"Sister, you wouldn't want your vampire identity exposed, would you?"

Su Yuchen, wearing a smile, directly grasped Kristia's weakness.

In this city, being a vampire without registering as part of the bloodline clearly implied harboring a secretive agenda. Therefore, she absolutely did not want her identity exposed.

Kristia ceased her struggle and fell into silence.

Then came the storm after the silence.

The viscous blood-red glow, cold as a venomous snake, surged through the darkness. On the shadowy ground, blood-red magical formations spread, and bloodied hands wrapped around Su Yuchen's legs, touching, tugging, and pulling.

Crack!

The sound of bones breaking.

Despite the fractured wrist, Kristia broke free from Su Yuchen's grip and, like flickering lights, swiftly distanced herself from him.

She stared at Su Yuchen, gradually recovering from her injuries, regaining the noble elegance of her vampiric lineage.

"You ungrateful virgin!" She lifted her chin and a smile returned to her lips. "Sister kindly granted you a chance to indulge with me in something naughty, and you dare to resist and take liberties. Not cute at all."

"Am I supposed to wait for you to drain me dry?" Su Yuchen paid no attention to the bloodied hands clutching his leg. "Naughty is fine, dying is not."

Death is one thing; the unbearable part is the 'public death' of being reported in the news the next day as having died from excessive indulgence.

"Look, this guy was drained dry in the alley!"

Who wants to hear such an assessment? Who wants to have the word 'died from indulgence' on their tombstone?

To avoid such an embarrassing situation, of course, one must resort to self-defense.

"Virgin who courts death, do you still want to teach me things?" Kristia had an expressionless face. "You will pay for your rudeness just now!"

Su Yuchen brought his right hand to his lips, "The rudeness this hand displayed?"

Kristia's eyes turned cold. Indeed, such was the behavior of a virgin!

Yet simultaneously, she kept her gaze fixed on his right hand, the scent wafting from his waving motion… it was truly intoxicating.

Gulp.

Involuntarily, she swallowed, forcing herself to look away and focus on Su Yuchen's feet.

It turns out the bloodied hands couldn't pull him into the 'Realm of Blood.'

Her blood-red eyes squinted; it seemed like capturing this human wouldn't be an easy task. However, such an exquisite delicacy couldn't be let go of so easily.

"Virgin…"

Kristia had a sudden inspiration. A charming smile once again lit up her face. How could a virgin resist her tender tactics?

If being tough didn't work, then she'd try being gentle. She didn't believe she couldn't handle a young human!

"Little brother~"

In an instant, retracting her magic, Kristia gracefully approached Su Yuchen, saying, "Don't be so fierce~ Sister was just teasing you earlier. With someone like you, it's only natural to savor slowly…"

Back in front of Su Yuchen, Kristia extended her hand to caress his cheek.

Very good, no resistance!

Indeed, he was a virgin; he was completely entranced and wasn't resisting at all!

"How could sister bear to kill you?"

She had never used such a tender and seductive voice on a man, making her feel a bit aggrieved inside.

Not only did he take advantage of her, but she also had to maintain this attitude… Just you wait, once I turn you into a blood servant, I'll punish you by stepping on your face with my foot so you'll know what humiliation means!

While thinking about how to punish Su Yuchen, Kristia's expression didn't change at all, nor did her tone, as she said, "Little brother, try being naughty with sister again… Uh!"

Smack!

The crisp sound was exceptionally clear in the quiet alley. Earlier, it was one hand, and this time, it was both hands clapping simultaneously.

Kristia's delicate body trembled, her mind went momentarily blank; he, he did it again?!

"Sister, if only you had said earlier that it's fine, I wouldn't have been so polite." Su Yuchen, with a smile on his face, looked at the stunning beauty so close at hand, and the feel of her dress was really something.

Kristia was genuinely angry; to have her noble lineage humiliated twice in a row like this was infuriating. "You damned human!"

Sharp fangs extended from her mouth, and Kristia felt anger and shame rising within her, "I'll… Uh!"

Her shapely legs weakened, and the high heels made two distinct yet crisp noises as they made contact with the ground.

Kristia's body slumped slightly. How could this happen? Such a strange sensation…

"I'm going to drain your blood…"

A blood-red radiance surged out from Kristia's body again, and within the fury-filled magic, numerous bloodied hands extended, aiming to tear Su Yuchen into pieces.

But—

Su Yuchen, who had floated away and distanced himself, took out his phone and snapped a few pictures. He smirked, "Come at me."

"I'm going to suck you dry!"

"Come on!" Su Yuchen raised his phone high and kept tapping his thumb. If he continued, Kristia's photos would be reported to the police.

"I'll kill you!" Kristia gritted her teeth.

"Come closer!" Su Yuchen raised his phone with a flourish.

