Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: The First Pull and the Chains of Fate

The air was heavy with mana.

Raizer blinked slowly, his senses adjusting to the overwhelming aura that clung to the chamber like fog. The summoners stared at him with a mixture of awe and fear, as if they had realized too late the nature of the being they had brought forth.

The Gacha System's mechanical voice echoed once more in his mind, cool and emotionless:

[Welcome, Raizer. You now possess access to the Infinite Gacha System. Your journey begins.]

He could feel it — a subtle hum beneath his skin, a connection to something vast and limitless. And yet… not free.

[Note: You must wait 12 hours between each pull. Alternatively, spend Gacha Points to pull instantly. Current Points: 0]

Raizer's lips twitched ever so slightly. Figures. There was always a catch. But he had time. Time was something he owned.

One of the robed figures, trembling, stepped forward. "Summoned Hero… y-you are now in the Kingdom of Elvaria. We summoned you to aid us in our war against the Dark Clans—"

Raizer raised a hand, cutting him off. "Spare me the politics."

His voice was like ice. Cold. Final.

The summoner flinched. The others remained silent, unsure whether to be angry or terrified. Raizer turned his head, observing the walls, the symbols, the ancient inscriptions. It was a powerful ritual — one that required more than mere mana. Perhaps even souls.

"You," he said, pointing at a robed woman standing near the back, her mana slightly stronger than the others. "You performed the anchor binding, didn't you?"

She stiffened. "I… yes. I helped guide your soul here."

Raizer walked toward her, his black coat dragging behind him like the tail of a shadow. He stood inches from her face. She didn't dare move.

"Good. That means you're useful. You'll be the first to guide me through this world."

Her breath caught, but she nodded.

[Time until next free Gacha Pull: 11h 57m]

[Tip: Complete objectives to earn Gacha Points.]

Objectives? The system reacted instantly to his thought:

[New Objective: Leave the Summoning Chamber]

Reward: 10 Gacha Points

Simple enough.

He turned without another word and walked toward the chamber's massive double doors, carved with dragons and divine beasts. But before he reached them, the largest summoner — a tall, broad-shouldered man — stepped in front of him, sword drawn.

"You will listen to the King's command, summoned one. You serve us now."

Raizer paused.

A moment of silence passed.

Then—

A flicker.

A blade.

A scream.

Blood painted the runes in crimson as the man fell, clutching his throat. Raizer hadn't even drawn a weapon. He had simply moved — a flash like a shadow — and the deed was done.

The others gasped, some falling to their knees, others frozen in place.

"I serve no one," Raizer said flatly, wiping a splash of blood from his hand with the man's robe. "But if someone serves me well, I don't mind sparing them."

He turned to the woman again.

"Name."

She swallowed hard. "L-Lynara. Apprentice Mage of the Arcane Circle."

"Good, Lynara. Lead me out of this dungeon."

[Objective Completed. +10 Gacha Points]

Raizer's gray eyes flickered. A faint smirk tugged at the corner of his lips.

[Gacha Points: 10. You may now perform a pull.]

He stepped out into the torch-lit corridor, away from the summoning chamber. The ancient castle stretched before him, corridors lined with forgotten banners and dusty tapestries. Outside those walls lay a world full of monsters, betrayal, and kingdoms drunk on power.

But Raizer had a system.

And it was time for his first pull.

He stopped, his hand clenching.

[Initiating Gacha Pull…]

The air shifted. A swirling vortex of light and sound materialized before him, shimmering with possibility.

[Roll Result: SSR — Shadow Blade of the Abyss]

[Effect: A blade forged from the darkness between worlds. Scales with the user's willpower. Grows stronger with each betrayal endured.]

The blade appeared in his hand — sleek, pitch-black, and humming with a cold pulse.

Lynara stared in horror and awe.

"This…" she whispered, "isn't just a hero. He's something else."

Raizer turned his gaze to the far horizon, where a new world awaited.

"I'm done being ignored," he muttered. "This time… I'll write my own fate."
