When John, Mark, Robert, and Jack first came to Darkden, they were just kids trying to survive. Darkden was a city full of crime, with every street corner hiding danger. But for them, it was also a place full of chances to make money and prove themselves.
At the start, they did small jobs. Tony, the man who got them into this life, found them work like delivering packages, watching people, or roughing up someone who owed money. It wasn't much, but it was enough to get by.
John was the leader. He was smart and always thinking about what to do next. Mark was the strong one, ready to fight if anyone tried to mess with them. Robert was the planner, figuring out what their enemies would do. And Jack, well, he was sneaky and could get into places no one else could.
As they worked in Darkden, they learned more about the city and its gangs. There were four main gang leaders, called the Emperors, who controlled most of the crime in Darkden. These men were powerful, and they didn't like new people trying to take over their city.
But John, Mark, Robert, and Jack weren't scared. They wanted to be more than just small-time criminals. They wanted to be the ones in charge. So, they started taking on bigger jobs—selling drugs, dealing weapons, and anything else that would bring in money. They worked hard, and the more they did, the more they wanted to take the Emperors' place.
One night, as they sat in a dim, smoky bar, John spoke up. "We've been doing this long enough," he said quietly. "It's time we take over. But to do that, we have to take out the Emperors."
Mark grinned. "I'm in. Let's do it."
Robert nodded seriously. "We have to be smart. They won't go down easily."
Jack leaned back, smiling slyly. "We've come this far. Let's finish it."
They spent the next few months planning. They watched the Emperors closely, figuring out their weak spots. Slowly, they began to chip away at their power, taking over their businesses and getting rid of their men.
Finally, the night came when they were ready. It was a cold, rainy night—perfect for what they had planned. Each of them went after a different Emperor, attacking all at the same time. It was quick, brutal, and by morning, the old Emperors were gone.
Now, John, Mark, Robert, and Jack were the new rulers of Darkden. They had done what they set out to do. They had become the new Emperors. But as they looked out over the city, they knew that staying in power would be just as hard as getting there.
For now, though, they were on
top, and Darkden was theirs.
