Chapter 4 - Olivia Delivers Herself

The siblings waited for quite a while, but the phone still didn't ring. Now, Sophia wasn't calm; she felt a bit anxious. Moreover, she had eaten very little these past few days, her stomach hurt badly from hunger, and she really couldn't bear it any longer.

"What's wrong with that kid, he has no sense at all! Didn't I give him an opening to make up?! Humph! Fine, you don't cherish the chance I give you, don't blame me for being rude to you!"

Sophia angrily picked up her phone and called Jake.

"The number you have dialed is not in service, please confirm and dial again..."

Not in service?

Sophia was stunned, then she finally realized.

Jake blacklisted me!

Sophia was furious.

"He dares to scare me? He's gotten bold!"

Sophia didn't believe it, and tried sending Jake a message on WhatsApp again!

The result was she was blacklisted there too! At this, she was completely dumbfounded, and panic began to set in. Without Jake, where could she get food?

Ethan also became anxious: "That bastard is still scamming women, if a woman actually goes over, won't the food at Jake's place be consumed even faster? That's all our food!"

Sophia quickly said: "Impossible, what woman would be that foolish, how much food could he possibly have? After it's eaten, they'll still starve, who would be willing to be with a store clerk! You let me think of another way, Jake will come back to me! I understand him, he's just being difficult!"

...

Jake blacklisted Sophia but deliberately kept her account in the group chat. It would be pointless if Sophia couldn't see when he showed off his food later.

The next day, after Jake finished breakfast, he stood by the window and looked down. The red fog had gotten higher again! A few days ago, the red fog was only at the level of the 20th floor's floor. Today, it had risen past half the 20th floor's windows!

Jake was secretly worried. How high would the red fog rise? It wouldn't cover the 30th floor too, would it?

Jake did some push-ups and other exercises, worked up a sweat, took a shower, and comfortably drank a bottle of ice-cold cola before opening his phone to reply to Olivia.

Room and board included: [Okay, you can come over now.]

Olivia had waited all night and didn't dare delay any longer. She quickly replied: [Can I come over now? Where do you live, can you come and get me? I'm scared.]

Room and board included: [I know your address, go outside and wait now, I'm coming to get you.]

Olivia was momentarily stunned.

A few minutes later, Jake heard the click of a door opening from next door. He looked through the peephole and saw Olivia cautiously poking her head out from the room next door and carefully closing the door.

Jake carefully observed her, making sure Olivia wasn't carrying any weapons, before opening the door. He looked at her with interest.

Olivia looked warily at Jake and said disdainfully: "Never seen a beauty before!"

Jake's mouth curved slightly, and he said: "I'm Room and board included."

Olivia's mouth dropped open, followed immediately by a surge of anger: "You damn idiot! You...!"

Just then, a sticky dragging sound of footsteps came from the stairwell, accompanied by heavy breathing, like giant bellows.

"Huff~" "Huff~"

A monster was coming up from the red fog!

Jake turned around and went home without hesitation. He slammed the door shut.

Olivia also didn't bother cursing Jake. She turned around, wanting to quickly open her door to go home, but in her nervousness, she dropped her key! Olivia's door was directly opposite the stairwell door. Her key, unfortunately, kicked off her foot and bounced into the stairwell, making a clanging sound.

Hearing the sound, the monster's footsteps instantly sped up!

Olivia's face instantly turned pale. She turned and lunged towards Jake's door, frantically banging and crying out:

"Let me in! Let me in! Save me!"

Jake was worried she would attract the monster. He glanced out, confirmed the monster hadn't come up yet, yanked the door open, and pulled her inside with a grab.

"Ah! You're hurting me!" Olivia shrieked.

"Shut up! Don't talk!" Jake slammed her against the wall by the door with a bang, nervously looking out through the peephole.

Just then, a giant dog sprang out from the stairwell.

"Woof woof woof!"

By appearance, it was likely a sighthound breed, but its height was at least 1.5 meters, and its body length exceeded 2.5 meters! Its muscles were bulging all over, its eyes were fierce, and its teeth were chilling.

The mutated dog sniffed around the hallway entrance, gradually approaching Jake's door. Its heavy breathing passed through the door.

Olivia trembled uncontrollably.

Jake also held his breath nervously.

Just then, human screams came from downstairs.

"Woof woof woof!"

The mutated dog suddenly turned its head and dashed down the stairs.

Jake finally let out a sigh of relief. Only then did he have time to look at Olivia.

This was the first time Jake had observed Olivia closely at such a short distance. Before, whenever Olivia saw Jake, she looked down on him.

Her long hair cascaded over her shoulders, she had a slender waist and full hips, and her thighs were straight; her tight jeans were stretched taut.

In a safe environment, Olivia regained her cold arrogance. She crossed her arms, stepped back, and said with a cold face:

"I'm warning you, don't get any ideas!"

Jake's appearance was ordinary, his height was ordinary, only about 175 cm. Olivia was tall, a full 169 cm. When she wore high heels, she was basically as tall as Jake.

A low-level man like Jake, she would never look at him properly.

"Heh." Jake smiled brightly and swung his hand, giving her a slap.

Slap!

"It's already the apocalypse, and you're still playing these games with me!"

"Besides, you came here offering yourself, what are you pretending for now!"

Olivia covered her face, saying in disbelief:

"You dare to hit me!"

Hit you? Jake swiftly pulled out his dagger with a clang and said indifferently:

"Turn your face to the wall and stand properly."

Olivia looked at the chilling dagger, her face instantly turning pale:

"You, you, you..."

Jake stared at her unkindly:

"I'll say it one last time, turn around and face the wall, with your back to me!"

Olivia trembled and turned to face the wall, her back to Jake, saying aggrievedly:

"I, isn't it enough if I just turn around...?"

Jake placed the dagger against her waist and said coldly:

"Raise your hands!"

Olivia was startled by the sharp dagger tip and was utterly intimidated, beginning to cry:

"Don't kill me, I'll do anything, just don't kill me, boo hoo hoo~"

Jake ignored her. He carefully felt through her hair with one hand, ensuring she hadn't hidden any razor blades in her hair.

Then behind her ears.

Then her mouth.

Jake's rough hand pried open her teeth:

"Open your mouth!"

Olivia's mind went blank.

She didn't dare resist and obediently opened her mouth, tears silently flowing down, looking pitiful.

Jake, however, remained expressionless and carefully felt around.

She hadn't hidden a razor blade under her tongue either...

It was the apocalypse now, he didn't know if Olivia had ulterior motives, so it was better to be cautious.

He had revealed a large amount of food in the group chat; he was definitely a juicy target in many people's eyes.

Who knew if anyone had thoughts of taking action against him. In the apocalypse, the most dangerous thing is human hearts!

After checking her mouth, Jake's rough hand moved downwards.

Her armpits.

Her cleavage.

Further down...

Every indentation on Olivia's body was a place where a weapon might be hidden.

All were carefully felt through by Jake.

No problems found. Jake put away his dagger with satisfaction.

Olivia finally realized that the other party was frisking her. She felt both ashamed and angry.

I'm a woman, do you need to be this cautious?!

However, the dagger in Jake's hand made her dare not speak out, nor did she dare move her body. She could only turn her face and glare at Jake resentfully.

Tsk tsk, he had to admit, this woman was simply beautiful, her profile perfect.

"Oh, still stubborn." Jake smiled and grabbed the long hair at the back of Olivia's head, forcefully pressing her head down and dragging her towards the interior of the room.

"Ah! Don't pull so hard!" Olivia cried out in pain, being dragged along stumbling.

Jake pressed her face down onto the sofa:

"Lie face down, don't move!"
