Henry couldn't hold back his frustration any longer and shouted, "Diving your sister!!"
Nicole Kidman, in all her self-righteousness, said that if you can dive, is there any law? Is there any law? But I didn't even say that there should be unspoken rules, yet your tone is so condescending?!
Jim Aaron, a minor technician, was less than impressed by Henry's retort—he dared to criticize. Growing increasingly angry, he snapped, "Smelly boy, how dare you insult me?"
As Jim Aaron lunged forward to throw a punch, Henry's reflexes kicked in. He dodged swiftly, then retaliated with a kick. Although only fourteen, Henry was physically active and more mature than most his age. He may not have been as strong as an adult, but he still had some power. Jim Aaron, taken aback by the audacity of Henry's attack, stumbled back and fell to the ground!
With a yelp of pain, anger boiled within Jim Aaron, and he got back on his feet, ready to fight again.
Nicole Kidman was shocked by how the situation escalated and quickly intervened to prevent further violence between the two. While she helped Henry restrain Jim, Henry's driver and bodyguard, Sean Houston, who had been smoking nearby, noticed the commotion. He tossed aside the cigarette butt and rushed over. Without saying a word, he delivered a powerful punch to Jim Aaron, who promptly fainted on the spot.
The retired lieutenant of the U.S. Navy SEALs was definitely not to be trifled with!
"Mr. Williams, are you okay?" Sean Houston asked with genuine concern.
"It's just a little injury, I'm fine," Henry reassured him, shaking his head. He bent down to inspect Jim Aaron, who lay on the ground. Alas, things didn't look good; Sean had knocked out Jim's front teeth!
"Sean, wake him up and get him out of here!" Henry ordered firmly.
"Alright, Mr. Williams!"
Sean dragged Jim Aaron over to a nearby sink and turned on the faucet, splashing water on his face. Jim stirred irritably and awoke to find Sean towering over him, a muscular figure glaring down. The sight of the intimidating man sent a wave of fear through Jim's heart.
"Get lost when you wake up!" Sean shouted.
"Yes, yes, I'm going!" Jim Aaron nodded vigorously before scrambling to his feet and fleeing, though his face was strained with resentment as he left. "I'll repay this grudge!" he vowed silently.
Meanwhile, Henry and Nicole Kidman retreated to her home, where she tended to his wounds.
Henry lay back on the sofa with his eyes closed, relishing the scent of the ointment mixed with her perfume. Nicole carefully applied medication to his face, where scratches were still oozing blood. She looked at him with concern, asking softly, "Does it hurt?"
"It doesn't hurt," Henry replied with a smile, opening his eyes to find himself entranced by the sight before him. The allure of Nicole's figure caused him to swallow hard, his eyes widening in surprise at her beauty.
Noticing Henry's lingering gaze, Nicole's face flushed crimson, and she quickly stood up to adjust her outfit, shooting him a glare. "Pervert!" she scolded.
"Hehe..." Henry chuckled awkwardly. "It was an unintentional mistake—I just saw it by accident..."
"Aside from your face, are you injured anywhere else?" Nicole asked, casting him a disapproving glance.
"My arm is a bit sore too. I took a few hits while trying to block that guy," Henry admitted, rolling up his sleeves to reveal bruises blooming on his forearm. "Wow, this is pretty bad!"
"Ah! Your arm looks painful!" Nicole exclaimed in alarm, touching it gently. "Does it hurt?"
"It's just a minor injury; I haven't complained about it," Henry insisted.
"You really can't downplay this! Let me treat it!" Nicole hurriedly began applying more ointment, her motherly instincts kicking in as she fussed over him about taking care of his injuries.
Once she had finished tending to his wounds, night had fallen, and Nicole invited Henry to dinner at her place. Excitedly, he accepted her invitation.
But before he could fully enjoy the moment, he watched as Nicole picked up her phone and ordered takeout.
Henry's heart sank—so she couldn't cook!
Disappointment washed over him, but before long, the takeout arrived. Their meal was plentiful, comprising fried shrimp, clam steamed eggs, steaks, ham, rice, and thick soup.
As they dined, their conversation flowed effortlessly. At one point, when Nicole inquired about Henry's background, his demeanor shifted, and he hesitated. After a brief pause, he admitted, "I'm an orphan now..."
Henry slowly recounted his life story piece by piece. As Nicole listened, her expression softened, sympathy evident in her gaze. Perhaps moved by the boy's sadness—or perhaps by her maternal instincts—she reached over and gently caressed the top of his head. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked about that..."
But then, as the faint scent of her perfume wafted into his nostrils, Henry was jolted back to the present. He was suddenly aware of her warm hand stroking his back—an involuntary response caused him to encircle Nicole Kidman's waist, drawing her closer.
Just as he was enveloped in the moment, Nicole felt Henry's hand roam toward her backside. Her face burned with embarrassment as she noticed how intimate the moment had become—she was about to resist when...
**Knock, knock, knock.**
"Mr. Williams, your call!" Sean Houston's voice echoed from the door, interrupting the charged atmosphere. "Miss Helen called, saying there's something urgent at the company!"
"Okay, I got it!" Henry exclaimed as reality hit him like a bucket of ice water.
Nicole quickly extricated herself from Henry's grasp, her expression now stormy.
"What were you doing just now?" she demanded, her beautiful eyes raining down icy daggers. "You just made up a story to deceive me and take advantage of the situation, didn't you? You're just like Jim Aaron—a cunning little raccoon dog. You should leave, I don't want you here!"
Henry was taken aback. He realized he had crossed a line. Why had he allowed himself to get caught up in the moment with Nicole? Now, he had made her angry, and the thought of being kicked out stung.
"I'm sorry; I was wrong, genuinely!" he quickly apologized.
"I don't need your apologies! Just leave!" she snapped, her voice resolute.
Silenced by her frigid gaze, Henry slowly gathered his toolkit, preparing to depart. But just before he left, he turned back to her and spoke sincerely, "I acted impulsively and made a mistake, but I didn't lie to you..."
With that, Henry exited Nicole Kidman's house, leaving the tension in the air hanging heavy behind him.