Kristia was breathing heavily, infuriated. "I'm going to tear you apart… If you dare, take on a human's courage and face me one on one!"

Furious but powerless!

Not being registered in this city had a vital purpose, and once her identity was exposed, how could she achieve her goals?

Kristia glared at Su Yuchen but couldn't muster all her strength.

Her current power couldn't defeat him before he sent those pictures.

She gritted her teeth and said, "Just wait to be hunted down by the bloodline!"

"I'm sending it, hehe." Su Yuchen smiled, inching his thumb closer to the screen.

Approaching the night of the full moon, the mental state of a vampire wasn't stable, evident from the loss of composure and outbursts of anger.

"You… wait a moment." Kristia clenched her fists and, after a while, softened her tone. "Don't act impulsively; we can talk."

The boiling blood within her deepened the color of her eyes a shade darker.

'I mustn't act impulsively; there are more important matters to attend to…'

With a smile on her face, Kristia approached Su Yuchen once more. "Little brother, sister hasn't even asked your name yet."

"Don't move," Su Yuchen warned, "if you take one more step, I'll send your picture out."

Kristia halted her steps, gritting her teeth. "You damn virgin, don't underestimate me. What exactly do you want?"

"I was just passing through. It was sister who wanted to suck me dry, how could you accuse me of wanting something?"

Kristia took a deep breath, her voice taking on a hint of coyness. "Sister was wrong. Can you please delete the photos? Whatever you want, sister will agree, okay~?"

"Anything?" Su Yuchen sized up her graceful figure wrapped in a red dress. "Then, you…"

"No!" Kristia rejected outright. There was no way she'd let a human male see her precious body!

"I haven't finished yet," Su Yuchen took a step forward and walked up to her. He noticed something intriguing – during the time they'd spent together, no "unfortunate" incidents like falling down unexpectedly or strange objects dropping had occurred.

"Shaking hands with sister, would that be fine?"

"Just that?" Kristia blinked.

"At least for now," Su Yuchen's expression was serious.

Kristia's eye twitched. What was this guy up to again? But this might be an opportunity.

Without showing any signs, she glanced at his phone and extended her left hand. "Little brother, you're such a little troublemaker, threatening sister with these methods…"

Su Yuchen directly held her hand. It was cooler than a normal person's, but apart from that… no shivers ran down his spine.

Kristia was taken aback. Just a handshake? No holding hands, no flirting, no ulterior motives?

I'm this stunning… Are you even a man?

Seeing Su Yuchen's serious expression, Kristia pursed her red lips and suddenly tried to destroy his phone directly.

"Sister, mobile phones are really expensive."

Suddenly alert, Su Yuchen tightened his grip on her left hand, forcefully flinging her towards the wall, "I'm going to send it."

"You… don't." Kristia, back against the wall, spoke softly.

"Sister, you're really…"

Whoosh!

A powerful gust of wind caused Su Yuchen to immediately step back, nearly avoiding her knee strike, which would have affected his lower half.

It wasn't over.

Before his eyes, a pair of blood-red eyes were inches away. Kristia's speed was much faster than before, revealing her determination to kill him.

Rather than being led around by this damn human, it's better to go down fighting.

She'd rather not achieve her goal!

Facing Kristia's determination, Su Yuchen retreated a few steps, his right hand ready to strike her butt again.

Smack.

He didn't hit Kristia's butt this time but rather the corner of a garbage can. Though it wasn't a particularly sharp edge, it cut open his palm, causing a small amount of blood to spatter into the air.

Kristia's resolute gaze immediately moved away from his face, and she watched the airborne droplets of blood. She changed her direction, opened her mouth, and extended her tongue to catch the blood.

It was a natural, instinctive action.

One moment, Su Yuchen was inwardly grumbling about his bad luck, and the next, he couldn't help but burst into laughter. "Sister, are you a dog?"

Kristia lowered her head, her golden hair covering her embarrassed, blushing face. She hadn't intended for this to happen…

But his blood was just too alluring!

It was so captivating that her body had acted without her mind catching up. Performing dog-like actions in front of a human… Ah, let me die!

Kristia crouched down, holding her head and her shoulders trembling.

"Crying?"

Su Yuchen walked over cautiously, observing her trembling body. She had a great figure, and even when crying, she looked beautiful.

"Miss, I just…"

"I'll gouge your eyes out!" Kristia pounced at him, clutched his neck, and shook him violently. "Forget this happened!"

Evidently, her embarrassment had made her forget her true identity, behaving like an ordinary young girl.

"Cough… gouging out the eyes doesn't involve choking." Su Yuchen held onto her hands, looking into her eyes.

Her blood-red eyes were teary, partly from tasting blood and partly from shyness.

"You don't remember anything, do you?" Kristia broke free, looking pitifully at Su Yuchen, slightly taller than herself. "Do you? Do you?"

If this weren't an act, she really wouldn't be able to withstand it.

