Chapter 5 - chapter 5

Omega POV (Ayan)

The doctor finished checking my temperature, then gave me a small pouch.

"Supplements," he said. "They'll help balance your hormones for the next few days. Just to ease the aftershocks."

I nodded, keeping my eyes down.

I still felt... exposed.

The robe was soft, but it wasn't mine. Nothing in this place was mine. The air still held traces of his scent—fainter now, but enough to keep my heart racing.

"Mr. Vale should be back shortly," the doctor said, standing. "I'll see myself out."

I followed him to the door silently.

And as if summoned, it opened.

He stepped in.

Kieran Vale.

Tall. Impossibly tall.

Sharp suit, clean lines, black as night. His eyes met mine instantly, unreadable. Calm. Controlled.

But I felt it.

That subtle wave in the air. A ripple of Alpha pheromones brushing against my skin.

The doctor nodded. "He's stable now. Just a little weak. The heat's passed."

"Good," Kieran said. His voice was deep, smooth. Like the edge of a knife wrapped in velvet. "Thank you."

The doctor left.

The silence stretched between us.

I stood there awkwardly, hugging the robe around myself tighter

He looked at me

Just... directly.

"You're awake," he finally said.

I nodded. "Yeah. Um… thank you. For helping me."

He didn't answer right away.

Then, "You shouldn't have pushed yourself during the meeting."

I flinched. "I didn't know it was going to happen."

His eyes softened for a split second. "Still. You should've told me."

I blinked. "Told you what?"

His lips pressed into a line. "That you're an Omega."

My throat went dry.

"You knew?"

"I've known since the interview," he said, stepping closer. "The scent was faint, but not hidden. I assumed you were on suppressants."

"I was," I whispered. "I stopped a few weeks ago. I didn't think— I didn't know it would come so fast."

He studied me again. His gaze flicked down—my bare legs beneath the robe

He looked away before I could read his expression.

"You'll stay here until your system balances," he said quietly. "Take the supplements. I'll arrange transport when you're ready to return to work."

I looked at him, confused.

He wasn't cold.

He wasn't angry.

Why wasn't he saying anything?

"You're not... mad?" I asked, almost too quietly.

He turned his head slightly.

"No."

Silence.

Then, softer—low enough that I almost missed it—

"I'm trying not to give you a reason to go into heat again."

My breath caught.

"You're not ready for what would happen if I stopped holding back," he said simply.

Then he walked past me, brushing close enough that his scent curled in my chest again.

"You know where the kitchen is," he said calmly. "Eat. Rest. I'll be upstairs in my office."

And just like that, he was gone again

The house was too quiet.

After Kieran left,I wen to the kitchen to make myself breakfast but I just sat in the kitchen, staring at the untouched food on the plate in front of me. I wasn't hungry. Not for food, anyway.

I kept hearing his voice in my head.

I stood up and wandered out of the kitchen. Just to clear my head.

The mansion was big. Cold. Everything expensive and black .

My bare feet padded across marble floors as I followed the hallway past the stairs. I wasn't really thinking.I didn't even know where I was going.

Then I heard it.

A sound.

Soft at first.

A sharp inhale. Then—

"Ah—f-fuck…"

I froze.

The voice was unmistakable.

Kieran.

The sound was coming from behind a slightly opened door. His office?

My heart skipped.

I stepped closer.

His voice came again—lower this time. Rough. Desperate.

"Haaah... Ayan..."

My name.

He moaned my name.

My face went red instantly. Heat flooded between my legs.

The door was cracked open just enough for me to peek.

He was in the chair behind his desk. His head thrown back. Shirt unbuttoned. His chest rising and falling with every sharp breath.

His pants were open.

One hand gripped the arm of the chair so hard his knuckles were white. The other pumped his cock—thick, flushed, leaking. His knot was swollen already. Red and angry-looking, like it hurt to be denied.

His hips bucked into his own hand.

"Hhnnng—fuck—Ayan…"

My knees almost gave out.

I bit my lip, squeezing my thighs together as I watched in shock. In heat. In something worse.

I couldn't look away.

His eyes were shut tight. His brow furrowed like he was in pain.

His hand moved faster.

"Hah—haaah… aahhh—mmnh… Ayan, so tight… so soft…"

His hips jerked hard.

Then his moans grew louder.

"Ah—ahh—ahhh! Fuck—Ayan—Ayan—!!"

Thick spurts of cum shot across his stomach, dripping down his abs. His cock twitched violently, still pulsing as his hand slowed, milking the last few drops.

I covered my mouth to keep myself from gasping out loud.

He stayed there for a while, panting.

Then suddenly—he opened his eyes.

I stepped back.

Too loud

The floor creaked.

My heart stopped.

I ran back down the hall, not looking back—panting, burning, my pulse in my throat.

I didn't stop until I was back in the guest room, slamming the door shut behind me.

I pressed my back against the wood, my chest heaving
