Chapter 6 - Quantum Photonic Technology

The next day,

Finn woke up early in the morning. The first rays of sunlight streamed through his window, painting the room in a warm golden glow. The sky outside was a canvas of soft orange and pink, promising a beautiful day ahead.

He stretched, feeling the gentle warmth of the sun on his face, and took a deep breath, savoring the fresh morning air. For a moment, Finn simply watched the sunrise, letting the peacefulness of the moment fill him with quiet energy.

After a few minutes, he got out of bed and made his way to the bathroom. The cool tiles under his feet helped wake him up further. He picked up his toothbrush, squeezed out a line of minty toothpaste, and began brushing his teeth, his mind already drifting to the tasks and possibilities the new day would bring.

"Today, I will be building a 3D printer, a computer, and several photonic quantum servers in the hidden basement," he thought. "If even one of the technologies I currently possess is released onto the market without control, it could cause chaos."

"Oracle, rent me a lab where I can assemble this 3D atomic printer from the materials that should arrive within a few hours," Finn said as he started to undress for his shower.

"I have already done that, sir," Oracle replied.

"Mhm, then I'll be leaving for that location at 11. Prepare everything for me," Finn instructed as he turned on the shower, letting the cold water cascade over his head.

"Ouch! Ouch! So cold!" Finn thought as the icy water hit his shoulders.

After his shower, Finn left his room and walked down the corridor to the living area. He found Mark, his father, already awake and sitting on the couch, reading the newspaper and enjoying a cup of coffee. The warm sunlight streaming through the large glass wall behind the couch filled the room with a soothing glow.

"Good morning, Father," Finn greeted as he began brewing his own coffee.

"Good morning, son," Mark replied, handing Finn a section of the newspaper.

"Father, do you have a hobby or something you've always wanted to pursue?" Finn asked. His father wasn't that old yet, and Finn knew he wouldn't want to spend his days idly at home.

After a moment of thought, Mark replied, "I once wished to become a doctor, but now, given my age, that's no longer possible. I think I might start writing novels instead." He smiled at Finn and returned to his reading.

A doctor, huh... Finn knew his father had both the ambition and talent to become one, but due to the family's financial struggles, he had sacrificed his dreams for them. Now that Finn had access to advanced technology—some from civilizations that had even achieved godhood—he believed that extending human lifespan by a couple of centuries was possible. Finn silently vowed to help Mark achieve his dream one day. But for now, he needed strength—enough strength to pursue his goals without fear of exposing his technologies.

Later that morning, around 10 a.m., storage vans arrived with the materials Finn had ordered. Even this small amount of material had cost him ten million dollars. Finn wasn't surprised by the price; instead, he was impressed that Oracle had managed to secure such a good deal.

After signing the delivery contract, the ores and components were officially his. Finn called everyone to join him for breakfast in the dining hall, which was on the same floor as the master suite.

After breakfast, Finn called Falcon, who arrived with the car. They set off through the city streets, followed by a van carrying all the materials needed to build the 3D printer. Each ore was worth a fortune to the average person. With this 3D printer, many of Finn's problems regarding parts would soon be solved.

After three hours of driving, they arrived at the lab—a spacious facility in a small town outside New York. The lab was equipped with every tool Finn could possibly need.

Once the metals were unloaded from the van, Finn entered the lab and closed the doors behind him. The air inside was cool and filled with the faint scent of metal and machinery. Sunlight filtered through the high windows, illuminating the workbenches and shelves lined with precision instruments.

Without wasting any time, Finn began assembling the Quantum Photonic 3D Printer. He carefully laid out the rare ores and advanced components, each one essential for the printer's revolutionary design. The frame was constructed from a lightweight, ultra-strong alloy, while the core housed a photonic quantum processor—technology far beyond anything currently available on the market.

Finn worked methodically, connecting superconducting cables and aligning the photonic emitters with nanometer precision. The printer's heart was a lattice of quantum dots, capable of manipulating matter at the atomic level using streams of entangled photons. As he installed the control module, Finn marveled at the complexity and elegance of the system he was building.

Hours passed as Finn calibrated the printer's systems, running diagnostics and fine-tuning the quantum algorithms that would allow it to fabricate objects with unprecedented accuracy. The hum of machinery and the soft glow of quantum circuits filled the lab, a testament to the fusion of human ingenuity and advanced technology.

By evening, the Quantum Photonic 3D Printer stood completed—a sleek, futuristic machine ready to bring Finn's ideas to life. With this device, he could create components and devices that would have been impossible just days before.

Finn stepped back, wiping sweat from his brow, and allowed himself a moment of satisfaction. This was only the beginning. With the Quantum Photonic 3D Printer at his disposal, the future was wide open—and Finn was ready to shape it.

[...]

