Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Uzumaki Kushina

Passing through the streets of Konoha, Yasu headed towards the Ninja Academy.

There was no other way; his residence was too remote, and reaching the Ninja Academy required traversing Konoha's streets.

He wasn't a masochist, and being insulted like that made him feel uncomfortable.

Upon arriving at his class in the Ninja Academy, Yasu habitually walked towards the most secluded corner and sat down.

There was no one in front of or to the right of Yasu, as no one wanted to be his desk mate.

He had been enrolled for three years, diligently studying knowledge during class.

After all, if he wanted to change his current situation, becoming stronger was the only feasible option he could think of.

When he first started learning to extract chakra upon entering the academy, Yasu immediately tried it.

And he felt he seemed to have a decent talent; while ordinary people needed one to two days to extract chakra for the first time, he succeeded in just half a day.

However, there was someone even more talented than Chihiro: Minato Namikaze, a ninja from a civilian family.

In these three years, Minato Namikaze had defeated the genius students from ninja clans such as the Uchiha, Hyuga, and Nara, becoming the number one in the entire school.

Moreover, with his sunny personality and handsome appearance, Minato was very popular in school.

Unlike Yasu, who, although also handsome, was disliked by everyone.

Yasu lay on his desk, waiting for class to begin.

Currently, besides going to school and waiting for Kushina to appear, there was nothing else he could do.

He was now pondering in his mind.

Because he had witnessed the falsehood of the village of Konoha, and he reviewed his memories and found that Kushina's experiences somewhat strange.

When Minato and Kushina were still genin, Kushina was kidnapped by three Cloud Village ninjas who were at least special jonin.

As she approached the border, when Kushina began to despair, Minato alone discovered the hair trail she left and followed it, defeating the three Cloud ninjas as a genin and successfully staging a hero saves the beauty.

This was indeed very strange.

Putting aside whether Minato at the time could defeat three Cloud ninjas who were at least special jonin, it was strange that so many people in Konoha couldn't find the three Cloud Village ninjas.

Were the sensory ninjas in the village that useless? Or they probably got a mental disability?

Yasu began brainstorming from the worst possible angle, and suddenly a flash of inspiration struck him, and he sharply raised his head to look at Minato, who was chatting with people.

Nine-Tailed Container!

The current Kushina was not yet the Nine-Tailed Jinchuriki.

Since the first Nine-Tailed Jinchuriki, Mito Uzumaki, was about to pass away, Konoha, for strategic needs, in order to maintain the balance of the tailed beasts, selected Kushina as the new Nine-Tailed Jinchuriki, and secretly brought her to Konoha.

So, Kushina Uzumaki herself was brought to Konoha because Konoha wanted her to become the second Nine-Tailed Jinchuriki.

Kushina simply had no right to choose.

According to Kushina's description in his memory, the loneliness and oppressive feeling that followed almost suffocated her; she was unwilling, but had to accept this cruel reality.

And why would she say this? The first point is naturally because she could not change this outcome.

And the second point is very likely to be related to her bond with Minato Namikaze; Kushina loved Minato, so she had to stay in Konoha and accept this cruel fact.

It was very likely that from the moment Minato Namikaze rescued Kushina Uzumaki from the hands of the three Cloud ninjas, the higher-ups of Konoha were fueling the flames.

Perhaps Konoha had already been planning this matter even earlier.

Let Kushina Uzumaki, the orphan of the Uzumaki clan, form a bond with Minato Namikaze, the Konoha civilian, and use this bond as a chain to bind Kushina Uzumaki to willingly become Konoha's Nine-Tailed Jinchuriki.

And the result was obvious: Konoha succeeded with flying colors.

If Yasu's guess was correct, then Kushina Uzumaki was just a tool from the beginning.

Minato seemed to sense Yasu's gaze and looked towards him.

Yasu instantly shifted his gaze and looked elsewhere.

Seeing that Yasu's gaze was not on him, Minato thought he was mistaken, so he turned back and continued chatting with the people around him.

Yasu's little heart was pounding wildly.

If his guess was correct, then Konoha was far darker than he thought; perhaps Minato, the future Fourth Hokage, was also a tool. (Kind of…)

Yasu took a deep breath; he had to calm down now.

Whether these were the truth or not didn't matter to him; he would leave Konoha sooner or later, so improving his strength was the most important thing he should do now.

The upcoming Third Shinobi World War was a crucial period for obtaining Witness Points; if his strength was insufficient, not to mention obtaining Witness Points, even his own life couldn't be guaranteed.

The classroom door suddenly opened.

The class instructor, Masada Hayabusa, entered the class.

Yasu's eyes lit up when he saw the small figure following behind Masada Hayabusa.

After waiting for three years in the Ninja Academy, she finally appeared!

Kushina Uzumaki! (Smash… wait she is a child here… sti..ahm I mean pass)

Kushina stood shyly and bashfully beside Masada Hayabusa.

Masada Hayabusa introduced to everyone: "This is a transfer student who will be joining our school from today..."

Kushina took a deep breath, closed her eyes, and mustered her courage to loudly introduce herself: "I am Kushina Uzumaki, you know!"

Kushina suddenly covered her mouth, feeling somewhat shy and embarrassed because she subconsciously said her catchphrase, 'you know'.

Looking at Kushina Uzumaki's appearance, Yasu thought she was quite cute.

However, the other students began to laugh at Kushina Uzumaki.

"Look at that hair color."

"How can it be so red?"

"How strange."

...

After hearing their words, Kushina looked at her red hair and scratched it with some inferiority.

Masada Hayabusa reprimanded: "Alright, alright, quiet down, everyone be quiet!"

Hearing these jeers, Kushina's body trembled slightly, and her two small fists clenched tightly.

Kushina announced loudly as if declaring an oath: "I... I will become the first female Hokage of this village!"

Hearing her words, everyone present fell silent, all staring dumbfounded at Kushina Uzumaki.

At this time, Minato stood up, revealing a sunny smile: "I also want to become an outstanding Hokage recognized by the village."

Kushina pouted, feeling in her heart that Minato was a bit effeminate and didn't seem reliable at all; how could he possibly become Hokage.

Next, Masada Hayabusa was going to help Kushina Uzumaki arrange a seat.

However, most of the seats in the classroom were occupied by students, and only Yasu's seat had empty spaces around it.

Seeing Yasu, Masada Hayabusa frowned, with some disgust in his eyes.

"There's no other way; just find a seat over there and sit down for now."

Kushina looked in the direction of Masada Hayabusa's finger; clearly the classroom was so big, but no one was sitting around Yasu, and he was obviously being isolated.

At the same time, Kushina noticed that many people in the class seemed to be looking at her with a sense of schadenfreude.

Kushina immediately became unhappy and walked angrily towards Yasu's direction, finding an empty seat and sitting down.
