After finishing his business in the loo, cleaning himself, and wearing new, fresh pants, Ye Shen drew the Yin Yang Taiji Formation on the floor and sat in the middle.
To his surprise, the law that applied in this little blue planet was not so much different than his previous world. The reality of this planet was governed by the Yin and Yang Qi. Two contradicting forces that support life itself.
The only difference was, the Qi on this planet was so thin. Even Ye Shen had to concentrate so deeply just to accumulate one droplet of Yang Qi.
"I need to assimilate ten strands of Yang Qi into my body in order to advance to the Second Stage Body Transformation. But, gathering Yang Qi droplets into one singular Yang Qi strand is a very arduous task! Damn it! Why did the Void Worm transmigrate me into this little planet in the first place!?"
Notwithstanding the adversity, Ye Shen gathered the surrounding Yang Qi in the air. As he focusing his mind, Ye Shen had gathered approximately ten droplets of Yang Qi, and he would need to gather ninety droplets of Yang Qi in order to weave one strand of Yang Qi.
"Sigh, the progress is still really slow! Nevertheless, it's still a progress."
As Ye Shen opened his eyes, his sweat and all kinds of impurities were pooling around him. Little did he know, he had been meditating for twenty four hours full, without a rest. It was hard compared to his early days. But, it felt very rewarding at the same time.
Ye Shen opted to end his meditation, and cleaned the room before the stench leaked outside. Once he did, he took a bath for one more time.
While contemplating in his head about what to do in this high-tech society, Ye Shen began to wonder. "Come to think of it, how do the humans on this blue planet survive with just a miniscule amount of Qi Energy?"
As his thoughts wander around, a light knock resounded on the door. Meilan's cute voice muffled by the door. "Ye Shen? Are you awake? If so, let's come down and have breakfast together."
"En. I'll head downstairs briefly."
Ye Shen ended his meditation, cleaned his room and changed into fresh clothes. While looking in the mirror, Ye Shen felt like he was still in a dream. However, the reality that his cultivation was reduced into a mere First Stage Body Transformation hits him the hardest.
'I need to get stronger! And get back to the Nine Heavens Continent!'
Setting the internal grudge aside, Ye Shen finally sat at the dining table, accompanied by Meilan and Dr. Wang. He was so moved to see a bowl of congee, and stir fried veggies on the table. It reminds him how his mother would cook for breakfast.

Ye Shen blushed, he couldn't hide his appetite. For the past week, he was finally able to eat solid food.
"Thank you… Miss Meilan, Dr. Wang. I will surely repay your kindness!"
"Haiyaa…" Dr. Wang shook his head. "Enough with your words of gratitude. Sit down, and finish your bowl while it's still warm.
"En!"
Afyer finishing his meal with gusto, Ye Shen's face turned serious. "Miss Meilan, may I ask something?"
"Yes?"
"Truth to be told, I don't want to burden you two any longer than this. Tomorrow, I will start looking for a job and live on my own. Therefore, can you please teach me how to earn money? I might lose my memories, but I still have my body." Ye Shen curled his biceps which evoke girlish giggles from Meilan.
After exchanging a nod with her grandfather, Meilan turned to him. "If you insist, let me take you for a walk this evening, and see what interests you the most. I also have a gym class at seven, So… it'd be perfect!"
"A gym class?" Ye Shen was askew. It was a completely new word for him.
However, Meilan explained patiently. "It's a training session. I'm an instructor as well as a nutritionist in that gym and I'm get paid for helping people to train their bodies."
"Ahh, a teacher?!"
Meilan giggled amusingly seeing Ye Shen's innocent remark. "You may so, Ye Shen. Let us finish our meal and head outside."
Suddenly, Dr. Wang rose from his chair and headed to his room. Once he returned, he
brought a black leather jacket in his hand.
"Wear it. It's cold outside."
Meilan's eyes paused for a moment as she saw the jacket. It belonged to her late father. However, she was so happy to see the black leather jacket had found its new owner.
Much to her surprise, the jacket fit perfectly on Ye Shen's body.
"I will treasure it! Thank you, Wang Yizhen!"

Ye Shen followed behind Meilan with steady steps while looking around; Colorful neons, high-rise buildings, flying drones, and all kinds of people wearing unique outfits overwhelmed his eyes once he stepped outside.
His feet hit the ground in a steady beat, and as he walked, he looked around at all the people on the streets.
He could hear the sounds of the city all around him, people talking, car horns honking, and alarm noises in the distance.
He had been walking for minutes, and he couldn't stop admiring the engineering marvel. "Woahhh, the buildings are so huge! Does every city in this planet look like this?! This is so incredible! I have never seen something like this before!"
Meilan was intrigued. "Meaning, do you have some recollection before the event about your origins?"
Ye Shen stiffened. "Err, just a little. Hehe."
"I see." Meilan smiled, but she didn't pursue it any further.
Before long, the gym's building came into his view. The facility was quite sizable, and even had its own Octagon Arena, and it could be seen through the windows.
And then, the SSS Ranked MMA System chimed in his head.
