Chapter 1 - The Fall

Chapter 1: The Majin Fall

The skies cracked open like a shattered mirror as black clouds swirled with ominous energy. From the heavens, monstrous figures descended like droplets of a cursed rain. These were not ordinary creatures—they were Majin Beasts, twisted abominations born of dark magic and ancient malice.

Standing at the edge of a towering obsidian spire overlooking the vast battlefield was Lord Akuma, the devilish and anti-human sovereign of the Majin. His crimson eyes glowed with malevolence as he surveyed the chaos unfolding below. The vast stretch of land that once belonged to the humans was now being overrun by his children.

He raised his arms to the stormy sky, welcoming the carnage.

"Heh… Yes," he whispered, a grin tearing across his face. "This is my perfect victory."

Then he laughed—cold and thunderous, the sound echoing across the battlefield like a drumbeat of death.

"I win…"

The newly-born Majins didn't need commands. As if driven by a shared instinct, they lunged at the human hunters, tearing through armor and flesh with terrifying ease. Steel clashed against claws, magic screamed through the air—but it was no use. The raid the humans had carefully planned was crumbling in minutes.

"Retreat! Retreat!" Commander Nagi bellowed over the sounds of slaughter, his voice desperate as he ran toward the border between Majin City and the human stronghold of Urokisaji. His soldiers, once brave and battle-hardened, scattered like leaves in a storm.

Among the chaos stood a lone boy—Yusa—barely thirteen, heart pounding in terror. He wasn't supposed to be here.

He had disobeyed his father's final command.

> "Don't look for me. I'll be back safe. But if I don't return… take care of your sister."

His father's warning echoed in his mind like a curse. But Yusa hadn't listened. He couldn't. His mother had died giving birth to him. His father and sister were all he had left in the world.

And so, that dreadful night, with nothing but resolve and a tear-streaked face, he'd run across the dark fields to the edge of the war-torn gate between cities.

Now, all he could do was watch as that very gate was ripped open, as men and women were swallowed whole by grotesque beasts with burning eyes and jagged fangs. Yusa's limbs refused to move. His breath came in short, ragged bursts. He was paralyzed by fear.

He saw familiar faces among the dying.

One in particular—Mikasa, a confident hunter who had once tousled Yusa's hair after a training session.

> "I'm the strongest. No one will ever beat me. Those Majins won't know what hit 'em," he'd said with a wink.

Now Mikasa knelt before a towering beast, his pride shattered. He begged—begged—for his life.

"Mikasa…?" Yusa whispered.

In a blink, the hunter's head was cleaved from his shoulders. Blood sprayed across the broken cobblestones. Yusa turned away, his stomach churning, bile rising to his throat.

Hunters were fleeing in every direction, ignoring the boy standing frozen in the heart of the massacre.

"Where's my dad?" he cried, trying to grab someone's sleeve. "Sir—please! Do you know my dad?"

No one answered. No one had time. The world was ending.

Then—he saw him.

Caught in the crushing grip of a Majin's claw was a tall man, battered and bleeding.

"Father!" Yusa screamed, eyes wide in horror.

His father looked at him, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth. Their eyes locked, and the man, barely conscious, whispered his final words.

> "Avenge me, Yusa… Protect your sister…"

Before he could say more, the Majin swung its claw—and Yusa's father was gone.

"NO!!!"

A hunter darted from the chaos and grabbed the boy, pulling him back toward the gate.

"He's gone… My father… he's—" Yusa sobbed, barely able to speak as the memory of that day played on a loop in his mind.

> "Dad, why are you always off fighting those… creatures? Why can't you stay home?" Yusa had asked once, small arms crossed, frowning.

> His father had crouched down, placed a hand on his head, and smiled. "I'm fighting to protect you and your sister. Because I love you both more than anything."

> "But you could die…"

> "I won't. I'll always be with you, Yusa."

He had lied.

Far above, inside a dark throne chamber carved from obsidian and bone, Lord Akuma sat upon a blackened throne. Before him knelt Krul, one of the original Majin Nobles, his silver hair glimmering in the low light.

"You did well, Krul," Akuma said with a nod. "Releasing Majin DNA into the atmosphere was… ingenious. The humans didn't stand a chance."

Krul gave a slight bow. "Thank you, my Lord. But the success was shared. Lord Gintama aided me in the refinement."

His face suddenly darkened.

"But… there's a problem."

Akuma narrowed his eyes. "Speak."

"We're running out of Majins. The humans may have lost this battle, but we lost nearly half our forces."

Akuma's smile vanished.

"What are you suggesting?" he asked cautiously.

Krul hesitated, then said, "We breed. With the humans."

Silence fell over the room. Even the other nobles stiffened.

"You're mad," Akuma said. "We don't know what might come from such… impurity."

Krul's eyes glinted with ambition. "Or we create something far superior. A new race. Stronger, faster—unstoppable. Majin-Human hybrids."

Akuma clenched his jaw, torn between disgust and curiosity.

"…Send the remaining troops," he finally said. "Capture every young maiden you find. Kill the rest."

Krul grinned, pushing his silver hair back. "Your wish is my command… Lordy."

At the surviving human outpost near the ruins of Urokisaji, Commander Nagi leaned over a table, his armor stained and cracked.

"We lost… Most of our top hunters are dead," he muttered.

His second-in-command, Gyutaro, nodded grimly. "At least we escaped. But we found Itadori's son. He was… in Majin City."

"What? A child? What was he doing there?"

"He was taken home. But he saw his father die."

Commander Nagi exhaled sharply, feeling the weight of the tragedy settle over him.

"That poor kid…"

Suddenly—a scream tore through the air.

"ARGHHH!"

Gyutaro rushed outside, only to freeze in place. His face turned pale as he returned.

Commander Nagi stood. "What is it?"

Gyutaro met his eyes.

"…It's the Majins."
