Rhaien's P.O.V
"You're right the club is using the other students but there's more to it" Clark whispered in my ear, his voice gone low.
When did he got here? I felt a sharp pain in my neck, shit I let my guard down, I glared at him weakly.
"You're interesting, Rhaien" Clark said with a deranged look in his eyes, I felt dizzy, that's when I felt I lost my consciousness.
Clark's P.O.V
"I'm looking forward on working with you from now on, Rhaien" I said quietly, carrying his skinny and small body.
"What happen to him, Clark?" Arthyries asked me curiously, I saw him casually leaning against the door
"I just had a lovely chat with him and may or may not knock him out" I said while smiling innocently.
"So he's a member now?" Arthyries asked me for confirmation, I smiled faintly
"Yes, he's intelligent and can be useful to our club" I commented as I stared at Newbie.
"Tell Loki, I'm going back to my dorm with Newbie" I said, carrying Newbie towards my dorm room, I lay him in my bed. I wonder what will happen when the whole school received the announcement? Now I noticed he looks quite feminine for a guy.
I heard a knock at my door, I opened it and saw Jailene staring at me cautiously
"What is it?" I asked her questioningly
"Loki said that you and newbie should return to school" Jailene said with a tired sigh.
"Why?" I asked her curiously, she shrugged and yawned at me tiredly.
"Loki said it's important" Jailene said
"Alright" I said, I carried newbie with me. We went back to school, some students were looking at us, I tilted Newbie's head so he's facing my chest.
"Isn't that Clark? Who's that?"
"Yeah , Clark looks so damn hot"
Some students were whispering, they're annoying. I went to the clubroom with Newbie.
I lay Newbie in the sofa and sat down
"What do you want, Loki?" I asked Loki impatiently, I glared at him
"You can't skip classes and what happen to Rhaien?" Loki said, looking at Newbie.
"I just knocked him out, no biggie" I shrugged nonchalantly and smiled
"Why would you do that?" Loki asked me , facepalming at my statement
"I just tested something plus he looked tired" I reason out.
"Sometimes you make me question my sanity, Clark" Loki sighed tiredly
"It's my specialty, Loki" I smirked
"Wake Rhaien up" Loki said sternly
"He'll wake up later" I said dismissively.
"I'm already awake" Newbie said that got us surprised, he punched me in the gut with quite some force.
"That's for knocking me out and pestering me, asshole" Newbie hissed at me, damn it kinda hurt. Travis was right, Newbie is strong for a scrawny and short guy.
"Your welcome, newbie" I smirked, Newbie got even more annoyed, he glared at me before sitting properly.
"All of you back to classroom now" Loki said sternly, all of us just went back to the classroom, while on our way Newbie looked miserable which made me smirked.
Rhaien's P.O.V
Our lecture got interrupted because of someone knocking on the door, Loki opened the door.
"I'm sorry for interrupting your lecture Sir Loki but Headmaster said that all students must go to the auditorium now for an announcement" A teacher explained as she looked at us in disdain.
"Alrigh , students line up and go to the auditorium" Loki said, making us get in line and went to the auditorium.
A lot of students were looking at our class disgustingly and some are glaring at us, man what is wrong with them? It's like we commited a crime or something.
A man who's in mid 40s came up to the stage and smiled at us warmly
"Hello students, I'm sorry for the inconvenience, I just had some few announcements. As you all know there will be a competition for the freshmen, two students per section will participate in the competition" He said.
A competition huh? I looked over to the other students, Clark looked amused , Travis looked excited, some were grinning in a feral way while others looked competitve.
"We already picked two students per section, here they are:
A: Luciel Greenvaien and Jiroh Jarens
B: Kyle Harris and Jill Aluise
C: Gaile Feithon and Daniel Williams
D: Seirie Amarie and Josephine Winterhill
E: Clark Whitenight and Rhaien Addison" He said.
Wtf I have to participate? And worst I'm with Clark, why am I so unlucky? This is the worse
"Looks like we're partners , Newbie" Clark smirked at me mischievously
"Why the hell do I have to participate?" I asked Loki impatiently.
"It's for the class, Rhaien" Loki said, smiling tiredly, tapping my shoulder in comfort
"I just want a quiet life, why does fate likes to mess with me" I sighed, damn you Fate, I officially hate you.
"Don't worry Newbie, it'll be fun" Travis said excitedly, hell like that reassures me, expected from this lunatic, how wonderful.
