In the dirty alley of New York, a boy woke up and gasped for breath. He looked around in confusion. A pain flared through his body, he looked down at his body. What is this pain? He looked pretty beaten up and has many wounds on his body. From the condition of his body and scars, he is very abused.
He stood up and staggered out while a window is flashing in front of him :
[ Insufficient energy ]
But he isn't in a condition to care about it. His vision is all blurry and dizzy. He is gasping for breath, he looked to be in very bad condition. Blood is oozing from his wounds. He supported himself with the nearby wall and walked forward. There are strange sounds and shouts which he can't seem to properly hear.
He is in panic, what is even happening? Gun white are echoing through the city. As he staggered forward, a bullet out of nowhere hut his shoulder making him drop to the ground in pain. He wanted to stand up but the increased bleeding made it impossible.
" Take him as a test subject too. Nobody will care anyway ".
He is picked up by someone and thrown into a van. They injected something into him. He only saw a man in a mask injecting and treating his wounds before he lost consciousness fully. As he is excited away to secret lab, he woke up with bandages all over his body.
He looked around in confusion. He is in a cage like thing. There is only a mirror on one side while the three sides are covered with walls. He tried to stand up while the window is keep on flashing in front of him.
[ Insufficient Energy ]
What do you mean by insufficient energy? What the hell is happening? Ugh, he only remembered he woke up in a strange place with wounds all over him. Suddenly some kind of slime like substance is released into the cage. It's moving towards him, he shuddered and moved back but the wall prevented him from escaping.
Looking around he saw the mirror and has an idea. In movies isn't this the famous observation mirror. He ran towards it and collided with it gathering all his strength but not even a crack appeared. The substance attached itself on him meanwhile and he felt his insides are eaten away by this thing. But then the window said something else.

[ Connected to the entity - darkness ]
[ Activating leech protocol ]
[ Sufficient energy gathered for system awakening ]
[ Leech protocol is deactivated ]
[ Detected the x-gene in host body ]

In an instant his wounds started regenerating and healed completely. The boy felt few memories returning to him. Some from this body, some from the previous life. The boy looked at the lab with eyes. His fingers turned into black-grey tendrils, they attached to the mirror like suction pump and then a part of the tendril turned into sharp points.
They started piercing the glass. Cracks started appeared on it before it broke completely into pieces. The boy looked around the lab coldly before stratching his hands again. Black-Grey tendrils pierced few people there and started sucking their blood and life out. In a few moments few dried corpses are left there.
The big turned to the remaining ones who are escaped and when he is going to absorb them too, suddenly out of nowhere a rocket is fired at him. Fortunately he reacted in time and barely evaded it. He looked at the troops that's entered the room.
They launched some kind of sonic attack at him thinking he is only acting like this because of the symbiote. But the boy didn't even phase, one of his hands turned into a curved blade before he sweeper it across the room. His arm extended like a rope cutting the soldiers in half.
The boy the released tendrils from his back absorbing their blood too. His moments didn't stop, the boy looked at the smoke screen and rain of bullets and rockets at him. He leaned forward almost touching the ground before leaping at the soldiers from the smoke screen evading the projectiles.
Sharp tendrils pierced the soldiers and started absorbing their blood room the size and number of tendrils increased too. He looked around coldly as bullets pierced through him. But they did nothing, rockets are being deflected by the tendrils from his back.
Explosions echoed throughout the building before it started collapsing. The boy leapt from the building and entered the river outside. He then disappeared from the sight of chasing soldiers.
