"Can you fulfill the promise?"
"Yes, I can. Believe in me that you have already seen."
A small chuckle was the last thing that he heard.

In a futuristic room that is called the Cortex, in the middle of the room, there is a man in a coma on a hospital bed with multiple wires on his body that lead to the machines nearby.
Vital machines, IV drips, and ventilators. All of this just to support one man who is in a coma.
There is also a doctor on standby, watching the progress of the said man. She is a beautiful woman with long brunette hair, and her name is Caitlin Snow.
And the other person who is next to her is a man named Cisco Ramon, a man with long hair that reaches his shoulders, and he is eating a lollipop.
"Do you think he will wake up soon?" Cisco asked, curious about what she thinks of the current situation.
"The chance of him waking up is zero t—"
The man in the coma wakes up all of a sudden, cutting her off. His eyes were wide open. He began panicking as he sat up and pulled out every wire on his body.
He winced in pain as he pulled out the IV wires.
Caitlin quickly checks his eyes, his pulse, everything that she can. She brought a small cup and passed it to the man who just woke up.
"Can you piss in the cup?" Caitlin said as she was trying to tick off every box just to make sure his body was healthy.
"Later," Cisco said as he held his shoulder. "Dude, relax."
The man who was in a coma then asked, "What's my name?"
"Barry... Allen?" Cisco said hesitantly, and he glanced at Caitlin.
The two of them now think that the man forgets who he is.
"Looks like that worked," Barry muttered.
Cisco and Caitlin were confused after hearing what Barry said.
Barry tries to get off the bed, but Caitlin said, "Please stay seated. You just woke up from a coma."
Barry still gets off the bed, and he nearly falls onto his face, as it's been a while since he moved after the coma.
"Are you okay, dude?" Cisco caught him just in case he fell down.
"I'm fine," Barry said, looking at Cisco with a smile before checking his body and testing his grip.
'It's all good,' Barry thought to himself.
But then a man in a wheelchair arrived in the same room. A man wearing glasses looks at Barry with a warm, welcoming smile.
This man is Dr. Harrison Wells, the current owner of Star Labs.
But not to Barry.
As soon as he saw this man, his anger within his heart burst out. Seeing the man who killed his mother living a normal life.
The only thing on his mind now is…
Revenge,
Hatred,
Fury,
Wrath,
And the man is going to pay for killing his mother.
Because of this, Barry's body suddenly starts vibrating so fast that to normal naked eyes, you could only see a blur.
His body crackles with orange electricity, including his eyes.
Without warning, he rushed toward the man with anger to kill the man who needed to pay the price.
"EOBARD THAWNE!"
He grips his fist tightly and launches it straight at the man. The man was surprised by this sudden action, but he did guess something like this could've happened.
He is excited because his plan is advancing faster than he thought.
Eobard, the man in the wheelchair, gets up, and his body crackles with red electricity.
Eobard weaves under the punch, and that same punch creates a strong enough shockwave that destroys the wheelchair and sends it flying.
Countering that attack, Eobard launches a punch directly to Barry's chest, sending him flying, hitting the wall behind, and creating a crack in the wall.
Barry coughs after receiving that punch. He felt the punch that he received break his bone, and it was so painful.
Despite that, he is still trying to stand up.
Eobard was smiling excitedly as in front of him is the Barry with some knowledge from the future. He doesn't know how, but this works for his plan.
Cisco and Caitlin, who saw this happen in seconds, are shocked by the sudden burst of speed.
"I'm going to kill you, Eobard," Barry said, laced with hatred.
"How? You are not as fast as you were in the future," Eobard said, telling the honest truth.
Barry gathered energy in his fists by vibrating them and causing them to crackle with electricity.
"That's new," Eobard commented on the new move that Barry just did, and it also confirmed that this Barry is the future self, having some kind of memory of the future or the consciousness of future Barry.
Barry also vibrated his legs, gathering energy. With a burst of speed, it surprised Eobard as Barry was able to close the gap in speed by using a new technique.
When he got close, he launched a kick to the head, which Eobard blocked using his forearms. Eobard winced as it was painful, but he countered the kick by grabbing Barry's leg and ran away with it.
Making the energy that was charged useless.
Eobard, with a grin on his face, as he ran, made sure that Barry hit the wall as he kept on running.

The back of the head.
*BAM!*
The front of the head.
*BAM!*
Barry's head bleeds out.
*BAM!*
His consciousness is fading away.
*BAM!*
Just right before he could faint, Barry was thrown to the outskirts of the Star Labs. He was rolling around on the floor, exhausted and hurt.
"Barry, Barry, Barry, you are quite stupid. The Future Flash wouldn't have done this. Hmm, you must have received some of the memories from the future," Eobard kneels down, tapping Barry's forehead.
'I can use his anger for my plan,' Eobard smiles, thinking of the future plan that he will be developing.
But Barry just stares at Eobard with eyes full of anger.
With the last strength in his body, he tries to grab Eobard's finger, but he is too slow as Eobard slaps his hand away.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk. You are too slow. Get faster. I will be waiting for you," Eobard threatens him while stretching his body and legs. "And if you don't, I will kill your family members."
Before vanishing in a crimson flash, Eobard says, "See you soon, Barry Allen."
Barry sees the crimson lightning leaving right before his light goes out.
The wounds, the broken bones, and the muscle tear. Everything is beginning to heal. It is accelerating the healing process.
In a few minutes, Barry wakes up, but his body still hurts as it is still healing.
Barry groans as he stands up despite the pain throughout his body.
'I lost control,' Barry thinks, staring at his palm. 'The anger was something else. This must be the emotion in my body. I need to learn how to control this before I lose myself.'
Barry walks out of Star Labs' outskirts into the city slowly.
Watching his surroundings since he is now in Central City, one of the fictional cities in the DC Universe.
But then he saw a bird's wings flap very slowly.
"This is very funny," Barry said as he watched his surroundings become very slow.
'I was excited to become The Flash of the CW universe, but I forgot about this side effect of having this power,' Barry chuckled, covering his face.
People nearby were worried about their safety as Barry looked like an insane person who had just escaped an asylum.
But out of those people, a man came up to him and asked because he was genuinely worried about Barry's wellbeing.
"Are you okay?" the man said, calling the hospital while asking Barry.
"I'm fine, I'm just heading back home," Barry said, pointing the way he was heading.
"Really?" the man asked, looking at Barry's expression. He made his own assumption as he talked to the operator on the phone. "Cancel all of that. The person doesn't want to get into the ambulance."
The man hung up the call and said to Barry, "Be careful then, dude."
"Sure," Barry gave a thumbs up and a weak smile before continuing his walk.
'That was exhausting.' Barry couldn't handle that very excruciatingly slow talk.
"I need to learn how to slow down my perception," Barry muttered as he continued walking back home.
