Chapter 1 - # Chapter 1: Waking Up in a New World

Haruka's head pounded like someone had drop-kicked his brain. He blinked, wincing at the sunlight pouring through the classroom window. The wooden desk under his fingers felt too real, too grounded for a dream. Kids around him were laughing, whispering, or doodling, their voices blending into a familiar hum. He rubbed his temples, a nagging sense of *wrongness* clawing at him.

Then it slammed into him—a torrent of memories that weren't supposed to be his. Earth. Late-night anime binges. A truck's headlights blinding him on a crosswalk. Darkness. And a voice, sharp and mechanical, offering a deal: a new life in a new world with a cheat to sweeten the pot. The Quincy System.

Haruka's breath caught. He wasn't just some kid in a ninja village. He was from *Earth*. And now he was in Konoha, the heart of the Naruto world. *Holy crap.*

He scanned the room, trying to play it cool. The classroom was straight out of the anime—wooden walls, a chalkboard scribbled with ninja formations, and a gaggle of kids in retro Konoha gear. His eyes landed on the guy next to him, and his heart did a backflip. Blonde hair, blue eyes, and a grin that could light up a room. *Minato Namikaze*. The future Fourth Hokage, chilling right there, sketching a shuriken in his notebook.

"You good, man?" Minato's voice was easygoing, but his eyes were sharp, like he'd already noticed Haruka's mini-freakout. "You look like you just ate bad ramen."

Haruka forced a chuckle, leaning back in his chair. "Yeah, just… spaced out. Rough morning." He ran a hand through his silver hair, catching his reflection in the window. He looked like Haruka from *Yosuga no Sora*—sharp cheekbones, pale skin, and soft gray eyes that screamed "pretty boy." No wonder the girls in the back were giggling and sneaking glances. He was on Minato's level, popularity-wise, and the vibe in the room confirmed it.

Minato smirked, twirling a pencil. "Rough morning, huh? You and Sora stay up too late again?"

Haruka froze for a split second. Sora. His sister. The name sparked a rush of this body's memories. Sora, his twin, with the same silver hair and delicate features, but softer, quieter. A civilian, not a ninja, living with him in a small house on the edge of Konoha. Their parents—ANBU operatives—had died years ago in a skirmish during the Second Shinobi War. They'd left behind a fortune in ryo, a stash of jutsu scrolls, and a legacy that weighed heavy on Haruka's shoulders. He was their prodigy, expected to carry the family name into the ninja ranks.

"Yeah, she's been bugging me to fix the garden," Haruka said, dodging the deeper truth. He wasn't ready to unpack the whole "reincarnated with a cheat" thing with Minato, no matter how chill the guy seemed.

A sharp *ding* cut through his thoughts, making him flinch. A glowing screen materialized in his vision, floating like a HUD from a sci-fi game. Text scrolled across it, crisp and commanding.

**Quincy System Activated. Welcome, Haruka. Initializing Chakra Integration… Complete.**

**Core Abilities Unlocked: Chakra Manipulation (Reishi Equivalent), Hirenkyaku (High-Speed Movement), Blut (Defensive Enhancement).**

**Mission: Graduate the Academy. Reward: Ginto Techniques Unlocked.**

**Note: Chakra-based Quincy powers scale with your ninja training. Combine with inherited jutsu for optimal results.**

Haruka's pulse quickened. So this was his cheat. Quincy powers, reworked for the Naruto world. Instead of Reishi, he'd wield chakra—same as everyone else, but with a Quincy's precision and edge. He could feel it already, a cool, focused energy humming in his veins, sharper than the raw chakra he sensed in the kids around him. And the perks? Oh, they were juicy. Most ninja were ground-bound unless they pulled off some high-level jutsu. But Quincies could *float*, maybe even fly with enough practice. That was a game-changer.

"Haruka!" The teacher's voice yanked him back to reality. He looked up to see a stern-faced man—Iruka's dad, maybe?—glaring at him. "If you're done daydreaming, how about you show us the clone jutsu?"

Minato grinned, nudging him. "Time to shine, pretty boy."

Haruka rolled his eyes but stood, stretching with a lazy confidence that felt second nature. His body knew what to do, thanks to years of Academy training. He wove the hand signs—Ram, Snake, Tiger—and channeled chakra, but this time, he laced it with his Quincy instincts, shaping it like he was forming a spirit bow. The result was three flawless clones, each one smirking just like him, their outlines shimmering with a faint silver glow.

The class erupted in gasps and whispers. The teacher's jaw tightened, but he nodded. "Excellent control. What's with the glow?"

"Just a little flair," Haruka said, winking at a girl who was practically melting in the front row. The room burst into cheers, and Minato gave him a playful punch on the shoulder.

"Trying to one-up me already?" Minato teased as Haruka slid back into his seat.

"Gotta keep you humble, future Hokage," Haruka shot back, keeping his voice low. Minato laughed, but there was a glint in his eyes—friendly, but competitive. Haruka liked that. It'd keep things interesting.

As the lesson dragged on, Haruka's mind raced. His Quincy powers were just the beginning. His parents' jutsu scrolls—tucked away in a sealed chest at home—were a goldmine. Wind and lightning techniques, ANBU-level stuff. If he could blend those with his Quincy abilities, maybe even tap into Sage Mode or that crazy Hoshigakure meteor chakra down the line, he'd be a force of nature. But he'd have to be careful. Konoha was peaceful now, but war was always looming.

He thought of Sora, probably at home sketching or tending to her flowers. She wasn't built for the ninja life, but she was his anchor. He'd protect her, no matter what. Their parents' inheritance gave him the tools, and the Quincy System gave him the edge. All he had to do was play his cards right.

Haruka leaned back, a sly grin tugging at his lips. "Alright, Shinobi world," he muttered under his breath. "Let's have some fun."
