The alpha turned to Evan and sees him fuming in anger and the look in his eyes his terrifying.
"You have to tell them to let me go" Evan said angrily as he was held to the ground.
"Promise me, you will stop attacking my people" the alpha demanded.
"Fine, I Promise" Evan said reluctantly.
"Let him go" he ordered and they released him.
He stood up fuming in anger and glaring at each one of them in the eye then turned to the alpha.
"If you want to be part of this family, there are some things you need to understand" the alpha said.
"Family? You called this family?"
"No, it's not. This is a terrorist family, a murdering family"
"You just ordered the death of my friend whom you don't even know anything about"
"If this is the kind of family you wanted me in then I'm sorry, I want no part in this shitty family of yours" Evan said turning to leave.
"You can't leave boy, the moon will be up very soon and your first transformation will begin" the alpha said and he stopped.
"There are some things you need to do before your transformation" he added.
"I don't care about your ceremony or anything that has to do with you people" Evan replied.
"Whether you like it or not, we are the only one that can help you. You can't complete the transformation on your own" the alpha said.
"I don't need your help" Evan said then he ran off.
"Should we go after him?" one of the men asked.
"Don't bother, he already made his choice. Let's prepare the others for the ceremony" the alpha replied.

Evan ran away without having a clue to where he was heading but he was hoping to see a car to take him back to the city.
He pulled out his phone and dialed his father's number and after a few rings he picked up.
"Hey son, this is not the right time to be calling" his father said immediately he answered.
"Dad, do you plan on hiding this from me?" Evan asked.
"What are you talking about?" John asked back.
"Oh please dad, you've been hiding everything from me from the beginning but I never expected you to go along with this"
"You were ordered to Kill Kate. If they don't know who she is, you do"
"How could you do this?" Evan said.
"Calm down son, you have no idea what's going on or the threat we faced"
"I don't know she's involved in any of these until a few hours ago" John replied.
"How could you even go along with it in the first place, you were ordered to kill an innocent person" Evan said.
"Is this the kind of group you want me to associate myself with?" he added.
"Like I said son, the situation on ground is more difficult than you could possibly think of"
"There's a threat to our very existence. Not just us but the vampires as well"
"The vampires are looking for her and her family as we speak. Their only chance of surviving is if we get to them first" John said.
"Kira said she killed her, is that true?" Evan asked.
"I don't know. We are here at the location to confirm that, let's hope it's not true" John replied.
"Will you really kill her if things went south?" he asked.
"I don't know but I know I'll do what's better for everyone" John replied.
"I'll call you back" he added then ended the call.
Immediately the call was disconnected, Evan quickly scrolled through his phone and dialed Kate's number but was unreachable.
He tried a few more times and got the same reply then decided to call Abby which started ringing immediately.
"Hey Evan" she said immediate she answered.
"Abby, where's Kate? I've been trying to reach her but wasn't reachable" Evan said.
"Yeah, us too" she replied.
"What's going on over there?" He asked.
"Just a few hours ago, she enraged Kira and her gang and they all went into the woods together"
"We haven't seen any of them. We are starting to get worried" she added. Evan was scared the information he heard about Kate might be true.
"Go out now and go look for her, she might need help" Evan said.
"Okay…Okay" she replied and quickly disconnected the call.

Kate's friend, Emily and Abby left the building they are and went out looking for Kate. They are really worried about when she hasn't returned for hours neither has Kira and her gang.
They couldn't wait any longer so they came out especially after speaking with Evan. They were in the woods calling out her name but got no reply.
They took some steps further and they could hear some steps approaching them and they stopped.
They stopped and look around then they saw some people, at first they were shock but then they saw a familiar face and they were relieved.
"It's Evans dad" Emily said with a relief.
"Yeah, but what's he doing here?" Abby said in surprise.
"Good evening, Mr. Blake" they greeted.
"Hey girls, what are you two doing out here?" John asked.
"We came here for our school experiment, Evan was supposed to be here as well" Emily replied.
"Yeah he told me but he couldn't come. But what are you doing out here alone?" John asked.
"Actually, Kate has been gone for hours and we came to check on her" Abby replied.
"Alone? Did she say where she was heading?" John asked.
"Not really, she had an argument with some of our course mates and she came here" Emily explained.
"Have you tried her line?" he asked again.
"Yes we did but it wasn't reachable so we tried to come see what's going on" Emily said.
"We just talked to Evan a few minutes ago" she added.
"Really? What did he say?" he asked.
"Nothing much, just that he sound worried" Abby replied.
"You know what girls, why don't you go back inside while we check it out"
"It's dangerous for you girls to be out here alone. We will send her your way if we find her" John said.
"Okay sir but what are you doing here anyways?" Abby asked.
"Oh yeah, my team and I have a work to do around this area. Just go girls, we will look around for her" John explained.
"Okay sir, Thank you" they replied and they left.
"I smell blood, lot of it" Ben said to him immediately the girls left.
"Yeah, me too. We have to go now" John and they started running to where the smell is coming from.
They ran for a while till they got to the cliff and when they look down from the cliff, they saw a patch of blood on the ground but found no one.
"C'mon let's get down there" John said and they jumped from the cliff to the ground.
"It's the girl's" Ben replied.
"That means she's still alive" John said with a relief.
"She's wounded and probably couldn't have gone that far, we can still trace her scent" John added.
"How about we consider the fact that the vampires go here before us and could've taken her" Ben said.
"We don't know that for sure and we can't assume that, there's a chance that she's still out there and we have to find her" John replied.
"Fine then let's not waste anymore minute" Ben said and they left the place running tracing her scent.

Chris Williams was driving as fast as he could trying to reach the location on time. His wife Linda was on the lookout beside him looking if they are being followed.
"It's getting dark. How much longer?" Linda asked.
"We're almost there" Chris replied as he keeps driving.
"Have you tried to reach Kate yet?" he asked.
"I did but it's not reachable. I'm getting worried dear, what do you think is happening?" Linda asked.
"There's only one explanation, they knew about what we're about to do and they are trying to stop us" Chris said.
"But how?" she asked.
"I don't know which is why we have to get to this place on time" Chris said.
"I already contacted Mason's school and he's safe right there but I couldn't get to Kate"
"I tried her friend and they said they were together and now couldn't find her"
"Do you think they've gotten to Kate?"
"Do you think she's in trouble?" She asked with fear written all over her face.
"Don't worry about her; she can take care of herself. We just need to get to the hunter on time" Chris replied.
Linda lookout through the window and saw something very fast move past them.
"Oh shit" she said in shock.
"What was that?" Chris asked.
"Oh no no no" she muttered.
"Talk to me" he said turning to her.
"Vampires…the sun is down. The vampires are onto us" she said.
"What! But...how?" he said confusedly.
"WATCH OUT" Linda screamed at him pointing to the road.
Unfortunately he wasn't fast enough to react before they collided with a tree blocking the road. Their car summersaulted multiple times.
