Chapter 1 - CH1 Reality distorted

"Thanks for your attention, the school is going to close after 30 minutes."

The sound of school bell rang.

Hearing this, Gary pulled out his mobile phones.

He leaned himself towards the bench.

His feet swept across the soft grasses, before calling his friends.

But it seemed like there was no response.

Seeing this, Gary let out a deep sigh, his hand clenching his temple.

Take it easy, they might be busy.

Garry muttered in his thoughts.

Suddenly, a playful and sweet voice shouted.

"Good evening Gary! Are you ready for the first mission?"

"Whoa!"

Gary flinched, turned his gaze beside.

Elitzabeth's golden hair bounced, her ocean eyes blinking.

"Haha, You sneak me Beth"

Gary chuckled softly, gazing at Elitzabeth's playful grin.

Next to her, the boy with green eyes stated.

"Uh, Gary... can I copy your homework?"

"Sure, but after our task, Shannon."

Hearing Gary's word, he nodded in acknowledgment.

To get a new mission, they headed towards the Mysteryman association.

The dusk sky contrast with a street lamp.

It reflected the green pupils of Shannon, who was walking along the pavement.

"That's fantastic rights? We are legitimately becoming a mysteryman"

he said, a soft grin hidden in his lips, before Elitzabeth replied.

"Ya, I can't even trust myself, that I am a spiritual wielder.

Each footstep passed, her golden hair playing with the air.

In this world, there was a special one.

Spiritual wielder.

Who could communicate with spirit and casting the mysterious energy.

Including these trio.

After the long walk-

"Guys look!" Gary said, his fingers pointing forward.

As their gaze caught, Elitzabeth and Shannon froze, their bodies trembling.

The distorted sound, which couldn't catch the word, bringing the bizareness to the three.

The crimson red ashen the sky, as if a blood.

"Hey! what's happen!?"

Elitzabeth exclaimed, her voice laced with bitterness.

Gary glanced around the unfolding scene.

Nobody here.

"I.. never saw this thing all of my life. Escaping is the way!!"

Shannon exclaimed, trying to escape from the chaos.

But his limbs was heavy, as if the chain squeeze on.

Even worse, everything turned into darkness.

The reality? Shattered like glasses.

Gary, Elitzabeth and Shannon stood on the darkness floor.

The unknown was the everything they sensed.

Not long after, the unhinged voice uttered, echoed through the cold darkness.

"Hatchatcha! You might be feel really good because I'm very enjoying now!!"

The almost-friendly laughter echoed, after the enjoyable word.

Hearing this, Gary trembled, his teeth clenched.

It was squeezing the thought, which rising in his mind.

What's that? I used to watch the mysterious man video. But never found something like this.

Oh geez, please give me a chance to survive!

It seemed like that mysterious being sensed Gary's thought.

It let out a deep chuckled, contrasting with the terror of three students.

"Oh, look at this my grateful readers. It seemed like he think I'm just a normal being. But they're wrong!! Hahaha"

Finishing the word, it appeared.

The tall figures, seemed like human nature, but without a face.

Seeing this, Shannon clenched his fist, ready for the fight.

Elitzabeth agreed, pulling out her scissors her student backpack.

Ready for cutting apart.

Concerning the worse thing happened, Garry raised his hand.

"Take it easy, no need to fight.

Just stand still and reading its game.

"But, if I do nothing, it will kill us before even escaping."

said Elitzabeth.

"Couldn't agree more.

I would rather to be the rebel that got killed than being the slave that not willing to fight."

Shannon support her word.

A minute passed, this being letting out a chuckled.

Mocking their both worthless effort.

"Huh, think carefully. Fight me if you think you'll be return. If I were you, I will obey your friend, Gary. Playing along the game."

Hearing the echoed mockery, Elitzabeth and Shannon clenched their teeth, their breaths cracked.

Couldn't believe they were just a toy to rehab its psycho.

However, they couldn't do anything.

It would better to be a toy, instead of the death things.

In the side of Gary, he calculated the unfolding scene in his thoughts.

Well, better to protect than treatment.

As that being noticed their fear, its smirk deepened, snapping the fingers.

After the click, everything shifted.

A different color twisted, challenging the lightless area.

――✧ Paradoxy core, starting the lore.✧――

The colour finished swirling.

A large door appeared before them.

The emerald green shining in the darkness, casting around.

It was a vague light, but weaving them a faint hope.

"Such a huge door."

Elitzabeth said, sweeping her fingers towards the door.

"Yeah, I'm eager to know what I will see.

Shannon replied, his fingers tap on his chin.

"Same with me."

Said Gary.

"Perhaps, it's a door to another world. Couldn't trust my eyes, farewell homework, farewell undergroud crowd. Greetings, a system and lady."

Shannon muttered, shut his eyes.

Lost in his fantasy.

"Whoa, I think you watch too much isekai anime."

"Somehow, it is a gate to fairytale. Don't tell nobody that's I attract on the vampires, he's really hot."

Finishing her word, Shannon interrupted.

"Are you high? Silly fairytale, silly vampire."

Elitzabeth took a deep breath.

"Like your isekai fantasy and don't dreaming about these chick. You can't even take care yourself."

"Oh, okay but I'm level max swordmaster. But what's about you? Do you even have a blood for your dovey husband to drink every month?"

After the nonsensical argument, Gary slightly raised his hand.

"Beth, Shannon. Looks! That door might be somewhat puzzle."

He said, his hand swept across the rough touch of the door.

Both of them stop arguing, turned their attention to Gary.

After the moment of touch, a dim light appeared, showing a lantern around the area.

The dim light of lantern, what's a stark contrast with the stone statue.

Gary headed towards that statue, and found a piece of later :

I The wandered terror.

II The blasted hatred.

III The deepened sorrow.

IIII The eternal whirlwhind of euphoria.

Being a spirit wielder couldn't guarantee everything.

Best of luck, new mysteryman.

He told his friends that letter, while the thought blooming in his mind.

Holy chopstick! We all spiritual wielder but don't even awakening yet. I doubt we will survive.

Shannon and Elitzabeth nodded, their eye narrowed.

My life is behind my back.

Father, if my breath got cut.

Please let me saw you.

That though echoed in Shannon's mine.

Not long after, something flashed on their sight.

My eyes!

Gary muttered in his thought.

As the three opened their eyes, a voice echoed.

"There are 5 keys, but only one work out. If you misuse. Haha, why I need to tell."

It was true, 5 keys placed before them, a different colour per each keys.

"Then, what's next?" Gary said

"Green, I wanna choose it so bad." Shannon said, grabbing the keys and dashing to the door.

"Wait, Shannon. Don't you planning?"

Elitzabeth raised her hand to warn Shannon.

Too late, Shannon unlock the gate.

"It's work." Gary muttered.

Gazing outdoor, a shimmering light seemed like a way to escape.

"Then, let's go."

Elitzabeth nodded.

The three walked out the door, found a night time jungle.

Glowing trees, playing firefly, and harping moon.

"Fantastic, observants time.

Oh, my prince, waiting for my blood."

Elitzabeth said, before Shannon nodded.

"Heck yeah! My isekai life. Let's go my mysteryman mate."

Both of them walked to survey, before Shannon turned his gaze to Gary.

"Wanna come? Gary."

"Don't wait for me."

Gary said, still-standing.

Looks like Gary thought was correct, both of them faced a huge problem.

A ghoul, ghost and fantasy being came to Shannon and Elitzabeth.

Might be a relief to find anything to cure their starvation.

That's not an other world, nor a fairytale.

But it was that faceless man's trap.