"Right, right, I remember nothing. But…" Su Yuchen caught her wrist again. "Sister, were your hands sneaking into my pocket for the phone?"

Kristia's face darkened, and she went for his neck with her mouth open.

"Sister, you really are quite the actress," Su Yuchen taunted as he dodged her attacks.

"Let me take just one sip, okay? I won't hold you accountable for being forward," Kristia noticed that this human responded to her cajoling and coquetry, quite different from his earlier calm demeanor. His panicked evasion was adorable.

Moreover, he wasn't retaliating and wasn't smacking her butt; instead, he was just dodging.

This was more in line with the behavior of a virgin.

"Don't make a fuss, be good. Sister is very gentle."

"Believe you? No way." Su Yuchen avoided her while patting her hand trying to steal his phone. "Didn't you hear that sound?"

"Don't struggle, it'll be over soon, while you count the stars."

"There was really a sound just now."

"Little brother will change the subject when he's shy? How adorable~"

"It's the 'pew' 'pew' sound of a police car."

"That's fine. Just one bite, and then you can go. Don't move!"

Even though it was just a few drops of his blood, why did it feel like she had consumed some kind of magical potion?

Su Yuchen took a deep breath and shouted loudly, "There's a blood suc—!"

Kristia covered his mouth. "You damn virgin, what are you doing?!"

Su Yuchen ignored her, bit her hand, and continued to shout loudly, "Blooood suuuuuuuuuuuck…"

"You're crazy! I offer you benefits, and you still decline, are you stupid?!" Kristia, infuriated and embarrassed, punched his abdomen, then pushed him against the wall. "You don't appreciate kindness; you're going to pay for this!"

Hearing the approaching police car sirens, Kristia glared at him harshly and walked away, saying, "You're in for it soon!"

"You're so heartless…" Su Yuchen rubbed his stomach, muttering, looking at where she disappeared. "Huh?"

He bent down, picking up a notebook from where Kristia had been.

"Graduate student ID?"

Flipping it open, Su Yuchen smiled, "So, it's a senior… Senior sister Tia, a graduate student."

But she was a vampire, and her graduate student ID had human information on it. Hiding her identity for so long in the Sky City meant she was harboring a lot of secrets.

Putting the graduate student ID in his pocket, Su Yuchen looked at the scratch on his hand from the garbage can, contemplating.

During the brief encounter with that vampire earlier, he hadn't experienced as much misfortune!

Frequent choking on water, falling for no reason, looking up and seeing an advertisement sign falling… all these unlucky occurrences.

Crossing over—no, reincarnating into this world eighteen years ago, he had grown accustomed to these frequent misfortunes.

A law graduate, becoming a lawyer, defending the plaintiff abused by a certain criminal syndicate. The second trial overturned the first, successfully defending the defendant. The crime syndicate's main culprit went from life imprisonment to immediate execution. His reputation soared, and his future looked bright.

Then, one night, attacked from behind by an accomplice of the defendant's wanted criminal, fatally wounded… and then, he reincarnated with his memories.

Born anew in this world, growing from infancy to eighteen years old.

For eighteen years, misfortune followed him like the wind.

Why did he have such an unfortunate constitution? Su Yuchen didn't know; it was beyond his comprehension.

If there were an explanation, it might be 'everything is arranged by the gate of fate'?

However, when he had just encountered the vampire, there had been only one unfortunate incident—the cut on his hand. Considering his usual misfortune frequency, this time it was too brief and too scarce!

But it couldn't rule out the possibility that encountering a vampire was a 'big' misfortune.

Then what about being teased and molested by a beautiful vampire lady? Were these also considered misfortunes?

Su Yuchen pondered this while scanning a QR code at an automatic vending machine to purchase a bottle of water.

The screen on his phone displayed a successful payment, but the water didn't come out. He had thought his luck was improving.

He kicked the vending machine in frustration, but the water still didn't emerge. Instead, the vending machine inexplicably fell towards him.

"Taking money without delivering the goods, and now trying to silence me…"

Su Yuchen supported the vending machine, returning it to its original position. The world was too dangerous; he should get home quickly and have a good night's sleep.

As for the vampire grad student, he could "bother" her once he started school, after all, he held an "advantage."

Perhaps something like, "Tia, don't you want to keep your vampire identity hidden?" would be the kind of advantage he could hold over her.

Just as he took a step forward:

A flickering blood-red light appeared behind him, prompting him to look back involuntarily.

As he turned his head, the gradually vanishing blood-red light from the alley where he had just been caught his eye.

"She didn't leave?"

Just as he was pondering this:

The sharp sound of police sirens, accompanied by screeching brakes and blinding lights, made him squint.

"Put your hands up!"

Su Yuchen's mouth twitched as he remembered the vampire's words, "You're in for it soon!"

So, it was a frame-up.