Finn admired the cool design that this printer had, it was a black box, various different pipes of white light going in and out from various angles inside of it. one could not even understand what this technology was. The printer was the same height as Finn, atleast 1.5 Cubic meter in volume.

the printer looked as if it directly came from a Sci Fi movie, all of the tools were broken as the printer was finished and the last tool was broken at the same time.

"it also comes with it's own Partical Disintegrator.", with this particle Disintegrator, Finn will be able to directly Fuel the 3D Printer with ores and print everything from the other side.

"Oracle, we need to rebuild these tools. Let's test out this 3D printer. I'm loading the broken parts of the machines—start printing them, and use the best blueprints you can find online," said Finn as he began collecting the broken tools scattered around the lab. He had broken nearly everything in the process of building the printer, so he decided to print new tools as compensation.

*Fwip* *Fwip* *Wooosh*

Suddenly, a series of mechanical sounds echoed through the lab. Within seconds, a tool Finn had broken emerged from the printer, its design far superior to the original.

After about five minutes of printing, the lab looked brand new. "This should do, I think. Oracle, call Falcon and the others to help load this machine into the van. I'm sure it will barely fit, but at least it will fit," Finn said as he began covering the printer with a large cloth, tying it securely. He wanted no one to know what had been created here. After all, this 3D printing technology would never be released to the public.

Soon, Falcon and two assistants arrived. With careful maneuvering, they managed to load the massive Quantum Photonic 3D Printer into the van. The drive back was tense, with everyone silent, aware of the importance of what they were transporting.

As they reached Finn's home, the sun was already setting, casting long shadows across the driveway. The security team opened the gates, and the van rolled into the private garage. Finn quickly checked the surroundings, making sure no one was watching.

"Bring the printer to the lift," Finn instructed. The group carefully wheeled the covered machine to a large, reinforced elevator at the back of the garage. The elevator was designed to carry heavy loads—perfect for this moment.

Finn stepped up to the control panel and entered a long, complex password. The display flashed green, and the doors slid open with a soft chime.

"Only I know this password," Finn reminded Oracle quietly. "No one else can access the basement."

"Understood, sir. Security protocols are in place," Oracle replied through his earpiece.

Everyone squeezed into the lift alongside the printer. As the doors closed, Finn pressed the button for the lowest level. The elevator hummed softly as it descended, carrying them deep beneath the house.

After a minute, the doors opened to reveal a vast, hidden basement—Finn's private workshop, although it didn't had anything but still had reinforced walls, along with a vast space with good ventilation and lights, there was nothing here.

The group brought the 3D printer inside and placed it carefully in a corner of the vast, empty basement. As the heavy footsteps faded and the elevator doors slid shut, Finn was finally alone with Oracle in his secret workshop.

He took a deep breath, feeling the cool, filtered air of the underground space. The reinforced walls and advanced security systems gave him a sense of absolute privacy—a sanctuary where he could work without fear of discovery.

"Oracle, it's time we build our—" Finn began.

"Quantum Photonic Servers and a Holographic Bench for you to work on, along with a private server accessible only to you," Oracle replied, her voice carrying a hint of excitement.

Finn smiled. "Exactly. Let's get started. Load the blueprints and begin printing the server racks first. We'll need a stable backbone before we move on to the more advanced systems."

"Understood, sir. Initializing fabrication sequence," Oracle responded.

The Quantum Photonic 3D Printer whirred to life, its internal lights pulsing as it began assembling the first server chassis. Layer by layer, the machine constructed the frame from exotic alloys, embedding photonic circuits and quantum processors with precision no human hand could match.

As the first server took shape, Finn walked around the basement, envisioning how the space would soon transform. He imagined rows of glowing servers, a central holographic workbench, and walls lined with advanced equipment—all powered by technology centuries ahead of its time.

"Oracle, how long until the first server is ready?" Finn asked, watching the printer work.

"Estimated time: twelve minutes for the initial server, sir. Subsequent units will be faster as the printer optimizes the process," Oracle replied.

Finn nodded, impressed. He sat on the floor, back against the cool concrete wall, and allowed himself a moment to reflect. Just days ago, he had been struggling with ordinary problems—now, he was on the verge of building a technological empire beneath his own home.

As the minutes passed, the printer finished the first server. Oracle's voice chimed in, "Server complete. Beginning assembly of the next unit."

Finn stood and approached the gleaming machine. He ran his hand along the smooth surface, feeling the hum of energy within. This was just the beginning.

"Let's keep going, Oracle. Tonight, we build the foundation for the future," Finn said, determination burning in his eyes.

The basement echoed with the sounds of creation as the Quantum Photonic 3D Printer continued its work, and Finn knew that with Oracle by his side, there were no limits to what they could achieve.
