Chapter 13 - Chapter 13: Resonance of the Crimson Pact

---

The dungeon rumbled like a heart on the edge of bursting.

In the swirling red mist, Adexander, Igris, and Velessia stood side by side —

the ground shattering beneath their presence.

The two surviving Obsidian Kings gritted their teeth behind cracked helms.

They had no choice.

Obsidian King #1:

> "Activate the Last Rite!"

The knights slammed their weapons into the ground.

Chains of black magic erupted, wrapping around their broken armor —

infusing their rotting bodies with cursed flames.

Their auras tripled instantly —

reaching levels that could crush lesser kingdoms.

Igris (cracking his knuckles):

> "Finally, they're serious."

Velessia (drawing her radiant blade):

> "No mercy."

Adexander (grinning savagely):

> "Good. Now it's a real fight."

---

BOOM!

The first Obsidian King charged like a living siege engine, earth cracking with every stomp.

Igris moved in first —

his black greatsword flashing in a vicious arc.

Their weapons met in a storm of sparks.

The impact sent shockwaves that flattened nearby pillars.

CLANG!

CRACK!

Igris parried a blow so heavy it left a crater under his feet —

then pivoted, using the king's momentum to drive his sword into the knight's shoulder.

The cursed flames hissed —

but Igris was relentless.

Igris (low growl):

> "Break."

He pushed harder —

shattering the Obsidian King's corrupted armor in a spray of molten shards.

---

Meanwhile, the second king unleashed a barrage of chain-magic spikes at Velessia.

Whoosh.

Whoosh.

Whoosh.

Thousands of cursed lances streaked toward her.

Velessia moved like a phantom.

Twisting.

Gliding.

Her radiant blade carved intricate patterns in the air —

severing the cursed spells like silk strands.

The air around her shimmered as her blade blurred into a dance.

Velessia (calmly):

> "Weak."

She raised a single hand.

A massive circle of white glyphs bloomed around her.

[Judgement Lotus — First Bloom.]

In an instant —

every cursed lance disintegrated into harmless ash.

And she advanced.

Each step left burning lotus patterns on the ground —

a silent, unstoppable executioner.

---

Meanwhile — Adexander.

He wasn't even moving fast anymore.

He was walking forward, letting the sheer gravity of his existence warp reality.

As he passed shattered stones, they floated upwards.

As he inhaled, the very air shuddered.

The Obsidian Kings turned toward him in terror.

They had fought gods.

They had killed gods.

But this...

This wasn't a god.

This was a calamity given flesh.

---

Adexander (quiet, deadly):

> "You had your chance to kneel."

He raised one hand —

and the crimson mist boiled.

It solidified into hundreds of spectral chains.

[Crimson Sovereignty: Chains of Judgment.]

The chains shot forward, wrapping around the surviving kings.

They struggled —

but the chains were feeding on their own energy, tightening with every heartbeat.

The kings roared in defiance, trying to break free —

Obsidian King #1:

> "I WILL NOT BOW—"

Adexander:

> "You already have."

He clenched his fist.

The crimson chains crushed inward.

BOOM.

CRACK.

SPLATTER.

In a scream of blood and black fire —

the two kings were obliterated, leaving behind only shattered fragments of armor drifting in the mist.

---

Silence.

Only the faint hum of crimson mist, swirling like a gentle storm.

Adexander stood in the center, chest rising and falling slowly, his eyes like two burning stars.

Igris walked up, sword resting across his shoulders.

Igris (grinning):

> "My king... you're as terrifying as ever."

Velessia arrived beside them, wiping black blood from her blade.

Velessia (mock-innocent tone):

> "Was that your idea of a warm-up?"

Adexander chuckled, low and rough.

Adexander:

> "If they think that was a warm-up..."

He gazed deeper into the dungeon —

where an even more sinister aura began to slither out from the abyss.

Adexander (smirking):

> "Then they're not ready for what's coming."
