Synopsis
In Fractured Will, reality is shaped by a powerful force called Will, which individuals can harness to manipulate the world around them. Those who wield it, known as Will Shapers, can reshape reality itself, but the more they use their Will, the more it costs them slowly eroding their identity. If they push too far, they become Fragments, powerful but unstable beings. The world is divided into multiple realms, including the Prime Realm (the material world), the Meta Realm (a higher dimension of power), and the Fractured Realm (where those who’ve lost control of their Will are trapped). Various factions vie for control of Will’s power, including the Shapers (who seek transcendence through power), the Fragmented (who have lost themselves to Will), and the Guardians (who try to maintain balance). The central conflict is the struggle for control over Will, with each character facing the choice between gaining immense power or losing their sense of self in the process. The deeper one goes into Will, the greater the risk of becoming a Fractured being, and only by fully embracing this transformation can one transcend their human limitations.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Foundation of Order

Let me explain how the world works.

No, not the way your schoolbooks pretend it does. Not the way the System wants you to believe. I'm talking about the real way. The way we live it. The way we survive it.

There's no democracy. No elections. No government pretending to represent the people.

There's just the System. Ancient. Invisible. Merciless.

No one knows who made it. Or when. Or why.

But it's always been there. Monitoring. Ranking. Dividing.

From the moment you're born, the System scans you.

Your body. Your mind. Your potential.

And then it brands you.

Not with fire. Not exactly. With something deeper.

A Mark.

Some people are born with one, some aren't.

If you're Marked, you're in the game. If you're Unmarked, you're just… furniture. A background piece. Replaceable.

There are seven Tiers of Marks. Like layers of a pyramid.

Each one comes with its own color, its own expectations, its own power. The higher the tier, the more the System invests in you. It gives you food, shelter, training, access to things the rest of us aren't even allowed to look at.

At the top?

Gold Tier.

They walk like gods. Talk like kings. Born perfect, it seems.

Below them, there's Red Tier. Dangerous. Trained for violence. Used as weapons.

Then Blue. Smarter than most. Tech, science, strategy.

Green? Healers. Farmers. Builders. They keep the machine running.

Yellow are the workers. The ones who carry bricks until their backs break.

Gray? Disposable. Last picked. First to die.

And then there's Black.

The lowest. The cursed.

Criminals. Mistakes. Experiments gone wrong. Some say even demons.

The System doesn't forget. If you're Black Tier, you're a warning to the others.

Now here's the part no one likes to talk about.

Not everyone can use Will.

Will is... something else. Some call it power. Some call it spirit. But it's more than that.

It's the thing inside you that lets you push back against the world. Bend it. Break it.

Only some people can use it. Most can't. And even among those who can, the System controls how much.

The Will isn't something you're taught. It's something that either answers you—or it doesn't.

It burns inside you, like a sun. If you can use it, you can fight. You can survive.

If you can't? You're prey.

But even among those with Will, there's a chain.

Some can barely light a candle.

Others? They can tear down cities with a scream.

The System watches. Always. It decides how far you go. Who lives. Who dies.

And the worst part?

You can feel it. Every second. Like a weight pressing down on your bones.

Like a voice whispering, "You are not enough."

This world it isn't fair. It isn't kind. It doesn't care what you want.

It's a cage.

And most of us were born in it, will die in it, without even knowing what the sky looks like beyond the bars.

But me?

I saw the cracks.

I saw the lies.

And I learned how to break the rules.

So listen carefully.

Because if you've been Marked... if something deep in you is burning, clawing, screaming to be more...

Then maybe, just maybe...

You're not as powerless as they told you.

Now let's talk about how the cage works.

Brick by brick.

Wire by wire.

And maybe, just maybe...

We'll learn how to tear the whole thing down.