"For you yes but for me it's not" I grumbled, plus I'm with Clark the most arrogant jerk I've met in my whole life.
"I'm with you so don't worry we'll win" Clark said, great a psychotic guy and a shitty egotistical guy, how come I'm always around this type of guys?
"Stop that gaze of yours" Zamirra said
"Why? Does it concern you?" I asked
"A bit, you look like you're about to commit murder" Zamirra pointed out
"Trust me, if you're in my position you'd want to commit murder" I said to her.
"I understand you, I mean being around with a crazy guy like Travis and an egotistical jerk like Clark, who wouldn't want to commit murder" Arthyries said to me sympathetically.
"No need to get violent Newbie, plus if ever you're going to murder someone make sure it's Travis" Clark said, squeezing Travis's shoulder tightly.
Travis punched Clark in the arm with quite some force, I saw Clark winced in pain
"I still want to live, you asshole" Travis said to Clark moodily while smiling.
"Clark, Travis, stop bothering Rhaien, he's already moody and you're making it worse" Loki sighed.
I glared at Loki, he just gave me a pointed look, I just scowled at them
"I'm not moody, this is my usual attitude, leave me alone" I grumbled.
"No can do Newbie, clearly you still don't understand how this place works" Arthyries said. This place works? What's up with this school?
"Then explain it to me, you're making sound like it's something shady" I said, rolling my eyes at him, I wonder what's going on with these people?
"We need to explain it to you since you're our new club member, Newbie. It'll cause trouble for us if we don't explain the whole thing to you" Jailene pointed out.
"Yup, they might target you if they knew that you're completely clueless about the whole situation" Arthyries commented, what did he meant by that? Who's gonna target me?
"Students, pay attention" Headmaster said sternly, all of us went quiet quickly
"You have 3 days to prepare for the competition, good luck" He said, what's the competition about? He dismissed us, we stood up and got in line.
"Mr. Addison please proceed to my office" He said to me before I left, I saw Clark smirked which made me glared at him , I followed him to his office.
"How far are you liking your class?" Headmaster asked me while smiling
"Class is class, it's all the same to me except for the weird human beings known as my classmates" I said, rolling my eyes.
"You remind me of someone" Headmaster said, chuckling lightly at my attitude
"Good for you then" I shrugged
"If someone gives you trouble let me know, I'll handle them" He said.
I just nodded, I left his office and went to the classroom, that man is hella creepy, I put on my earphones, listening to 'Blue' by Bigbang.
"Hey Newbie" Travis called me
"What the hell do you want?" I asked him moodily, he just laughed at me
"Easy there, go to the clubroom after class" Travis reminded me while smiling then he went away.
Class went on painfully slow, I badly wanna get out of here already, arggh
"Addison, why are you not paying attention?!" Sir Logan asked me angrily, I just glanced at him blankly.
"My bad then, teach. I was so bored that I find the scenery outside more appealing than the lecture you're teaching us, I mean half of my classmates are already sleeping while the other half are just plainly zoning out like me" I said nonchalantly.
"I'm a teacher, respect me!" Sir Logan yelled at me angrily, I kept on staring at him blankly
"Rightttt" I said with no interest, this teacher is freaking annoying, tss.
"THAT'S IT, GET OUT!!" Sir Logan said angrily, I just grabbed my things and walked away, since I have nothing to do, I just went to the library.
If only my life is as quiet as the library I'll actually be happy for once in my entire life, I grabbed a book titled 'Empty Promises' and started to read it.
"Never knew you were a library guy" A familiar voice said amusingly
"Well newsflash, why in the world are you in here?" I asked Clark without looking at him.
"No reason, although it was hilarious seeing Logan pissed off, good job. I thought you were a perfect school boy type of guy" Clark said, sitting in front of me lazily.
"Authority and I don't match" I said, still not looking at him, what does he want from me now? I just want some peace, is it too much to ask?
"You know it's rude to not look at people when they're talking" Clark said, grabbing my chin and forced me to look at him.
I brushed his hand away and glared at him hard, closing my book as well.
"Really? I thought it was normal since you're a very nice guy" I said sarcastically.
"Your constant sarcasm and sharp tongue is going to be your ticket to hell" Clark said, rolling his eyes.
"What can I say it's my talent" I said, shrugging and rolling my eyes at him
"Come with me" Clark said then dragged me, I protested but followed him begrudgingly.
