Xian'er turned, eyes soft but firm. "Yet I waited."
The air between them shimmered with unspoken words.
He stepped closer.
"You never stopped calling to me in dreams."
She placed a hand on his chest — over the place where his heart had been shattered by war.
"I know what you've become, Zhou Jian. But you're still the one who once healed a broken bird with your bare hands."
His voice cracked. "I'm not that boy anymore."
"But maybe," she whispered, "you don't have to be. Maybe we become what we choose — together."
And in that moment, petals floated around them, glowing softly as the trees swayed with life.

She stood beneath a silver moon, hearing whispers in ancient tongues.
A dark figure stood on a hill — eyes glowing blood-red.
The Ghost God.
He had awoken.
And he was searching for her.
Elsewhere, Haoran woke up gasping, hand over his chest.
"She's in danger," he said.
Back at the inn, the six stood together — united now with the girls.
Yuexin looked at each of them. Her voice steady.
"The darkness is rising. We've all run from the past. But now…"
She looked up, eyes burning like a soft moonfire.
"We fight. Together."
