I was pushed into a wet dark room
A faint smell of mildew filled the room
With no light to see
As the cold walls closed in
I just stood there waiting for a light, so I could see
Waiting day in and day out, still in a dark room with nothing to do
I sat waiting for people I once thought I knew
I slid against the wall with teary eyes as the weighted feeing of insignificance crushes me
My patience was a flame flickering in the dark
Waiting for the day someone will arrive
For now I'll just be patient for one day my
patience will be something all would want to know
Even for the people I once thought I knew
I was pushed into a wet dark room
A faint smell of mildew filled the room
With no light to see
As the cold walls closed in
I just stood there waiting for a light, so I could see
Waiting day in and day out, still in a dark room with nothing to do
I sat waiting for people I once thought I knew
