Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

 "Brrr… So cold…" I shivered.

I was in the starter village and it was apparently winter. Time in a game is weird, the game doesn't line up with the real world.

 "Ngh…"

 There we go.

Airi lifts herself up and looks around.

"You are finally awake," I said.

 "What the…?" Says Airi "Huh?"

Airi looks deeply into my eyes.

 "Wha–?!"

I wasn't able to finish my word because of the book that hit me in the face.

 "Ow…"

 "Creep!"

"But what did I do?" I said, rubbing my nose.

"Why are you spying on me while I sleep?!" She asked. " And how did I get here?"

"Finally, I thought you were never going to ask that question…"

"What is that supposed to mean?"

"That I survived and saved you."

 "Wha–I–huh?!" She said, embarrassed.

"...though I… got injured in the fight. "

"A-are you okay?"

"Yeah, I can heal, after all, this is a game."

"Good."

After that, me and Airi went to the next mission. Which was to raid more labyrinths.

He saved me, and healed me with his last healing potion. He puts others before himself. Thought Airi. He's really kind… I'm glad he was there.

Days passed. At that time, me and Airi went different ways.

I was sitting in the starting town, eating my daily lunch or snack, which was bread or meat. Meat was the best because it generated most of your stamina. While bread was not half bad, it also generated your stamina bar, but not as much.

 "Hey!"

I looked at where the voice had come from.

"What?" I said, surprised. "Why are you here, Airi?"

 "What? Missed me?"

"Hmm nah, more like I needed a partner for adventure…"

 "That means missing me."

I looked at how Airi was dressing after she'd joined the Knights Of The Sky. Her uniform was–you guessed it–blue.

"Your uniform sticks to its name"

 "Yep"

"Oh yeah, what brings you here?"

"Well, my team wants to recruit you."

I stopped. And looked at her confused.

 "Me? Why?"

"You have cleared more labyrinths than anyone. That's why."

 "What if I decline?"

"You don't want to do that," said Airi, looking at me as if the leader was a monster.

 "R-really?"

"No not really! Ha-ha-ha-ha!" Airi burst into laughter.

I sighed, shaking my head. "You're such a riot..."

"Then why are you here?" I asked.

"I miss the days Me and You explored Labyrinths " She responded.

"Okay, I have one Labyrinth that I still can't beat."

 "Then let's go there!"

Me and Airi walked to the Labyrinth. I still haven't beaten.

 Clang

The doors of the Labyrinth opened slowly, and two wolves jumped straight at us.

Since I knew this, I pointed my sword to one of the wolves. Then I looked beside me and saw that Airi had killed the other wolf.

"Where did you learn to do that?" I asked, surprised.

"I learned these killing or attacking methods from my guild."

"You are stronger than last time."

 She grinned, "Thanks."

We walked deeper into the Labyrinth. And more monsters appeared. As usual, we killed them and kept going.

Three minutes later we reached the part that I still couldn't beat.

"This is it, the boss chamber," I said.

"Is this the part you can't beat because you are weak?"

 "I–wha–What?!"

 "Ha-ha-ha-ha! Just joking."

The doors open and alot of high orcs come rushing towards us. And we killed them.

"The boss is here. I can't believe I got past the part I couldn't beat.."

Me and Airi walk inside. And something shoots bullets of fire. The bullets of fire come to our shoulders and our legs, Then blood comes out.

 "Ack!"
