Chapter 3 - chp 3

Emergency United World Summit

—The Night the World Changed

---

The grand hall in Geneva pulsed with dread.

Presidents, prime ministers, generals, and envoys from over a hundred nations sat in tightly packed rows beneath the arched ceiling of the United Global Crisis Summit. Massive LED screens loomed overhead, cycling through footage of collapsing cities, blackened skies, and oceans teeming with swarms of bee-like horrors. The usual diplomatic posturing was gone—this was survival.

At the head of the hall stood Elsa, Director of SCP External Operations. Her jet-black uniform was creased from 72 hours without rest, her eyes hollow but hard as steel. When she stepped up to the central lectern, the hall fell pin-drop silent.

> Elsa (measured):

"This is not an alien invasion. This is a containment breach. SCP‑59—'Hive Singularity'—has escaped Foundation custody. It has seeded swarms across six continents… in less than twenty-four hours."

The words landed like bombs.

Chancellor Reinhardt of Germany slammed his fist on the table.

> Reinhardt:

"You had years to prevent this! And you told no one? Whole cities—gone!"

> Elsa (cold):

"We warned the UN seventeen years ago. You labeled us alarmists. You shut the door."

A heavy silence followed.

Then President Liu of China stood, his voice steady despite the chaos.

> Liu:

"There's no time for blame. Tell us your strategy."

Elsa gestured sharply. The screens flickered to a world map, now overlaid with thirteen red-glowing dots.

> Elsa:

"These are the Anchor Points. Cores where the dimensional rift is strongest. Kill them, and we cut the hive off. Without connection to the Singularity, the swarm starves."

The U.S. Secretary of Defense narrowed his eyes.

> Defense Sec.:

"How many operatives do you have?"

> Elsa (quietly):

"Fifty."

The air turned electric.

A breathless disbelief swept through the room.

> PM Patel (India):

"Fifty?! For billions of lives?"

Elsa didn't flinch.

> Elsa:

"Because they are unlike anything your armies can field. The stones chose them. They can wield K-Energy."

At the rear of the room, five figures stood at attention.

Captain Jacks, eyes like thunder.

Kim, calm and unreadable.

Dr. Jain, scanning the crowd.

Mr. Okashun, barely holding in a grin.

And one more: Adi, with faintly glowing crimson eyes, silent and still.

> Elsa:

"They are Beta- and Gamma-level anomalies. They can bend reality, heal wounds, teleport, create barriers, even alter the structure of space. The stones awakened something ancient in them. And we'll need more like them."

> Ambassador Durand (France):

"You want us to entrust the world to your… super-powered experiments?"

> Elsa (firm):

"I want you to trust the only force that's actually winning."

A long silence.

> Liu:

"What do you require?"

Elsa let the full weight of her answer sink in.

> Elsa:

"A one-month global lockdown. Civilian shelters. Redeploy military units to defend operatives reaching Anchor Points. And one more thing…"

She tapped a new image on the screen: a training facility hidden deep in India's Aravalli Hills.

> Elsa:

"We begin a new generation of warriors. Four years. The first wave: gifted teens and children. India will host Year One."

Gasps. Questions. Tension.

> Elsa (calm):

"It's the only way forward. You asked how we'll survive. The answer is—we train them."

A beat passed.

Then Patel leaned forward.

> Patel:

"India agrees. You'll have the land and protection."

Others followed, one by one.

A rare moment of global unity.

> Elsa:

"Then let's begin. The war for Earth… has begun."

Scene Shift – Secret Chamber Beneath the Summit

As the chamber emptied, Elsa didn't head back to her room.

She entered a sealed hallway, descending into a hidden briefing chamber beneath the summit floor.

There, behind golden-glass panels, stood the true President of the SCP Foundation, flanked by arcane data projections and security sigils.

Next to her lounged a robed figure sipping from a massive bubble tea, white hair glowing faintly in the dark.

> President (softly):

"You handled the summit well, Elsa."

Elsa only gave a tired nod.

> Lord (grinning):

"She's such a baddie when she's mad. I replayed that moment she shut Reinhardt up like, five times."

> President (deadpan):

"You're a pervert."

> Elsa (already walking away):

"Good luck sealing the Anchors. I'm going to sleep for a month."

> Lord (stretching):

"Well, time to go sprinkle some magic across the world."

With a flick of his fingers, he vanished into dust, teleporting across the globe.

---

Montage – Magic Across the World

He moved unseen—through storm clouds, over oceans, across deserts and cities.

At each Anchor Point, he left behind glowing sigils in the earth, sky, and even hidden beneath rivers.

His voice, soft and deep, echoed in an ancient tongue:

> "Let the barrier rise. Let time slow. Let resistance form."

One by one, mystical barriers pulsed to life across the globe—the first shield between Earth and the hive.

Scene Cut – Back to Aravalli Hills Base

Inside the training center, a group of teens huddled around a projector.

Shrey, Maya, Yash, Mayra, Kabir, Arjun, and others stared at a replay of the summit.

> Kabir (chibi-mode, furious):

"FIFTY?! Where's the rest of the damn anime cast?!"

> Yash (deadpan):

"We're the cast. You're the comic relief."

> Mayra (chibi smug, munching popcorn):

"Fifty operatives? Let me guess, we're plot-locked into becoming the next fifty."

> Maya (chibi blush):

"Shrey's already halfway there…"

Cue Shrey spitting out water.

> Shrey (mortified):

"W-What?!"

Everyone laughed—until the faint buzzing sound began outside the windows.

Low. Inevitable.

The swarm was never far.
