"She's awake"
"Dad what are you doing here" I asked totally confused
Why am I even here I the hospital did something happen
I thought for a while then the incident came flashing in
I immediately felt scared looking around if there where still peaches around
"Peaches, peaches "
"No not the peaches pls"
I said scared to the wit not minded where I was
Dad could feel my discomfort and immediately came to my side
Gently placing his hand on my hair
"Calm down Lolli no peaches here anymore"
And it work cause I felt my tensed body becoming calm
I slowly turned my head looking at dad
I missed this old day where it was me dad and mum. He even called me Lolli, him always called me that when I was little
And I loved it so much
But I did not want to get to attached cause I felt it wasn't gonna last long. Cause now it wasn't me anymore It was Lucio and Andy
Suddenly I felt hot tears run down my cheeks I couldn't help but cry knowing fully well this moment wasn't gonna last.
Dad leaned closer and wiped the tears off my face
"Am sorry Sasha I know I have ignored and neglected you, I should have paid more attention to you and wouldn't have happened"
The tears continue to flow none stop
Is this really happening now
I don't understand
He stood up then continued
"I called every day and Lucio always said you we're alright and everything was fine Lolli but how did you end up like this"
He said looking so stressed
But I was confused
Don't tell me dad always never knew of the torture and pain I went through this past year at home and in school
I mustered the courage to speak
"Dad I always tried to reach you but you never picked my calls nor tried calling back I even gave up and endure it all alone"
Dad looked at me in a confused manner
Trying to grab what I just said
"Tried to reach but I never got any call, But I did try calling often but Lucio always said you where busy And what did you endure alone"
Immediately those words came out of his mouth I was totally shocked and confused
Don't tell me he really doesn't know
All this while I thought dad had left me
Had never loved me but it was all a misunderstanding
"Bu.....t th....e few time you came home you always scolded me and punished me" I said while tears continue to roll down my cheeks none stop
My dad looked and me I could feel the guilt in his eyes
"Lucio always told me you had disrespected her
Cause she was your step mum and never respected Andy, It made me really angry cause I wanted you all to live together but never knew it was the opposite" He said while few tears drop. So it really was a misunderstanding
I tried sitting up before dad came and assisted me then gently placed pillows at my back
"Dad urs not your fault it's just a big misunderstanding don't worry it all over now already we all know the truth" I said while giving a smile.
Dad looked at me and smiled too , but it did not reach his eyes
After some time he clenched his fist and asked
"Who did this to you, tell me I'll definitely make them pay" Dad said with an angry face
"Dad you need to be calm, pls"
"Sasha don't tell me to be calm, look at you in the hospital what if it was worst than this Lolli how do you expect me to be calm"
Seriously I understood where dad was coming from but it doesn't change anything
I just needed him beside me, just needed a fathers love that all
I felt all this was going to push dad further away
He wanted to do this cause of the guilt he felt towards the whole matter but it really doesn't matter
"Dad I understand but pls just let it slide just this once pls I just need you here no one else pls"
Dad was reluctant for a while but eventually gave in but his face turned serious for a while before finally speaking
"Fine but I'll agree on one condition"
He said then looked at me waiting for a reply
"O....k"I said reluctantly not really sure of what he was going to say
"I'll assign someone to protect you in school and no but Sasha" Dad said crushing all hope of me arguing with him totally dismissing the matter before it started. I sighed a little frustrated
Gosh a protector when am in school could this get anymore worst
I looked at his face. It definitely crushed all hopes of me arguing or protesting so I had no choice that to agree
"Fine"
After we where done doing some father and daughter catch up
Dad looked at his phone and his face was all tensed up, he immediately turned and left the room
I guess he received a call from his wife
I thought and rolled my eyes at the idea
I was already feeling bored so I decided to do some poem writing . I checked round the room for my bag but couldn't find
"Gosh don't tell me I forgot it at that place" the thought of it gave me the chills
I opened the drawer and saw it inside I immediately opened it checking if my notebook was inside when I saw it I felt relief rundown me. I opened it to the last page, the poem I was writing the morning before the incident.
I was initially writing about Mum, or will I say I always write about mum. But now I did not feel like doing so, I wanted to write about the person that saved me cause I felt that person was gonna play a huge role in my life
Dad came in looking so angry clenching his arms
"Dad what's wrong"
"It's Lucio"
YAYA it's always Lucio
"What happened this time" I said feeling highly unconcerned
"They framed us"
What. How. Why
"I d..ont understand dad framed us why"
"They did a press meeting saying that it was Andy that was lock in the room full of peaches and she's currently confined in the hospital, that brat Lucio actually called me saying you locked Andy in a room full of peaches"
Dad said and I looked at him totally shocked
Gosh this was beyond
"So that bitch actually thinks she can continue deceiving me right" he said angrily
I did not know what to say I just felt like the victim here and to be true to my self am always the victim
"Dad you really need to be calm"
But come to think of it they could not come up with a better lie. If I could remember vividly Andy is not allergic to peaches but strawberries
"Dad Andy has no allergies for peaches but strawberries"
Dad looked at me and a slay smile formed in his lips
And I knew dad already had a plan in mind
Dad sat down beside me and held my hand
"Don't worry Lolli a time will come when all this will be over" Dad said and squeezed my hand gently
"I love you dad"
"And I love you more Lolli"
