nothing more than a fragile shell, beneath which twist places that should not exist? Places beyond time, beyond logic... and beyond salvation? This is not a science fiction tale, nor a nightmare spun by the mind, but the testimony of a man who vanished without being lost, who left the world without anyone seeing him go. Kayleth Müller, an ordinary young man in his twenties, lived a simple life with his small family: a caring father, a loving mother, and a little sister who never let go of his hand. He was not a hero, nor a criminal—just a human being... until the moment his feet slipped into something known only as "The Backrooms." In a fleeting instant, he found himself in a world without meaning, without exit, where everything feels familiar... in all the wrong ways. Fluorescent lights buzz in a suffocating silence, yellow walls repeat endlessly, and corridors stretch forever, seemingly designed to slowly unravel your mind. This is not just a quest for escape, but a fight for survival—and a discovery of what the void hides when it dares to speak. Welcome to the Backrooms... where a glitch in reality may be the beginning of the end.

Chapter 1 - Life before noclip

On a beautiful early morning, where birds chirped cheerfully and the joyful sounds of the neighborhood could be heard, golden rays of sunlight gently filtered through the window of a young man sleeping deeply.

After some time, the young man—who appeared to be in his twenties, with black hair, dark eyes, a sharp jawline, and finely defined features—slowly awoke.

At first glance, one would describe him as nothing short of incredibly handsome.

He rose from his bed and made his way toward the bathroom just across from his room.

Turning on the faucet, he splashed water on his tired face, revealing the dark circles under his eyes—a clear sign of exhaustion and lack of sleep.

After drying his face with a towel nearby, a soft, gentle voice called out from downstairs:

"Kael, come down for breakfast!"

He replied, "Coming, Mom."

That was the voice of his mother, letting him know breakfast was ready.

Kaelith Muller descended the stairs in response to his mother's call—her name was Susan.

As soon as he reached the bottom, a little girl no older than ten, with blonde hair and blue eyes, ran up and hugged him affectionately. It was his younger sister, Lily, full of love and warmth toward her older brother. She took his hand and pulled him toward the dining table, which was filled with delicious dishes.

Seated at the table was a man with black hair and eyes, his serious features suggesting he was in his early fifties. His name was Carlos Muller, a carpenter by trade, who had always worked hard to provide for his family.

He looked at Kael and said,

"Good morning, son."

"Good morning, Dad," Kael replied.

"So, how are things at work? You look very tired. Don't they give you at least one day off?"

His father asked, clearly concerned.

Kael responded with a tone of sadness and fatigue, yet wore a smile to avoid worrying his family.

"Well, you know how our work is. It takes a lot of effort."

Kael worked at a small company specializing in cybersecurity.

Shortly after, his mother—elegant, with a well-proportioned figure, blonde hair, and striking blue eyes—entered the room, placing the remaining dishes on the table. Her appearance suggested she was in her forties.

Despite their simple life, the Muller family had special traditions: Sunday breakfasts together, park outings, and game nights that filled the house with laughter.

After breakfast, Kael got ready for work, and the routine continued for several days.

But on one gray day, everything changed.

Kaelith was returning from work when he entered an abandoned building. He had been assigned to inspect some old servers stored there. As he wandered the gloomy corridors, he sensed something strange… a slight tremor in the floor, a flickering light—

And then, suddenly—he fell.

It wasn't a normal fall. It was as if the very walls had swallowed him whole.

He woke up in a place unlike anything he'd ever known.

Yellow walls. Harsh, buzzing fluorescent lights. Low ceilings. The floor covered in damp, musty carpet as though soaked in the waters of oblivion. No windows. No familiar doors. Just… endless, winding hallways.

He had slipped into The Backrooms.
