Chapter 8 — The Blueprint for Other Worlds
After receiving the system's mysterious gift, Kent sat silently in his private chamber. A shimmering blue interface hovered mid-air.
> [Item acquired: Dimensional Portal Blueprint — Omega-tier reality technology. Can only be constructed by entities with advanced understanding of multiversal physics and warp-stabilized engineering.]
"This... is no joke," Kent muttered. "But perfect for long-term expansion."
> [You must build it on an uninhabited planet. Instability risk is high. Recommendation: keep the project secret from all but the most essential personnel.]
Kent nodded. He immediately summoned the highest-ranking members of the Adeptus Mechanicus through an encrypted Omnissiah-priority channel.
Hours later, in the high sanctum of techno-ritual on Terra Aeterna, the metallic echoes of servo-assisted footsteps filled the chamber.
Standing at the center was Archmagos Dominus Belisarius Cawl, flanked by:
Magos Lexmechanic Zarn
Magos Biologis Lirae
Tech-Priest Dominus Grevan
Magos Dominus Hest
Tech-Adept Toren
Magos Explorator Delphan Gruss
Enginseer Halix
Tech-Priest Enginseer Arvann Stern
Skitarii Alpha Kael
Kent stood at a raised platform, a holographic projection of the blueprint hovering behind him. He addressed them in a calm, commanding tone.
"This project is classified Primaris-level secrecy. The design… is not of our universe. I want it constructed on an uninhabited planet in the Elenvaris Minor sector. Classification: Exo-Expansion Gate."
Belisarius Cawl tilted his ancient cybernetic head slightly. "This technology… does not originate from any Standard Template Construct. It defies known Mechanicus archives."
Magos Zarn interjected, his voice echoing with binaric modulation. "Cross-referencing pattern matrices. Conclusion: deviation probability exceeds 98.77%. Recommend isolated containment protocols."
Magos Lirae, ever the biologist, added, "We must also account for potential mutagenic anomalies. A gateway to unknown realities could expose us to xenogenic entropy."
Kent nodded. "That's why I'm assigning Lord Marshal Cassian Varx to guard the planet. No unauthorized personnel. I want the structure completed quietly."
They all bowed in unison, mechadendrites twitching in solemn reverence.
"We obey, as dictated by the Divine Logic of the Omnissiah."
The blueprint flickered as data began syncing into Mechanicus cogitator archives.
