Chapter 5 - Chapter 5: Chakra is the Primary Productive Force

Haruki originally thought that Minato Namikaze would readily agree based on his reputation, but unexpectedly, he hesitated.

On the other hand, Kushina Uzumaki looked discontented.

In her mind, Haruki was an extremely powerful ninja.

For a dull - witted fellow like Minato Namikaze, being chosen by Haruki was a blessing from his past life, yet he dared to hesitate.

"Do you think I'm a Medical Ninja and can't teach you other Ninjutsu?"

Haruki quickly guessed what Minato Namikaze was thinking.

"Lord Haruki, I'm not disrespecting Medical Ninjas. It's just that I have no talent for becoming one," Minato Namikaze explained.

He sure knew how to talk.

No wonder he would become the Fourth Hokage in the future.

Haruki showed a gentle smile. "It's okay. There's plenty of time. Maybe you'll change your mind."

He reached out and ruffled Minato Namikaze's spiky hair.

It felt good.

Minato Namikaze could only endure it silently.

Oh, this damned seniority!

If he became Minato's teacher, how would Naruto Uzumaki address him?

"Go to class. We'll meet again."

After saying goodbye to the two kids, Haruki met the person - in - charge of the Ninja Academy.

As the Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi was just a nominal presence at the school.

Koki Takahiro gave him the first impression of being efficient.

He didn't have any flashy outfits; everything was very proper.

Since he had attended the previous meeting, Haruki didn't need to explain again.

"Takahiro, I need you to do a few things. First, readjust the class schedule and add two extra classes specifically. Second, I'll have someone train some teachers, but it'll take time. Third, the Research Institute we're setting up will need a research building."

After listening, Koki Takahiro pondered briefly and said, "I'll arrange it properly."

After that, Haruki gave some more minor instructions.

For example, he asked to be arranged as a teacher for Class A, Grade 6.

When he got home, it was already evening.

"Is today a special day?"

Haruki was a bit surprised to see a table full of sumptuous dishes laid out in front of Tsunade. "Or do you just want to drink?"

"Do you think I'm such a heavy drinker in your mind?" Tsunade rolled her eyes. "This is to celebrate you becoming the vice - principal of the Ninja Academy."

Haruki raised an eyebrow.

What vice - principal? Why would Tsunade care about that?

Most likely, this glutton was just craving for a drink.

She couldn't drink during the previous war. Now that she was back in Konoha, she just couldn't hold back.

Haruki didn't expose her and poured himself a glass of wine.

"Cheers!"

Tsunade's eyes curved into crescents with a smile. She clinked her glass with Haruki's and downed it in one gulp.

Half an hour later.

Haruki had to struggle to take the glass from Tsunade's hand.

"Give... give it to me. I... I still want to drink!"

Tsunade's face was flushed, her eyes were blurred. She grabbed a few times but missed the glass.

"Be good. Don't drink anymore."

Haruki supported her and whispered.

"No... no way!"

Tsunade hung onto Haruki's neck, leaned forward, and sniffed. "The smell of... of the wine..."

Haruki was stunned.

Tsunade cupped his head and brought it to her mouth.

The sound of slurping~

After a long time.

"So delicious... so... " The voice grew weaker and weaker.

[For your first French kiss with your girlfriend, you have received a reward: the Flying Thunder God Technique series.]

Haruki's face darkened. Was this damned system mocking me?

And that damned woman had just flirted with him and then run off!

He carried her back to her room in a huff and then took another cold shower.

The lights came on.

Haruki picked up a book.

The content of the teaching materials had been considered a long time ago.

The difficult part lies in how to subtly integrate the ideas he wants to elaborate on into the textbooks.

The main content of the history book introduced the ninja careers of the three Hokages, with a small part mentioning the histories of the various clans in Konoha.

The core was about struggle and unity.

The political textbook was both the key point and the difficult part.

He chose a rather ingenious approach.

He collected the words spoken by the three Hokage-sama and then elaborated on them with his own understanding.

Haruki had been good at this in his past life.

He could write a 3,000 - word essay citing scriptures and classics from just a casual remark of a leader.

He guessed that even the leader would be stunned after reading it: Did I really say that?

But everyone liked to hear nice words.

Some ideas were too bold, so he expressed them rather implicitly.

To really make bold reforms, he had to wait until Tsunade became the Fourth Hokage.

After finishing writing, Haruki felt that the road ahead was long and arduous.

The world of the Hokage was a world where cheats existed, and it emphasized bloodlines.

It was really difficult for commoners to make a name for themselves.

Without bloodlines, Dojutsu, or Kekkei Genkai.

But Haruki thought that as long as there were enough resources, the upper limit of commoners could reach the level of Chunin or Jonin.

Moreover, there were commoner ninjas like Minato Namikaze.

This involved the issue of productivity.

In the Hokage world, the primary productive force was naturally Chakra.

Chakra could obviously be used for many more things.

Rather than having the major ninja villages fight each other to a pulp.

In addition, technology was also a very important matter.

For example, if Orochimaru's Cursed Seal was perfected, it would be very useful for commoner ninjas.

In the theatrical version, there were also weapons like the Sky Fortress of the Sky Ninja and the Hyper - dimensional Chakra Cannon of the Cloud Hidden Village.

But ninjas didn't pay much attention to these.

He planned to focus on both aspects simultaneously.

Take it slow.

He turned off the light and went to Tsunade's room. He found that half of her body was exposed outside the quilt as she slept soundly.

Haruki walked quietly to the bedside and covered her with the quilt.

Most of the blush on her face had faded.

She looked so peaceful.

Like a sleeping beauty under a spell.

Haruki watched her quietly for a while and then left the room.

It was a quiet night without any more happenings.

"Ah, my head hurts so much!"

Tsunade rubbed her forehead and appeared in front of Haruki.

"Who told you to drink so much last night?"

Haruki took off his apron and smiled. "Let's have breakfast."

"What is it?" Tsunade looked at him expectantly.

"Lean meat congee."

"My favorite!" Tsunade cheered.

"Slow down." Haruki couldn't help smiling at her impatient actions.

"By the way, where on earth is that certain ninja village that taught you cooking skills?"

Tsunade took a bite with a rice ladle, savoring the delightful blend of meat juice and rice that spread in her mouth.

She was like a contented cat, her eyes slightly closed, and her long hair glistening in the morning light as her head swayed.

"I forgot, too."

"Humph, I always feel like you're hiding something from me?"

Tsunade had never heard of the certain ninja village.

"Come on! Other than seeing each other naked in the end, what other secrets do we have?"

Haruki scooped up the porridge and watched the expressions on her face change because of him. A strange feeling of affection naturally welled up in his heart.

"What are you talking about!" Tsunade said, blushing with anger.

Seeing this, Haruki stopped teasing her.

After dinner, he washed the cooking utensils.

"I'm going to the Ninja Academy!" Haruki shouted.

"Go ahead, go ahead." Tsunade stopped writing the teaching materials, thought for a moment, and then walked out of the study.

Haruki was standing at the door. When he saw her, he pointed at his cheek.

Tsunade gave him a disdainful look but still walked up to him.

Unexpectedly, Haruki gave her a tight hug.

He felt her amazing softness and elasticity.

Haruki flashed a mischievous smile.

Tsunade realized what was going on and flicked him hard on the forehead.

"You're always trying to take advantage of me!"
