Chapter 1 - 1 Dragon Unleashed

"RED ALERT! RED ALERT! Subject No. 125 has escaped from his cell and is making his way towards Section E of the armory. Lethal force is authorized; I repeat, lethal force is authorized." The alarm echoes throughout the facility.

As the soldiers swiftly surrounded the armory, their rifles trained on the entrance, anxiety permeated the air. They prepared to send a two-man team inside to apprehend No. 125. Holding their breath, they awaited the outcome of this precarious mission. The eerie silence was soon pierced by a chilling scream: "!"

The soldiers remained rigid, their hearts racing as footsteps approached. Emerging from the shadows was the thin figure with a sword, it was No. 125. "MEN, PREPARE TO FIRE AT NO. 125 ON MY COMMAND!" barked the commanding officer, his voice booming with authority.

As the tension reached its climax, gunfire erupted, reverberating through the corridor while shouts filled the air. "CEASEFIRE! CEASEFIRE!" the officer shouted urgently, realizing the chaos had spiraled out of control. Emerging from the shadows was a young man with long brown hair, gray eyes color, average height, a slightly skinny build, and a collar around his neck. They quickly identified him as No.125, who came out unscathed, "Let's see here, not counting those two behind me, that makes it twenty-three. I recommend you guys leave with your lives when you still have the chance." no.125 said in a dead tone.

The soldiers are getting ready for round two, but then No. 125 starts rushing at them with a sword, breaking them into two groups. Both groups start firing at him with no effect as if the shots were just bouncing off of him. No. 125 is getting his sword ready and starts cutting down the soldiers in front of him, quietly slicing off one head, breaking another neck, and proceeding to cut down the soldiers who couldn't do anything. "And now there are 12 left. One group is down, one to go. Like I said, last chance."

The soldiers were in disbelief at what happened. The commanding officers said, "Keep going." The soldiers charged at No. 125, and the only thing he said was, "How disappointing," and kept cutting down. Heads were flying; legs were torn, blood was spilled on the walls, and arms were separated. "Do you want to keep fighting or leave with your life?" in the same dead tone, speaking to the last one standing.

The commander looked around in shock and fell on the floor. Looking back at no.125, he started to breathe heavily from the massacre. He bowed down pleading for his life in fear. The only sound he heard was footsteps walking away. Looking back up and seeing no one around, he can't believe that he was spared, but why?

No.125 races down to section D, taking out multiple soldiers and sparing those who decide to run away. The only thing on his mind is to get to section B to find the scientist who knows how to remove the tracking collar on him. No 125 enters section C expecting the two robotic golems that they have for extra security, and he is going to face them.

No.125 approaches them and starts shooting at him. No.125 swiftly dodges them. The only way he could destroy them was by hitting a core on their backs. He destroyed a couple during combat trials in the past.

No.125 knowingly knows they are not capable of friendly fire. The golems began the assault on No.125; as the golems left up their arms, revealing a machine gun, they began firing at him. Quickly evading the incoming fire, think of a way to line the golems up, but was interrupted by a sound of massive amounts of footsteps, realizing soldiers were on their way. If he doesn't destroy them now he will be overwhelmed. He circles the golems and starts rushing them. Once again bullets started bouncing off of him.

Jumping over the first golem to slash the core on its back destroying it, and the second started firing. No.125 quickly ran behind it. Jumping on top of the golem and managed to rip out its camera from its head without tearing the wires. Knocking over, the golem, using his sword to pride, opened the arm with the mounted machine gun, leaving the wires and chamber intact.

When the soldiers finally entered the room, all they saw was No.125 on one knee, but the other knee had the machine gun with his right arm wrapped around it and his left arm holding the camera. The golems wouldn't be capable of friendly fire, which includes soldiers, but it has only one target.

While holding the camera, placing his left arm on top of the machine gun, and the camera facing at himself. A soldier realized what was about to happen, and immediately told everyone to get down, but it was too late. No.125 unleashed a barrage of bullets. Only a few soldiers managed to get down. By the end of the barrage, the soldiers who managed to get down looked around and saw their comrades riddled with holes.

Walking through the carnage he caused, he saw a soldier on his back, barely breathing; his helmet was destroyed, revealing an old man with green hair and a burned scar on his jaw. No.125 placed his hand on his chest and said, "I'm sorry, now you may rest." before stabbing him in the heart, killing him instantly. Not even a moment of rest, one of the soldiers managed to change at No.125 with a knife. Quickly grabbing the wrist of the soldier, and forcefully dropping the knife. No.125 caught it and used it to stab the soldier in the neck. After dropping the soldier he smashed a security camera.

