Rewind was with Ramhorn, Steeljaw and Eject as Blaster has to ask them out to go on a small scouting mission since they have been stuck in Ark a lot as of late. Rewind was busy rambling about useless information as usual as Eject was busy interested in thinking about football, Ramhorn looked like he was about to blow a fuse and Steeljaw was the only one interested in this mission.
Steeljaw soon hushed them as he turned around looking extremely annoyed and said to them in his usual rough voice "Will you lot finally focus on the mission here!? We have to scout for Decepticons and you lot are not focusing on the task that Blaster gave us!" That made Eject, Rewind and Ramhorn snap out of it as they followed him.
Soon they arrived at a abandoned field that had a colr, dreadful silence. It was as quiet as a leaf rustling and the trees there seemed to have dried out from the lack of water. The whole sky was cloudy and looked like it was about to rain along with the fact that the light of the earth looked very dull with the sun being covered by the clouds. It gave them a slight unease as they walked through the field.
With hesitation, they came across a particularly strange area that looked to be a ancient civilisation which looked to be from the humans. The whole area was covered in dust and sand, the walls of the stone-made buildings looked very cracked and the small ponds were covered in moss and muck. Overall, Eject and Steeljaw was starting to get a real bad feeling about this.
Soon they went through the area until they reached a large dense forest where Steeljaw had smelt the crystals out and turned to them saying "The crystals are this way." Rewind nodded as he ran off taking the lead. Eject ran after him along with Ramhorn as Steeljaw sighed and followed them.
So Rewind began chatting to Eject saying "Did you know that Caves are usually made out of water from the cracks-" Eject shushed Rewind and said to him "Another useless fact? Really?" Both of them argued until Ramhorn lost his cool and pushed them both forward.
Steeljaw gave a nasty glare at Ramhorn before walking towards them. Rewind and Eject got up and gave a nod of their heads to show that they were fine, soon they came across a cave that has barely any light going through it, there was a couple of leaves that had fell on the path to the cave and small sounds of dripping water had echoed through the cave.
Soon the Autobot mini-cassettes entered the cave as they looked around the dark area. Eject managed to find a lantern and lit up the candle inside with a lighter that he got from a human ally as he walked with the others into the pitch-black area as they soon saw a large area in the cave that had signs saying "left or right" and there was two paths in front of them.
Soon they questioned on whether going to the left or right path before Rewind said "I bet on left." The others looked skeptical about his claims before Steeljaw said to the others "We better get going. I trust on you Rewind this time." Steeljaw smelt throughout the cave as they followed Steeljaw.
Soon they came across a large cave room that was open and had energon crystals that glinted brightly. Little did they know that Acidstorm, Frenzy and Rumble was watching them. Currently, Rumble was smirking while Acidstorm glared at him and Frenzy currently was silently fidgeting with his fingers as they got ready to attack the Autobots.
Soon Steeljaw had smelt the smell of rusty energon and turned to look up at the holes of the cave. Frenzy noticed and nudged Rumble to look down seeing Steeljaw staring up at them most likely. So they decided to take the risk of dealing with the Autobots and handling them.
Rumble jumped down with his piledrivers hitting the ground making his jumping more easier as the Autobot mini cassettes had fallen backwards from the shockwave that Rumble made. Acidstorm came down ad Frenzy climbed from the walls and landed down where the Autobots were.
Soon the Autobot mini cassettes got up as Eject said "I think it's Soundwave's cassettes. We better fight these decepitcreeps off!" Frenzy looked annoyed before attacking quickly due to being offended by what Eject said. Immediately Ramhorn charged into him and knocked Frenzy back as Steeljaw began handling Rumble.
Rewind and Rewind was left with Acidstorm who was much harder to deal with than some of the Decepitcons due to his anger issues and the ability to shoot acid out of his null rays. Acidstorm flew down at them as he had the intent to murder them in his own optics. He soon began shooting down acid which everyone attempted to avoid.
Eject and Ramhorn managed to avoid it at best, Steeljaw pulled himself to the side as Rewind soon tried his best to dodge but his shoulder got hit by Acidstorm's acid and a small wound opened up with a few drops of energon falling out of there. He winced putting his hand over his shoulder as Ramhorn helped him up Surprisingly.
"You alright?" Eject asked as Rewind nodded hissing in slight pain as the Autobot mini cassettes turned to the Decepticons cassettes and began thinking up on something that could defeat them. Eject was looking over Rewind's shoulder as Steeljaw attempted to at least discuss a plan with the usually angry Rhinoceros.
Soon they agreed on handling Decepitcons one by one. It was no easy task at all as Acidstorm was not giving them a break at all and the small twin cassettes was using their piledrivers to create multiple shockwaves that disoriented them.
Soon... The Recordabots and the Recordacons (including Acidstorm) were extremely exhausted as the Autobots had won on the verge of losing. Rewind had cuts all over him, Eject had some scratches, Ramhorn had the least wounds and Steeljaw had been scratched on his eye. Rumble had his piledrivers slightly cracked, Frenzy had dust and a bit of a crack on his window on his chest and Acidstorm was heavily injured. Soon they got up after the intense battle and went to collect the energon crystals.
The Recordabots got up wanting to go back to blaster and grabbed as many energon crystals as they could before they quickly retreated out of the cave as fast as possible. The Recordacons got up along with Acidstorm and retreated as well to get out of the cave as quickly as they can to report to Soundwave about what they have seen in there.
