Ahhh, no don't kill me, why have you been chasing me. I don't wanna go with you" Zidorah screamed as she was being dragged by shadows which looks like dragons.
She was still struggling when she felt water on her body and she jerked up from sleep.
It was one of her night mares again which started three days ago
She opened her eyes and she saw her mom, dad and her little brother staring at her with worry .
" Dorah are you okay? We have been trying to wake you up for a while now, but you where deep in your night mares, screaming. Are you okay" her mom asked and she broke down in tears.
" No mom am not okay. Everything is not okay. They wanted to take me away." Zidorah said as she wept.
" Look they are bruises all over your hands" her father said and they all looked at her hand.
She didn't even know they were bruises on her hands.
She became more scared and her mom hugged her patting her.
" It will be okay. We'll find a solution to this. Just be calm" her mom said trying to console her.
" Sis everything will be okay. Just forget about this and think of your upcoming birthday which is in three days time. Finally you will become an adult" Aiden her little brother said trying to cheer her up and she smiled.
"Thanks bro. Let's get ready for school" she said getting up from bed.
" I think you should rest today. Don't go to school" her mom said with concern.
" Mom are you kidding. This is revision week and next week we are starting our final exams. Which I can't wait cos I'll finally become a high school graduate, and besides if I stay at home and I mistakenly fall asleep again, I will go back to those bad nightmares which I don't want to. So mum please let me go to school." Zidorah pleaded.
" It's fine. Go take your bath while I quickly set the table.
Knowledge High school
Zidorah and her little brother Aiden just got to school.
Aiden's friends who saw him came to drag him and the went to their class together.
Zidorah stood there staring at the big school building with a smile on her face lost in thought.
Many people love school because of the people in it not because of the teachings. But Zidorah case is different. She loves school cos of what it has to offer. Ever since she started school here, she had no friends. Not because they weren't friendly people in it, but because she loves being alone without distraction. She had just one friend who understands her feelings but that friend suddenly disappeared without leaving any trace behind.
Now finally in three weeks time she was going to say bye to knowledge high.
She shook those thought off and went inside.
When she got to class. Not too long the subject teacher for that period came in. Which was history.
Suddenly the power went off. The day suddenly turned to night and the shadows from Zidorah's dream came to life. They started beating her up and her screams filled the whole school as her voice echoed like that of ten thousand people. Making her sound like a demon.
"Let me go, don't hurt me, I didn't do anything to deserve this" Zidorah cried in pain.
Suddenly the power was restored and Zidorah was shocked at what she saw.she was holding on to her seat mate and she was with a knife stabbing him repeatedly.
She was confused, shocked and afraid at the same time an she fell unconscious
Few hours later....
She woke up to see herself in her room with her parent wiping.
Mom what happened" She asked.
" Your teacher said she was teaching when you suddenly stood up and left the class coming back with a knife which you used to stab your seatmate with. You were screaming with pleasure as your voice sounded like that of ten thousand demons. They tried stopping you but you where too powerful for them. Then you suddenly stoped your self and fainted " her mom explained.
" Mom.. believe me that's not true that's not what happened..... The day turned to night and those shadows in my dreams came and started beating me up. I screamed and by the time the night turned back to day, I saw myself with a knife stabbing him..... Am confused. I didn't know how it happened, I didn't do it intentional. Zidorah explained with tears
" I also didn't believe any of these and I demanded for the camera footage cos I know my daughter won't hurt a fly but I was shocked when I saw everything they told us was true" Her dad said and she ran out of the room.
"Dorah where are you going to... " Her mom called trying to follow her but she was already out of the house .
She kept on, trying to run from her current problem which she knew was impossible.
suddenly a shadow came behind her.
"Don't worry, it's the matter of two days and all these will be over" the shadow said creepily.
More shadows began to appear from no where. When she saw no body was in sight, so she wouldn't hurt anyone the way she hurt her seat mate.
She brought out a pocket knife and charged towards them slitting their throats , but they kept waking up .
"Leave me alone, stay away from me, I don't have anything to give you so why are you bothering me she shouted loudly as her voice echoed around the forest as she ruffled her hair madly.
A little girl who was running home, seeing her as a big dragon shadow, Zidorah threw the knife at her as it Peirce through the little girls neck, the knife edge came out at the back of her neck and they both fell down unconscious.