Meanwhile, a man was looking through the security cameras, and as he began to scratch his head, a soldier walked. "Sir, I am reporting that most of the scientists have evaluated the surface warehouse. Would you like to be escorted out, Professor Charles?". Charles slammed his hand on the desk and said, "It pointed less. Communication to other facilities is down, and vehicles are damaged. Why did that damn hurricane come over here?" Looking back at the cameras, seeing No.125 was about to enter section B, but he is wearing a vest. "Damn it! Don't let him in this room. Send all but two soldiers to the hall. There is no way he is getting past all of them," Charles said while biting his pen. The soldiers spread out through the hallway and broke off to enter each room to hold position.

Eighty soldiers were breaking up into ten groups. Taking up rooms awaiting an order to attack. As no.125 entered the hall, he stopped. Look at the cameras on the ceiling. "You really think I'm a fool" pulling out an object from his vest that he was wearing. Pulling the pin smoke began to come out, throwing it enveloping the hallway in a smoke screen. Dr Charles bangs his hands on his desk, he couldn't believe his plans were ruined. The plan was to let No.125 reach the middle of the hallway to surround him until he was dead or was captured. Now the hallway is full of smoke; it will be difficult to know where No.125 is. Speaking into the soldier's headgear, "Get out of the room and start shooting down the hall; I don't care if you hit your allies; at this point, I just want him dead. Do I make myself clear?" Many of the soldiers were hesitant but only half wanted to fight.

Discussing amongst themselves, the best course of action was to fight him in close-quarters combat. The first two groups came out of the room to fire at No.125. Managing to evade the incoming attacks, he was able to get close; before he had a chance to fight back, a hammer was swinging toward him. Jumping to the side, causing the hammer to slam the floor, cracking it, and creating a gust of wind, clearing some of the smoke. With the space now visible, soldiers began to take out their swords, and a few were left armed. As two soldiers came towards him, No.125 guarded their attacks but was pushed back. As they fired at No.125 before he had a chance to recover, he managed to dodge, but one of the bullets grazed his left leg in the process. "That is not enough for a draw." No.125 thought.

The two soldiers once again changed toward him. Using his right arm to guard a slash coming toward his neck and held on to him, locking him in place as the other soldier went to his side. No.125 managed to shift himself enough, causing the soldier to strike and kill his partner instead of No.125. letting go of the dead soldier, No.125 quickly executed the second soldier. Looking back at the group of soldiers it seems their numbers have increased.

No.125 was prepared to fight them all, but a single soldier with a hammer stepped out. Removing his helmet and glove, he said, "Hey kid. you're fighting commander now". Biting down on his thumb making it bleed. Wiping the blood across his face, he made a war cry. Lugging frowned, ready to slam No.125 into the floor, but No.125 dropped his sword, and caught at last second. As he is on one knee, barely holding it up, he thinks If the attack missed, the impact would have cleared the rest of the smoke, boosting the soldier's morale and leading more soldiers to fight. "You like that. It is called Blood Mark. Marking myself with my blood increased my strength." Looking back at the commander, No.125 eyes were now sharper, his teeth were fangs, and veins appeared on his arms, as his collar automatically activated to shock him.

Despite weights and the shocks, he pushed back the hammer, leaving him wide open, landing palm striking on the commander's stomach. "Unfortunately for you, your men earlier cut my arm, but in return, it gave a draw." As the smoke began to clear up for soldiers nearby, they saw No.125 and the commander standing still. "Now Semi-Caliber Severance." Falling onto his back, looking up, the commander saw his soldiers and said, "R- retreat," coughing up blood as he died. The soldiers can't believe what happened. No.125 cut the commander with his bare hand. The soldiers followed the commander's order and retreated to the rooms they came from.

Finally reaching the room that Dr.Charles was holding up, No.125 began to break down the door. The two soldiers that were left with Charles aim their guns nervously at the door as it gets knocked down. "NOW FIRE!" Charles said, but the soldiers were afraid to move. No.125 jerks his head to the side, signaling that they can leave. They toss the guns aside and run away.

"Now it's just you and me." Charles jumped toward the gun on the ground, but No.125 stomped his hand before reaching it. "Now remove my damn collar." No.125 said in a serious tone.

"Tell me. How did you block the collar signal?" Charles asked.

"I used the aluminum that was wrapping on the nutrition bars" no.125 repealed.

Charles tried to reach for his pocket but used his sword to pin Charles' other hand onto the floor. Charles screams in pain and says, "Find. Let me go so I can disarm the collar.", but No.125 says, "Liar," removing the sword and throwing him across the room. No.125 crouches down and asks the same question.

Charles said nervously, "There's a remote in my pocket. Pess 0610, and it will remove the collar. Honest". No.125 did as the doctor instructed. The collar was finally removed after all these years. Charles slowly got up and began to walk away, but No.125 said, "What do you think you're going?" Noticing No.125 voice shifted, Charles looked back and saw a murderer's look on No.125's face.

"You got what you wanted; I can go, right?" Charles said, barely holding herself up. "I have been here for sixteen years; what you and your buddies have done to us is unforgiving." No.125 placed his hand on Charles' chest. "Semi-Caliber, Severance".
