We head to the Alpha Force Base accompanied by Maya herself, taking in runa with her as we meet the generals then the leader of the Alpha force himself.
"Sir we're in dang-" i was cut off by the leader.
"We heard your story through maya. now before i get to the plan i want to know what has our little fierce rivaling faction DELTA do to you?" he said speaking in a deep voice. dont know if it's normal or some disorder he has but i sighed and told him.
"Sir me and my comrade marsh we've been used as experiments to become supersoldiers. but eventually failed and used different ancient methods to make us stronger but our bodies couldnt handle.. then at the brink of death we saw... entities.. reassuring us of our awakening as we broke free from the pain we've been through" i deeply explained the situation at hand as the leader shocked by the news took matters seriously and looked at us dead in the eye.
"that's very illegal, i hope they know that no one will save them when they fall to their endless pit of failed experiments.. your actions are reasonable but also illegal so no one wins in the end marcus. also glad to see my precious runa back at our base, my gratitude goes to you mister marsh." he bowed at both of us keeping his professionalism to the max.
"Whats next? We have a common enemy now" i say to the leader.
"We cant breach our peace treaty. Only if delta breaches it, after that we can wipe them off from the city" the leader said in defeat. Knowing the horrors behind delta's inhumane practices.
"We spoke with the president. He gave us a greenlight so why cant you?" Marsh responded suddenly.
The whole crowd went silent. No one knew he'd pull that card except us two.
"President? Well he probably did mention it to you guys specifically. We still cant barge in to your buisnesses" the leader responded back.
"Well.. we'll get moving" i say as then we hear sirens going off, soldiers rushing towards the entrance.
"If its delta we are gonna rip their roots out" the leader spoke in anger as he pulled his gun out, gold plated desert eagle. Me and marsh looked at the gun in amazement as we turn to see who it is and it was another entity of sorts... Not really but me and marsh could sense it.
Yuno examined from afar as she turned to us.
"Thats an anti-entity user" she said as i turn to marsh and nod as we rush towards that anti entity person.
We rush to the entrance where the sirens played off as we see a guy with a scythe.. black coat. And wings stretching out like actual wings.
"What the hell?... That's an anti entity user?!" I say to marsh as he nodded.
"Dont let your guard down. He's not that easy to kill plus it was done by delta i assume" marsh responded as he rushed in to take that thing down but gets kicked away, crashing into a wall.
"What.." i thought to myself.. what kind of demon is that? Thats no anti entity or an entity. That THING looks like it came out of hell for revenge.
"Marcus.. come to us.." it spoke.. rushing towards me as i side step and land a punch on it's tough chest. Marsh getting up and blitzing his way to it as he read this thing like a book, dodging a slice from the scythe it had on its hand and marsh managed to land a kick to it's head sending it flying across walls.
"Clearly not as strong as me but their durability pisses me off" marsh said to me explaining to me it's stats.
I point at the so called anti entity user "dont make me do this to you man.." i say to it but it was a mistake giving that THING a chance to spare us as it rushed and started throwing punches left and right across my face.. i started feeling numb from the punches as i stared at it deep into it's eyes before aiming my finger at it.
"Bang." Part of it's body was gone but it didnt stop fighting. It craved more.
Marsh aimed his finger at it too beaming it's other part off its body but still stood there. Like it was no big deal.
"Is this what you meant?" I say to marsh as it rushed towards me, kicked me in the face sending my flying across rooms not just walls... Entire rooms. I was on the brink of passing out but i refuse to get knocked out... I get up panting softly. Coughing up blood as i have gotten pissed off real bad. My mind turned into killer instincts as i blast towards this unkillable thing and punch it's chest with all my might. It finally dropped the scythe as i l grabbed it and swung at it. It had quick reflexes as it was spinning it's body to the ground to kick me to the side but i blocked it with it's scythe. Marsh pulling out his scythe and started moving fast. I couldnt track his movements but it's eyes were able to track him down easily.
It played cautious. Strategic. At the perfect time it found an opening as it dashed offset to his trajectory and smacking marshy to the ground.
"Crap. He predicts movements too?!" I say to marsh but i realise he was knocked out.
I had to finish the job....
what? I have a killer mode? What is this system on about? Why does it give me notifications and why am i so fixated on this thing now?..
It rushed towards me fast.. but somehow i felt like it was moving slow... Is this the killer mode? I have better sights over them?
I dash to the side landing a kick and rushing towards the flying bastard as it finally used it's wings to fly around at speeds no human is capable of capturing with their own eyes.
