Chapter Forty-Two
Inside Crow's vast Pocket Dimension,
a strange atmosphere filled the air.
The newly summoned Eclipse Dragon circled the skies gracefully, radiating majestic power.
Its three glowing horns left trails of light, dark mist, and spatial fractures wherever it flew.
Down below, however,
several pairs of sharp eyes were glaring up at it.
Sasha, Aeris, and Elizabeth — Crow's three Divine Rank female units — stood together, arms crossed, expressions stormy.
Selene, Seloria, and Seraphina — his three female heroes — whispered among themselves, stealing occasional glances at Crow.
Even Lyravex, the adorable SSS-rank support player permanently clinging to his side, was pouting fiercely.
Sasha stomped a foot, shaking the ground slightly.
"Tch. First it's those elves, now a dragon too? He's spoiling it like it's some stray pet," she muttered.
Aeris flicked her hair, her emerald eyes sharp.
"We were supposed to be his strongest forces. Divine beasts or not, they're latecomers."
Elizabeth clicked her spider legs irritably.
"I could weave a special silk around its wings... 'accidentally' of course."
Meanwhile, Seraphina floated beside Crow, arms wrapped around his neck, staring with puppy-dog eyes.
"Master~ pay attention to us more," she whispered into his ear.
Selene frowned, her spear tapping the floor impatiently.
"We should be training, not letting some overgrown lizard show off."
Seloria quietly began drawing tiny sabotage arrays in the air, hiding them with a sweet, innocent smile.
Lyravex pulled on Crow's sleeve like a lost kitten, her big shimmering eyes full of grievance.
"M-Master... I'm your favorite, right? Not that... dragon thing?"
Crow blinked, feeling the intense waves of jealousy washing over him from all directions.
He let out a slow sigh.
It seemed that even with godlike power and an unstoppable army...
he had accidentally created a new battlefield without realizing it.
One he wasn't sure even he could fully control.
